Antithamnion sparsum Tokida isolated from the southern and western coasts of Korea was investigated in culture, comparing the morphological character with A. defectum Kylin from the Pacific North America. A. sparsum basically showed a Polysiphonia-type life history. However, it sometimes exhibited a monoecious reproducton and the carpospores released from the cystocarp by self-fertilization unexpectedly developed into the plants bearing spermatangia alone. These male plants were not functional up to 60 days culture. The results of intraspecific crosses between populations of A. sparsum were positive and the hybrid carpospores gave rise to normal tetrasporophytes. On the other hand, theinterspecific crosses between A. sparsum and A. defectum were successful partly, evidenced by the gonimoblast development and the release of carpospores in case of A. sparsum (male)$\times$A. defectum (female), but not in case of A. sparsum (female)$\times$A. defectum (male). Thus, the both species were still under the speciation.

An ichthyofauna analysis of the East Sea using quantitative investigation procedures for latitudinal variations of the species richness and clustering of the species list is presented to illustrate the application of the adopted geographical scaling (less than 1:10,000,000) which provides a principal opportunity for common benthic and pelagic biogeographical zonation. The distribution of both pelagic and benthic marine fish biota at a scale of biosphere (or its major sections) was highly influenced by spatial nonuniformity of hydrological structure associated with the various water circulations and frontal zones. Following zoogeographical zonations were established for the East Sea: Osaka, East Korea, Primorye, North Primorye, Northern East Sea, Uetsu, Tsugaru, Soya and West Sakhalin.

We examined the associations between Latino cultural variables and four sexual behaviors among female adolescents of Mexican origin. Participants ages 14 to 19 (N = 153; 70% born in the U.S) completed surveys about four sexual behaviors (making out, receiving and performing oral sex, and vaginal sex) and cultural variables (nativity, language use, familism, and importance of female virginity). Findings indicated that participants who were born in the U.S. were less likely to have engaged in making out and vaginal sex than participants born in Mexico. Participants reporting stronger familism were less likely to have engaged in making out and oral sex than participants reporting less familism. For all behaviors, placing a greater value on female virginity was associated with lesser odds of engaging in that behavior. This study expands our understanding of the role of nativity and Latino values in the sexual behaviors of Mexican-origin female adolescents.

불가사리에 공생하는 요각류가 북태평양에서는 단 4종이 기록되어 있을 뿐이다. 공생성 요각류를 채집하기 위하여 한국산 불가사리를 조사한 결과 요각류 2종이 채집되었다. 이들은 Synstellicola 속에 속하는 1신종과 Scottomyzon gibberum으로서 이들을 기재 또는 재기재한다. S. gibberum은 북대서양에서만 발견되어지던 종으로서, 한국 해역에서는 여러가지 불가사리에 공생하고 있으며 한국내 분포범위가 넓은 것으로 밝혀졌다.

A table of annual sea state occurrences is prepared based on the significant wave heights and modal periods, two parameters representing a Bretschneider wave spectrum. Measurements of them were done by the Korean Ocean Research and Development Institute (KORDI) at 67points around the Korean peninsula for 22 years. Also the average values of parameters over 4 regions and 4 seasons were derived. Comparative seakeeping calculations using wave parameters prevalent around Korea and those of the North Pacific at sea state numbers 3, 4, and 5 respectively, show some differences in the assessed seakeeping performance.

The patterns of occurrence of typhoons in North Pacific region are constantly changing with the increase of temperature in sea surface and the occurrence of El Nino and La Nina and changes of their development caused by global warming. In addition, alterations of flow regimes caused by large-scale hydraulic construction projects in the past few years and changes in precipitation patterns caused by climate change have imposed increased stress on hydroecology while the indiscreet utilization of water resources has a negative environmental impact on the water flows in the natural rivers and streams and hydroecological structures. The purpose of this study is to explore the impact of altered hydrologic regime on stream and riparian ecosystems that are most vulnerable to climate variability and extremes such as typhoons.

Home meal replacements (HMR) are kinds of convenient foods as cooked or semi-cooked foods, which are produced outside of home, to eat directly or after simple cooking in substitution for traditional home meals. Recently the market size for HMR is expanding rapidly around the world due to the changes of global consumer trends, growth of single-person household, increase in economic participation of women, aging population, and so on. The Europe takes over 52.4% of the global market share for HMR in global HMR market, and North America, Asia-Pacific, and Africa-Middle East are following. The most popular HMR products in US and Europe are frozen foods, whereas the market share of chilled products in Asia including Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam are much higher than that in US and Europe. Currently, the trends in HMR is focus on the expansion of the list of products that replace for meals with simple cooking, but it is expected that nutrition-enforced HMR product for aged persons or patients who live alone are requested for the further growth of the HMR market.

This paper examines the features that make a YouTube channel attractive to users. Considering that drawing users' attention is challenging on this platform, where voluminous amounts of videos are available, it is crucial to identify the factors that make users intend to subscribe to a YouTube channel. In this study, we used an online survey to collect data from 1125 respondents and an SEM model using Smart PLS 3.2.8 to analyze it. The results show that integrity and familiarity with a YouTube channel are positively correlated with trust in its creator, which leads to subscribing to the YouTube channel; value and accuracy also positively affect intention to subscribe to a YouTube channel via trust in content. This study enriches the field of research about trust in the creator and trust in content.

통일과 북한이탈주민의 직장생활에 관한 여러 연구들이 진행되고 있지만, 경영학의 인적자원관리 측면에서 북한이탈주민의 특성을 남한 근로자와 비교한 연구는 거의 찾아볼 수가 없었다. 이러한 선행연구의 한계를 고려하여 본 연구는 북한이탈주민과 남한 근로자 사이의 집단 비교분석을 통하여, 조직몰입과 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 차이가 있는지를 분석하였다. 두 집단간의 비교분석을 위하여 북한이탈주민인 근로자 145명, 남한 근로자 213명을 대상으로 다중집단구조방정식모형을 통해 실증분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 조직몰입과 이직의도에 영향을 미치는 측정도구에 대하여 두 집단 모두 동등하게 인식하여 측정동질성은 확인되었다. 측정동질성이 확인되어 두 집단 사이의 차이를 검정한 결과, 긍정심리자본 중 하위 구성요소인 낙관주의가 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 것과 사회적 지지 중 애정적 지지와 교류적 지지가 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 점에 있어서는 두 집단 사이에 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 있음을 확인했다. 두 집단 사이의 경로를 분석해보면, 첫째 긍정심리자본과 관련하여서는 낙관주의가 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 점은 두 집단 모두 확인할 수 있었는데, 그 강도에 있어서 남한 근로자가 미치는 영향이 북한이탈주민의 경우보다 강하게 나타났다. 둘째, 사회적 지지와 관련하여서는 애정적 지지와 교류적 지지가 모두 남한 근로자의 경우 조직몰입과 유의한 영향관계를 확인할 수 없었던 반면, 북한이탈주민 근로자의 경우에는 그 두 가지 사회적 지지가 조직몰입에 영향을 미치는 점을 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 그 외 긍정심리자본의 하위구성요소 중 개인적인 특성이 강한 자기효능감, 희망, 복원력과 사회적 지지의 하위 구성요소(정보적 지지, 물질적 지지)에 관한 부분은 두 집단 사이의 차이를 확인할 수 없었다. 이러한 결과는 북한이탈주민 근로자를 고용한 중소기업이나 경영자들에게 북한이탈주민 근로자들이 사회적 지지, 특히 애정적 지지와 교류적 지지를 지각할 수 있도록 조직 환경을 조성해가는 것이 필요함을 시사한다.
