EXISTENCE OF THREE SOLUTIONS FOR A NAVIER BOUNDARY VALUE PROBLEM INVOLVING THE p(x)-BIHARMONIC

  • The existence of at least three weak solutions is established for a class of quasilinear elliptic equations involving the p(x)-biharmonic operators with Navier boundary value conditions. The technical approach is mainly based on a three critical points theorem due to Ricceri [11].

Mini-Wright Peak Flow Meter로 측정한 한국 성인의 최고호기유량의 정상치 (Peak Expiratory Flow in Normal Healthy Korean Subjects Measured by Mini-Wright Peak Flow Meter)

  • 연구배경 : 최고호기유량은 비교적 간단하고, 반복적으로 기도폐쇄의 정도를 양적으로 나타낼 수 있는 수치로, 최근 천식의 치료방침을 결정하는데 있어 최고호기유량 측정의 중요성을 강조하고 있다. 외국에서는 정상 성인에서의 최고호기유량의 추정정상치를 구하기 위한 대규모 단변연구가 시행되었으나 1991년 American Lung Association에서 정한 기준을 정확히 적용하여 추정정상치 뿐만 아니라, 최고호기유량의 정규분포성을 검정하고 정상치의 하한선까지 제시한 대규모 단면연구가 시행되지 않았다. 이번 연구를 통해 정상 성인을 대상으로 한국인에서의 추정정상치를 구해 이전의 연구결과 및 외국인을 대상으로 한 연구결과와 비교하며, 정상치의 하한선을 구함으로써 한국인에서의 최고 호기유량의 특성을 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 : 1997년 8월부터 2000년 1월까지 세브란스 건강검진센터에 내원한 정상 성인 중 과거에 폐질환을 앓은 적이 있거나, 호흡기 증상을 호소하거나 흡연을 한 적이 없는 남성 233명과 여성 631명을 대상으로 Mini Wright Peak Flow Meter와 Jaeger Master Lab의 폐기능검사기를 이용하여 최고호기유량을 측정한 후 다중회귀분석을 시행하여 정상추정치에 대한 회귀방정식을 구하였다. 또한 최고호기유량의 정규분포성에 대한 검정을 시행한 후 정상치의 하한선에 대한 회귀방정식을 구하고 이를 외국 및 이전에 한국에서 시행한 연구결과와 비교하였다. 결 과 : Mini Wright Peak Flow Meter를 이용하여 측정 한 최고호기유량의 정상추정치 (PEF : L/min)는 남성에서는 $25.117+4.587{\times}$연령(year)-$0.064{\times}$연령$^2+2.931{\times}$신장(cm)이었고($R^2=025$), 여성에서는 $146.942-0.011{\times}$연령$^2+1.795{\times}$신장(cm)+$0.836{\times}$체중(kg)이었다($R^2=0.21$). 최고호기유량의 정상치의 하한선은 남성에서는 $25.117+4.587{\times}$연령(year)-$0.064{\times}$연령$^2+1.936{\times}$신장(cm)이었고, 여성에서는 $146.942-0.011{\times}$연령$^2+1.232{\times}$신장(cm)+$0.481{\times}$체중(kg)이었다. 최고호기유량은 정규분포를 하였다. 남성에서 Mini-Wright Peak Flow Meter로 측정한 한국인의 최고호기유량의 정상추정치는 영국인 및 일본인의 수치와 유사하였다. 여성에서 Mini-Wright Peak Flow Meter로 측정한 한국인의 최고호기유량의 정상추정치는 영국인의 수치와 유사하였고 일본인의 수치보다는 높았다. 남성에서는 정상추정치의 71% 이하를 여성에서는 정상추정치의 76% 이하를 비정상적인 수치를 볼 수 있었다. 결 론 : 호흡기질환이 없는 건강한 남성 233명과 여성 631 명을 대상으로 Mini Wright Peak Flow Meter로 최고호기유량을 측정하여 정상추정치 및 정상치의 하한선을 구하였다. 이는 외국인을 대상으로 한 연구결과와 차이를 보였고, 한국인을 대상으로 한 이전 연구결과와도 차이가 있었다. 향후 한국인을 대상으로 한 최고호기유량의 정상추정치에 대한 연구가 계속 진행되어야 할 것이다.

대두경화유의 감자 튀김시 이화학적 성상과 맛의 변화 (The Physicochemical Properties and Taste Variation of Hydrogenated Soybean oil in Deep-frying Potatoes)

  • This study aims to seek ways to improve frying stability of soybean oil which is widely used for deep frying while at the same time attempting to develop new frying oil and fat of high quality. Taking soybean oil as a control group, the study fried frozen potatoes with hydrogenated soybean oil with iodine value ranging from 60 to 110 for 15 hours. The test results showed that in frying stability, hydrogenated soybean oil with iodine value of 87 and 63 was superior to normal soybean oil and hydrogenated soybean oil with iodine value of 111(P<0.05). In sensory evaluation, however, no significant difference can be detected among groups(P>0.05). The correlation between physicoche-mical properties and sensory evaluation results was highest for smoke point and viscosity. This study concludes, therefore, that hydrogenated soybean oil with iodine value of 60~90 is better than normal soybean oil as deep-frying oil.

Study on Enterprise Value and Asset Structure Optimization of the Iron and Steel Industry in China under Carbon Reduction Strategy

  • The iron and steel sector is caught between two worlds: "carbon reduction" and "development." The goal of this study is to show that optimizing asset structure to boost intangible assets, particularly brand assets, is a viable strategy to achieve low-carbon development. This study uses panel data from 38 A-share companies in China's iron and steel industry from 2010 to 2020, as well as World Brand Lab data, to create a comprehensive impact index of enterprise value from the standpoint of an asset structure optimization, and to test the impact of intangible assets and brand equity on enterprise value. The findings show that: the asset structure of iron and steel enterprises is closely related to enterprise value, implying that iron and steel industry development necessitates a transformation of quantity control and quality improvement; the proportion of intangible assets in the asset structure of iron and steel enterprises plays a positive and critical role in enterprise value under surplus conditions. The iron and steel industry begins to shift from tangible to intangible assets; there is heterogeneity in the iron and steel industry transformation. Given certain technological levels, the share of brand assets contributes significantly to the increase in enterprise value.

정상인의 상지 원위부에 대한 운동학적 분석의 신뢰도 (The Reliability of Kinematic Analysis for Distal Upper Extremity in Normal Person)

  • Purpose: To evaluate statistical differences among three measurements of range of motion (ROM) with Rapael Smart Glove (RSG) group 1, 2 and manual goniometer group. To investigate reference value of the kinematic analysis for range of motion (ROM) of distal upper extremity with Rapael Smart Glove (RSG). Methods: Sixteen normal persons without limitation of motion (LOM) enrolled in the study. The study was performed at two separate times and by two investigators on 16 normal adults. We compared ROM with RSG for measuring joint angles. We compared degrees of forearm supination/pronation, wrist flexion/extension and radial deviation/ulnar deviation during ROM of 16 participants using RSG. After one week, degrees of each motion were measured in the same way by other investigator to evaluate the reliability. Results: Statistical differences among three groups were showed. Most results of paired t-test between two RSG groups were over 0.05 and exceptions are supination, extension, and finger %. Conclusion: Our findings demonstrate that ROM of normal persons obtained by kinematic analysis with RSG are not valid as normal reference value for distal upper extremity motion. But, the reliability of between two RSG groups was showed with paired t-test and Pearson's correlation except supination, extension and finger %.

편마비 보행 :속도에 따른 관절 운동학적 변수 비교 (Hemiplegic gait : comparison of kinematic variables related to Bait speed)

  • In hemiplegic gait, walking speed is an important factor to evaluate treatment effect. The purpose of this study was to describe and compare kinematic variables during differant speed hemiplegic gaits. Six hemiplegic patients(47-69 years old) after stroke and age - matched six volunteers in good health(51-61 years old) were studied. The patients were sorted into two groups, depending on their self - speed of walking : fast speed group(3 patients, $0.74\pm0.14m/s$) and slow speed group(3 patients, $0.29\pm0.09m/s)$. The results were following. 1. In the hip joint, the fast group had lower mean value than normal but had similar pattern to normal. The slow group had continuous flexed pattern. 2. In the knee joint, the fast group had similar mean value and pattern to normal. The slow group had continuous flexed pattern. 3. In the ankle joint, the two group had dorsiflexed pattern. The fast group had similar pattern to normal. Thus, the fast group was similar gait pattern to normal.

F344와 Wistar 랫드의 계통별에 따른 혈액 및 생화학적 연구 (Hmatological and Biochemical Study of F344 and Wistar Rats)

  • The hematology and clinical chemistry data based on the well defined normal data are essential in the safety assessment. It is important that normal values of cliniclal pathology parameters would be optimized to be accurate. So the purpose of this experiment was to compare the ranges of normal data in hematology value and serum chemistry between both sexes of F344 and Wistar rats at 5, 10, 20, 40 and 90 weeks. of age. The neutrophils eosinophils and monocytes increased with age in male Wistar rats. And serum total bilirubin and potassium were highest and alkaline phosphatase was lowest at 90 weeks in Wistar rats. As compared with Wistar rat the serum aspartate aminotransferase of F344 rats increased with age in both sexes but inorganic phosphorus decreased with age. The serum alkaline phosphatase decreased with age and potassium was highest at 90weeks. These normal data would be useful in improving the accuracy of clinical pathology value in the safety assessment.

실측에 의한 국내 법선면 직달일사량 자원의 재평가 (A Revaluation of Direct Normal Insolation Data by Field Measurement in Korea)

  • Since the direct normal insolation is a main factor for designing any focusing solar system, it is necessary to evaluate its characteristics all over the country. We have begun collecting direct normal insolation data since December 1990 at 16 different locations and considerable effort has been made for constructing a standard value from measured data at each station. KIER(Korea Institute of Energy Research)'s new data will be extensively used by concentrating system users or designers as well as by research institutes. From the results, we can conclude that 1) Yearly mean $4,576kcal/m^2.day$ of the direct normal insolation was evaluated for clear day all over 16 areas in Korea. 2) Clear day's direct normal insolation of spring and summer were $4,710kcal/m^2.day$ and $4,960kcal/m^2.day$, and for fall and winter their values were $4,484kcal/m^2.day$ and $4,151kcal/m^2.day$ respectively. So, spring and summer were higher, and fall and winter were lower than the yearly mean value.

  • In order to estimate the human placental lactogen levels and its value as an indicator of placental function during the first half of normal pregnancy, we defermined HPL levels. in normal snbjects (No=40) from the 6th week to the 20th week of gestation For the determination of human placental lactogen in serum of normal pregnant women during the first half of prognancy, radioimmunoassay have been performed using Phadebas HPL Test kit. The range of 25ng to 800ng HPL/ml. were determined by the procedures using Phadbas HPL Test kit, which correspond to levels recorded throughout the first half of normal pregnancy. HPL was detected in the earliest pregnancy samples collected at 6 weeks but was generally present in minute amount during the first trimester of pregnancy, when the HPL level ranged from 25 ng/ml. to 0.86 ${\mu}g$/ml. The mean concentration of HPL increased gradually from only 0.03 ${\mu}g$/ml, at 6 weeks to 0.25 ${\mu}g$/ml, at 12 weeks of gestation, Subsequently the mean HPL value rose steeply from 0.25 ${\mu}g$/ml, at 12 weeks to 1.65 ${\mu}g$/ml, at 20 weeks of gestation.

등각사상과 평균값좌표계를 이용한 정점 법선벡터 계산법 (Vertex Normal Computation using Conformal Mapping and Mean Value Coordinates)

  • 컴퓨터그래픽스에서 다루어지는 대부분의 물체들은 메쉬 형태로 표현된다. 보다 다양한 형태로의 변형이나 현실감 있는 렌더링을 얻기 위해서는 정점에서의 올바른 법선벡터 계산이 필수적이다. 이에 대한 기존 연구들은 정점의 기하학적 특성을 단순하게 반영하는 가중치를 사용하였다. 본 논문에서는 국지적 기하학 특성을 종합적으로 반영하는 등각사상과 이웃 정점과의 상호관계를 연속적으로 표현할 수 있는 중간값 좌표계를 사용하는 방법을 제안한다. 논문에서 제시된 방법이 기존 다른 방법에 비해서 보다 정확한 법선벡터를 계산할 수 있음을 실험을 통해서 알 수 있다.
