다변수 비선형 확률 시스템에 대한 극점배치 제어기 설계 (Pole Placement Controller Design for Multivariable Nonlinear Stochastic Systems)

  • A controller disign method is proposed for multivariable nonlinear stochastic systems with hard nonlinearities such as Coulomb friction, backlash and saturation. In order to take the nonlinearities into account statistical linearization techniques are used. And multi- variable pole placement techniques are applied to design controller for the statistically linearized multivariable systems. The basic concept of the controller design method is to solve two coupled equations, characteristic equation and Lyapunov equation, simultaneously and iteratively for statistically linearized multivariable stochastic systems. An aircraft with saturation serves as a design example. The design example illustrates the influence of nonlinear effects. The results of the analysis are compared to Monte Carlo simulation to test their accuracy.

  • In this paper we consider inverse problem for a general class of nonlinear stochastic differential equations on Hilbert spaces whose generating operators (drift, diffusion and jump kernels) are unknown. We introduce a class of function spaces and put a suitable topology on such spaces and prove existence of optimal generating operators from these spaces. We present also necessary conditions of optimality including an algorithm and its convergence whereby one can construct the optimal generators (drift, diffusion and jump kernel).

  • Stochastic response of systems to random excitation can be estimated by direct integration methods in the time domain such as the stochastic central difference method (SCDM). In this paper, the SCDM is applied to compute the variance and covariance in response of linear and nonlinear structures subjected to random excitation. The accuracy of the SCDM is assessed using two-DOF systems with both deterministic and random material properties excited by white noise. For the former case, closed-form solutions can be obtained. Numerical results also are presented for a simply supported geometrically nonlinear beam. The stiffness of this beam is modeled as a random field, and the beam is idealized by the stochastic finite element method. A perturbation technique is applied to formulate the equations of motion of the system, and the dynamic structural response statistics are obtained in a time domain analysis. The effect of variations in structural parameters and the numerical stability of the SCDM also are examined.

  • In this paper, we consider an optimal control problem of a nonlinear stochastic system. Dynamic programming approach is employed for the formulation of a stochastic optimal control problem. As an optimality condition, dynamic programming equation so called the Bellman equation is obtained, which seldom yields an analytical solution, even very difficult to solve numerically. We obtain the numerical solution of the Bellman equation using an algorithm based on the finite difference approximation and the contraction mapping method. Optimal controls are constructed through the solution process of the Bellman equation. We also construct a test case in order to investigate the actual performance of the algorithm.

  • Vessels stability problems need to resolve the nonlinear mathematical models of rolling motion. For nonlinear systems subjected to random excitations, there are very few special cases can obtain the exact solutions. In this paper, the specific differential equations of rolling motion for intact ship considering the restoring and damping moment have researched firstly. Then the partial stochastic linearization method is applied to study the response statistics of nonlinear ship rolling motion in beam seas. The ship rolling nonlinear stochastic differential equation is then solved approximately by keeping the equivalent damping coefficient as a parameter and nonlinear response of the ship is determined in the frequency domain by a linear analysis method finally.

  • 백색잡음 불규칙 과정으로 모델링된 난류형태의 유체운동에 의하여 가진되는 비선형 시스템의 특성과 제어기법에 대해 연구하였다. 고려된 물리적인 모델은 주질량과 끝단 집중질량을 갖는 보형태의 구조물이다. 그 지배방정식은 확률론적 관점에서 F-P-K 접근법으로 유도되었고, 비선형 해석법으로 Gaussian Closure방법을 이용하였다. 비선형 시스템의 제어기법으로는 슬라이딩 모드 제어기를 최초로 확률영역에서 설계하고 그 효과를 확률영역 및 시간영역에서 고찰하였다.

  • This article reviews various state estimation methods for nonlinear systems, particularly with a perspective of a process control engineer. Nonlinear state estimation methods can be classified into the following two categories: stochastic approaches and deterministic approaches. The current review compares the Bayesian approach, which is mainly a stochastic approach, and the MHE (Moving Horizon Estimation) approach, which is mainly a deterministic approach. Though both methods are reviewed, emphasis is given to the latter as it is particularly well-suited to highly nonlinear systems with slow sampling rates, which are common in chemical process applications. Recent developments in underlying theories and supporting numerical algorithms for MHE are reviewed. Thanks to these developments, applications to large-scale and complex chemical processes are beginning to show up but they are still limited at this point owing to the high numerical complexity of the method.

  • 본 논문은 비선형 확률 미분 방정식의 시뮬레이션 기법을 다루었다. Monte-Carlo 해를 이 시뮬레이션 기법에 적용하였다. 이 방법은 불규칙 해상의 선박에 대한 비선형 횡요 운동을 해석하는데 적용하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 방법의 유용성을 검증하기 위해서 시뮬레이션의 결과를 등가 선형화법과 등가 비선형화법의 결과와 비교하였다.

  • A method is developed for the detection of parametric change for conditionally-linear stochastic systems. Such systems are quite prevalent in biology, economics and engineering, and may be synthesized as certain bilinear stochastic systems with output feedback (possibly nonlinear) through the controls. In other words, these systems are linear in the "unmeasured states" and nonlinear in the "measured states." The conditionally linear filter developed by Kolodziej forms a convenient part of the algorithm which estimates the time of change of parameter values.
