제3전극에 의한 전계변화가 수중 전기물리화학적 특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Electric Field Variation by The Third Electrode on Water Electrophysicochemical Characteristics)

  • In this paper, after the third electrode type oxidant generator which could format non-uniform electric field in water had been manufactured and installed, by direct electrolysis, the effects of the hydrogen potential and oxidation reduction potential characteristics attendant upon electric field change on a higher concentration oxidant generation characteristics were investigated. Consequently, as the third electrode was installed in the middle of two slit electrodes and the polarity of applied power was changed, it was observed that the third electrode system with the positive electrode can generate a higher concentration oxidant, hydrogen potential and oxidation reduction potential as compared with that of the negative electrode. It is because the positive electrode was bombarded mostly energetic electrons and the negative electrode was bombarded mainly by less energetic positive ions.

  • Present article deals with the static stability analysis of compositionally graded nanocomposite beams reinforced with graphene oxide powder (GOP) is undertaken once the beam is subjected to an induced force caused by nonuniform magnetic field. The homogenized material properties of the constituent material are approximated through Halpin-Tsai micromechanical scheme. Three distribution types of GOPs are considered, namely uniform, X and O. Also, a higher-order refined beam model is incorporated with the dynamic form of the virtual work's principle to derive the partial differential motion equations of the problem. The governing equations are solved via Galerkin's method. The introduced mathematical model is numerically validated presenting a comparison between the results of present work with responses obtained from previous articles. New results for the buckling load of GOP reinforced nanocomposites are presented regarding for different values of magnetic field intensity. Besides, other investigations are performed to show the impacts of other variants, such as slenderness ratio, boundary condition, distribution type and so on, on the critical stability limit of beams made from nanocomposites.

  • Although many studies have been carried out about binary gas mixtures with $SF_6$, few studies were presented about breakdown characteristics of $SF_6/CF_4$ mixtures. At present study the breakdown characteristics of $SF_6/CF_4$ mixtures in non-uniform field was performed. The experiments were carried out under AC voltage and standard lightning impulse(SLI) voltage. Breakdown characteristics were investigated for $SF_6/CF_4$ mixtures when AC voltages and standard lighting impulse voltage was applied in a needle-plane. The needle-plane electrode whose gap distance was 3 mm were used in a test chamber. $SF_6/CF_4$ mixtures contained from 0 to 100% $SF_6$ and the experimental gas pressure ranged from 0.1 to 0.5 MPa. The breakdown characteristics of $SF_6/CF_4$ mixtures in non-uniform field may be influenced by defects like needle-shaped protrusions. In case of slowly rising SLI voltage and AC voltage it is enhanced by corona-stabilization. This phenomena caused by the ion drift during streamer development and the resulting space-charge is investigated. In non-uniform field under negative SLI voltage the breakdown voltage was increase linearly but under positive SLI voltage the breakdown voltage increase non-linearly. The breakdown voltage in needle-plane electrode displayed N shape characteristics for increasing the content of $SF_6$ at AC voltage. $SF_6/CF_4$ mixture has good dielectric strength and arc-extinguishing properties than pure SF6. This paper presents experimental results on breakdown characteristics for various mixtures of $SF_6/CF_4$ at practical pressures. We could make an environment friendly gas insulation material with maintaining dielectric strength by combing $SF_6\;and\;CF_4$ which generates a lower lever of the global warming effect.

  • In this paper, we developed 3 dimensional Surface Charge Method which could calculate electric fields inside GIS with a small void in solid insulator or with a metal impurity. We find a metal impurity makes much more non-uniform electric field distribution inside GIS than a small void. We also find electric field is much more increased when a metal impurity is close to solid insulator surface at high voltage conductor.

  • 비균일 자장이 도가니에 인가되어 있는 상황에서 정상상태의 Czochralski 유동장과 비정상상태의 산소농도장에 대한 연구가 수치해석적인 방법으로 연구되었다. 여기에서 기준 자장의 세기가 B=0.1T, 0.2T, 0.3T의 경우에 대한 연구가 수행되었다. 가열에 의한 부력의 효과와 자유표면의 표면장력에 의한 열모세관 효과에 의하여 유발되는 자오면 유동은 비균일 자장에 의하여 차등적으로 억제되고 있다. 자자의 세기가 증가하면 자오면 유동에서 발생하는 순환류의 중심은 결정으로 접근하며, 순환류의 크기도 작아진다. 결정으로 흡수되는 산소의 세기가 클수록 낮아지며 농도분포는 균일해지는 경향을 갖는다.

  • This paper presents a numerical investigation of the influences of various non-uniform tip clearances on the performance and flow field in a centrifugal compressor. Numerical simulations were conducted for three centrifugal compressor impellers in which the tip clearance height varied linearly from the leading edge to the trailing edge. The numerical result was compared with the experimental data for validation. Although the performance improved for low tip clearances, a smaller tip clearance at the trailing edge reduced the overall tip leakage flow more effectively than a smaller tip clearance at the leading edge. Therefore, a smaller tip clearance at the trailing edge lowered the mixing loss caused by interactions between the tip leakage flow and the main passage flow.

  • This paper addresses the control of free and dynamic response of composite rotating pretwisted blade modeled as non-uniform thin-walled beam fixed at the certain presetting and pretwisted angle and incorporating piezoelectric induced damping capabilities. A distributed piezoelectric actuator pair is used to suppress the vibrations caused by external disturbances. The blade model incorporates non-uniform features such as transverse shear, secondary warping and includes the centrifugal and Coriolis force field. A velocity feedback control law relating the piezoelectiriccally induced transversal bending moment at the beam tip with the appropriately selected kinematical response quantity is used and the beneficial effects upon the closed loop eigenvibration and dynamic characteristics of the blade are highlighted.

구심터빈의 노즐 내부 유동에 대한 시험 연구 (An Experimental Study on Flow in the Nozzle of a Radial Turbine)

  • Experimental study on the flow field inside the nozzle for radial turbine was performed. At design point, the pressure is high and the Mach number is low at the pressure side of the nozzle inlet semi-vaneless space as the flow turns through the nozzle vanes. As the flow accelerates through the nozzle passage to the throat the pressure level at the pressure and suction sides becomes similar. The flow continued accelerating from the throat to the inlet of turbine wheel and the pressure field became uniform in the circumferential direction in the vaneless space. In high expansion ratio condition, strong favorable pressure gradient band region occurred just after the throat in the semi-vaneless space in the circumferential direction and the pressure became uniform in the circumferential direction after this band. In low expansion ratio condition, core flow acceleration is dominant after the throat and this non-uniform pressure field reached to the inlet of turbine wheel.

비균일 100V 급 초접합 트랜치 MOSFET 최적화 설계 연구 (A Study on Optimal Design of 100 V Class Super-junction Trench MOSFET)

  • 전력 MOSFET(산화물-반도체 전위 효과 트랜지스터)는 BLDC 모터와 전력 모듈 등에 광범위하게 사용하고 있다. 기존 전력 MOSFET 구조는 온-저항과 항복전압사이에 절충(tradeoff)이 필요하다. 이러한 절충을 하지 않고 최적화를 하기위해 비균일 초접합 트랜치 MOSFET 를 설계하는데 동일한 항복전압에서 균일 초접합 트랜치 MOSFET보다 낮은 온-저항을 갖도록한다. 이를 위해 드리프트 영역에서 우수한 전기장 분포를 달성하기 위하여 선형구조의 도핑 프로파일을 제안하고, 단위 셀 설계, 도핑농도의 특성분석, 전위분포를 SILVACO TCAD 2D인 Atlas 소자 소프트웨어를 사용하여 시뮬에이션을 수행하였다. 결과로 100V 급 MOSFET에서 비균일 초접합 트랜치 MOSFET가 균일 초접합 트랜치 MOSFET보다 온-저항에서 우수한 특성을 보여주고 있다.
