고속철도 운행에 의한 진동전달특성 및 인접건물에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Transferring Vibration and Effect of Nearby-Building Induced by the High-speed Train in Operation)

  • The vibration induced by high speed train running on rail is dealt with as an environmental problem. The train induced vibration is characterized by moving loads at specific frequencies and soil conditions. In fact, it is predicted that the vibration sources are involved the wheel distance, number of cars, speed of operation, drift of rails, structural born vibration, etc. In this paper the characteristics of transferring vibration induced by the high-speed train in operation is discussed. Field measurements was conducted at region from Chungnam Yungj So-jung-myan to Chungbuk Chungwon hyun-do-myun. In the near future. these data will be used as the fundamental data for establishment of the countermeasure for vibrational reduction of high speed train using the results of the field measurements and quantitative prediction of the vibration level

민감한 전기전자기기의 전압외란에 대한 영향 최소화 연구 (A Research to Minimizing the Effect of Voltage Disturbances on Sensitive Electrical and Electronic Equipment)

  • 전압외란(voltage disturbances)에 대하여 민감함 전기전자기기가 받는 영향을 최소화하기 위한 방안으로 전력공급자측에서의 대책과 수용가기기에서의 대응책에 대하여 조사연구하였다. 전력공급자에서의 대책으로는 전압강하 시간의 단축에 대하여 검토하였는데, 효과와 경제성으로 보아 실현가능성이 적었다. 수용가기기에서의 대응책으로는 컴퓨터제어(computer control)와 자동화시스템(automated systems) 등에는 무정전 전원장치 또는 노이즈 서프레서(noise suppressor)나 파워콘디쇼너(power conditioners)를 설치하고, 전자개폐기는 지연석방형 전자개폐기를 채용하며, 가변속제어전동기에는 순간전압부하에 대한 대책이 고려된 제어회로를 채용하고, 고압방전등에는 순간재점등장치가 붙은 등기구를 채용하며, 부족전압계전기는 계전기의 정전시감을 연장하는 방안과 순간정전시에는 자동으로 재투입하는 sequence를 구성하는 방법등이 효과적인 대책으로 검토되었다.

Mahalanobis Taguchi System을 이용한 사출 공정의 최적설계 (Optimal Design of Injection Molding Process using the Mahalanobis Taguchi System)

  • Warpage is a major defect frequently found in the injection molding process, and the reduction of warpage is a very challenging problem because of the uncontrollable factors, such as variations in the process parameters. Without any countermeasure against these noises, attempts to reduce the defects often lead to failure. In this research, a new robust design methodology, based on the Mahalanobis Taguchi System (MTS) to reduce warpage, is presented. The MTS performs the orthogonal array experiments and uses the signal-to-noise (SN) ratio of the Mahalanobis distance as a performance metric. The validity of the proposed method is illustrated through an optimal design of the injection molding process of a CPU base plate.

지하철 운행에 따른 진동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristics of Vibration Induced by Subway Operation)

  • In this paper the characteristics of vibration induced by subway trains running on track is discussed. The quantitative prediction of the vibration level and the countermeasure for reduction of necessary, is of importance for the better environment. It was made the constructed Bundang line as first step with the modified Young-Dan type to basis on the Japanese Young-Dan type. In this paper it was measured and analyzed to two region ($ \circled1$Susuh-Bokjung. $ \circled2$Chorim-Suhyun region) of this. at present, operational Bundang line when averaging velocity of train is 60 (km/h). As the response characteristics of frequency Induced by subway operation, it was confirmed that frequency band of neighborhood of 30~80 Hz in generally dominant. Also to assess the quantitative nitration as response level to be measured for each point of two region in subway operation, the vibrational response level was measured at the state to be not subway operation. And the level was approximately $\fraction one-fifth~\fraction one-ten$ level comparing to subway operation.

터널 주행속도 향상을 위한 고속열차 전두부 형상 최적화 (Nose Shape Optimization of the High-Speed Train for the Speed-up in Tunnel)

  • The next generation of Korean high-speed train under development will be designed for the maximum operating speed of 350km/h and maximum speed of 400km/h. This high-speed operation may cause the noise and vibration problems around tunnel exit due to the higher micro-pressure wave than present level. In this study, the nose shape optimization was conducted for the countermeasure against these problems. Axi-symmetric solver was used for numerical simulation, and response surface was used for efficiency of optimization process. Also the multi-step optimization was conducted to find out more accurate optimal shape. Through these analysis and optimization, it was found out that the optimal nose shapes for minimization of micro-pressure wave are definitely different along the nose length variation. And the mechanism of micro-pressure wave reduction was closely investigated by the analysis of generation process of compression wave in tunnel. The results are expected to be used as design guideline for performance improvement of the next generatin of Korean high-speed train.

철도신호시스템 중첩운영으로 인한 전자파장해현상 분석 및 대책 (Analysis of EMI Between Overlapped Railway Signalling Systems and Its Countermeasure)

  • ATS(Automatic Train Stop) system makes train stop when it runs over the speed limit and ensure the safe operation of train. Seoul Metro line 2 in Korea, which started its passenger service in 1982, has adopted ATS system for its signaling system. The ATS system has only a train stop function at the time of emergency, and Seoul Metro is planning to replaced them with ATC(Automatic Train Control)/ATO(Automatic Train Operation) system which can provide the dedicated speed control for headway reduction and automatic operation of train. Until all the ATS system is replaced with the new ATC system, both systems are to operate simultaneously at the same metro line. In this situation, ATS system sometimes reveals improper operation: train stops suddenly without any obstacles in front of it. These emergency stops cause interruption of passenger service, and abnormal abrasion of wheels and rail. This paper makes it clear that these interruptions are caused by EMI phenomena between ATS on-board device and ATC wayside device : Signal current flowing in AF track circuit of ATC is turn out to be a EMI source that prevent normal operation of the ATS on-board device. Although the two systems have different frequency-ranges (ATS system has frequency range between $78{\sim}130$[kHz] and ATC system has frequency range between $9.5{\sim}16.5$[kHz]), it turned out that EMI phenomena appears between the both systems. This is investigated by measuring the output signal from ATS on-board device passing over ATC wayside device. The FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) analysis of the signal reveals that AF track circuit signal is transmitted to the ATS on-board device and induce noise causing improper operation. The countermeasures to the EMI phenomena are examined in three ways; blocking EMI transmission, enforcement of EMS (Electromagnetic Susceptibility) of ATS on-board device, and blocking the EMI source. It is suggested that the practical solution be blocking EMI source temporarily, that is breaking AF track circuit signal when the trains with ATS on-board device pass over it. To this purpose, TODS(Train Occupation Detection System) is developed, and has made a success in preventing the EMI problem of Seoul Metro line 2.
