역문제를 이용한 음향장내의 소음해석 (The Analysis of Noise using of Inverse Problem in Acoustic Field)

  • This paper is concerned with a analysis of noise by inverse problem available for analyzing the two and three-dimensional acoustic field problems. The noise of analysis considered in this study can be reduced to an optimum problem to find the optimal set of parameters defining the vibrating state of noise source surfaces. The optimal set of parameters are searched by the standard optimization procedure minimizing the square sum of the residuals between the measured and computed quantities of sound pressure at some points in the acoustic field. Computation is carried out for typical examples in which the noise sources are located on the infinite plane. It is demonstrated that the noise of analysis can be effectively made by using the sensitive reference data.

  • Conventional techniques for solving the noise problem have problems to generate different results, depending on the image size and weight values of the used masks, and they require many operations by using a complex formula. In this paper, we propose an image enhancement algorithm to solve the noise problem in a simple, yet easy-to-use way. For this purpose, we determined the difference between the noise of the two adjacent pixels for the horizontal and vertical, and for the two diagonal directions that each of the noise problem occurred, and then we got the average value of these pixel values. Then, we solve the noise problem by using the optimal average value in accordance with occurrence of the noise in the horizontal and vertical, and two adjacent pixels in a diagonal direction. As a result, we got the result that the noise solution in a simple, yet easy-to-use method to obtain a resultant image.

  • This paper studies an active noise controller in a communication headset. The system is a two inputs(communication signal and noise signal) and single output(error signal) system. The problem is to reduce noise level sufficiently lower than communication signal to receive the communication signal clearly. The approach to this problem is in two steps. In the first step, we solve the noise rejection problem without communication signals. In this step, the problem is transformed to the robust H$_{\infty}$ regulating problem and solved using Linear Matrix Inequalities. In the second step, communication signal is introduced to the system, To verify the performance of the designed controller, a couple of experiments are performed..

  • A psychoacoustic model based noise shaping method is proposed, where noise's presence with a host signal will not be perceptually noticeable. The derivation of imperceptible noise levels from the masking thresholds of the signal involves a deconvolution associated with the spreading function in the psychoacoustic model, which results in an ill-conditioned problem. In this paper, the problem is formulated as a constrained optimization, and it is demonstrated that the solution provides noise shaping where the noise excitation level conforms to the masking thresholds of the signal.

  • A severe noise in industrial field can be sometimes generated from unexpected installation error and misunderstanding of industrial machinery. To solve the noise problem, the diagnostic tool is generally applied to identify the noise source and to detect the fault of machinery. And then, the suitable control countermeasure corresponding to the diagnostic results is presented.   • Increasing population in the cities, it has been demanded that urban planner should consider environmental problem. In this regard compact city has been strongly suggested as an environmental urban form which can reduce energy consumption. However, compact city can also cause noise problem, because residential buildings have to be located near roads and railways. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary for urban planner to examine the types of roads and railways before they are established. Noise map is able to be useful tool for the task.

  • An application of scroll compressor to the residential air conditioning and heat pump markets has generated many reliability problem, especially abnormal noise. Most of these noise problems is due to the check valve and compliance between FS(Fixed Scroll) and OS(Orbiting Scroll). FS and OS are the main parts of scroll compressor and are the main pumping part. But check valve has the role of protection of reverse rotation of OS when power is off. Check valve have several noise problems. Among them, shut down noise and valve movement noise is more than severe than any other problem. In this paper covers with these two noise problem.

Convergence Analysis of Noise Robust Modified AP(affine projection) Algorithm

  • According to increasing projection order, the AP algorithm bas noise amplification problem in large background noise. This phenomenon degrades the performances of the AP algorithm. In this paper, we analyze convergence characteristic of the AP algorithm and then suggest a noise robust modified AP algorithm for reducing this problem. The proposed algorithm normalizes the update equation to reduce noise amplification of AP algorithm, by adding the multiplication of error power and projection order to auto-covariance matrix of input signal. By computer simulation, we show the improved performance than conventional AP algorithm.

  • Noise problem that occurs on the road is raising a lot of problems in the economic, social and environmental aspects. The objective of this paper is to propose ANC(active noise cancellation)-based road traffic noise reduction algorithm-model which can reduce noise by generating frequency opposed to noise sources to improve and complement the problem that existing physical form of a noise barrier. In this paper, we measured the noise characteristic from collection of two difference car noise also ANC simulation has been performed by using road traffic noises input. In order to compare the control performance, we performed noise reduction simulation of ANC by filtered-X LMS algorithm and delayed control signal injection. As a result of this simulation, we confirmed that convergence performance and noise decrease effect to the filtered-X LMS algorithm by inputting the road traffic noise.
