  • IPv6 is newly introduced to solve limitations and problems of IPv4 and in IPv6 network, nodes use Neighbor Discovery protocol to discover the subnet prefix and configure its own address. However, Neighbor Discovery is vulnerable to various attacks as it does not have secure mechanism to protect itself. Thus, the Secure Neighbor Discovery has introduced and the main mechanism used in Secure Neighbor Discovery is Cryptographically Generated Address. In this paper, we provide a brief of Cryptographically Generated Address and its limitation in a case where a mobile node moves from one network to another frequently. The proposed scheme resolves this limitation by using the fixed interface identifier.

  • Ad-hoc network is soft wireless communication network that is consisted of mobile node and clusters without helping of infrastructure. We propose a new ad hoc multicast routing protocol for based on the ontology scheme called inference network. Ontology knowledge-based is one of the structure of context-aware. Proposed structure is consisted of context awareness parameters as like distance between each nodes. The proposed architecture performs two types of routing discovery. One is Flooding Discovery Routing(FDR) for comparing analysis step and Local Discovery Routing(LDR) to compose path of node forecast(preservation) step from node's state value. The inference network structure of proposed RODMRP(Resilient Ontology-based Dynamic Multicast Routing Protocol) adopts a tree structure to enhance an efficient packet in various environment between mobile node. We will have developed an algorithm that will desist multi-hierarchy Layered networks to simulate a desired system.

  • All active nudes which have no physically direct connection with each other in If network must be able to compose and manage network topology Informations. Besides one active program can be performed by the active nodes when every active packet for this program is transmitted without any loss of packets. Also the active packets should be transmitted effectively to minimize the transmission delay and securely from threatens. In this thesis, the discovery scheme of active nodes is adapted for active nodes in IP networks to compose and manage the topology information. The scheme for the efficient, reliable and secure transmission of active packets is also proposed. The sequence number is assigned to every active packet. If a receiver detects the loss of active packet checking the sequence number, the receiver requests the retransmission of the lost packet to the previous active node. kiter receiving an active packet and adapting security and reliability schemes, intermediate active nodes not only copy and send the Packet Instantly but also apply some suity mechanisms to it. And the active packet transmission engine is proposed to provide these transmission schemes The simulation of the adapted active node discovery scheme and the proposed active packet transmission engine is performed. The simulation results show that the adapted active node discovery scheme is efficient and the proposed active engine has the low latency and the high performance.

  • XML message brokers have a lot of importance because XML has become a practical standard for data exchange in many applications. Message brokers covered in this document store many users. This paper is a study of the processing of twig pattern queries in XML documents using branching node streams in XML message broker structures. This work is about query processing in XML documents, especially for query processing with XML twig patterns in the XML message broker structure and proposed a method to reduce query processing time when parsing documents with XML twig patterns by processing information. In this paper, the twig pattern query processing method of documents using the branching node stream removes the twigging value of the branch node that does not include the labeling value of the branch node stream when it receives a twig query from the client. In this paper, the leaf node discovery time can be reduced by reducing the navigation time of nodes in XML documents that are matched to leaf nodes in twig queries for client twig queries. Overall, the overall processing time to respond to queries is reduced, allowing for rapid question-answer processing.

  • In the ad-hoc mode of IEEE 802.11 standard, beacon is used for power control and network alarming between each node, and also it is for the synchronization in controlling network as PCF. However beacon is also used to inform the neighbor nodes of itself except for original purpose in the environment of IEEE 802.11s. For this, the existing beacon's transmission mechanism can't perform a function in full. In this paper, we suggest much faster neighbor discovery reducing network congestion caused by beacon through modification of beacon transmission mechanism. And we will show that suggesting algorithm more faster full neighbor discovery than traditional neighbor discovery using for IEEE 802.11 through simulation and test in real ad-hoc network.

  • In mobile ad hoc networks, service discovery to search for an available service is an important issue. In this paper, we propose an efficient service discovery protocol that is combined a dht-based service discovery scheme and a P2P caching-based information spreading scheme. Proposed scheme store key information in hashed zone and search services using it's information. To search quickly a service, it use its physical neighbors information which collected by 1-hop hello message between a node and its physical neighbors. We do not use a central look up server and do not rely on flooding. Hence, it uniquely balanced all node's load in mobile ad hoc networks and reduced the number of messages exchanged, network load and response time. The simulation results show that our protocol outperforms DHT-based and flooding protocols.

  • Mobile Ad hoc networking is an emerging technology and in these days many applications are being developed to run on these networks. In these networks lookup services are very important because all nodes do not have same resources in term of memory and computing power. Nodes need to use different services offered by different servers. Reliable and efficient scheme should be available for lookup services due to limited bandwidth and low computing power of devices in mobile ad hoc networks. Due to mobility and rapid change in network topology, lookup mechanism used in wired network is not appropriate. Service discovery mechanism can be divided into two main categories Centralized and Distributed. Centralized mechanism is not reliable as there is no central node in these networks. Secondly centralized mechanism leads toward single point failure. We can handle the service discovery mechanism by distributing server's information to each node. But this approach is also not appropriate due to limited bandwidth and rapid change in network. In this paper, we present reliable lookup service scheme which is based on distributed mechanism. We are not using replication approach as well due to low bandwidth of wireless networks. In this scheme service discovery mechanism will be handled through different lookup servers. Reliability is the key feature of our proposed scheme.

  • In randomly deployed networks, such as sensor networks, an important problem for each node is to discover its neighbor nodes so that the connectivity amongst nodes can be established. In this paper, we consider this problem by incorporating the physical layer parameters in contrast to the most of the previous work which assumed a collision channel. Specifically, the pilot signals that nodes transmit are successfully decoded if the strength of the received signal relative to the interference is sufficiently high. Thus, each node must extract signal parameter information from the superposition of an unknown number of received signals. This problem falls naturally in the purview of random set theory (RST) which generalizes standard probability theory by assigning sets, rather than values, to random outcomes. The contributions in the paper are twofold: First, we introduce the realistic effect of physical layer considerations in the evaluation of the performance of logical discovery algorithms; such an introduction is necessary for the accurate assessment of how an algorithm performs. Secondly, given the double uncertainty of the environment (that is, the lack of knowledge of the number of neighbors along with the lack of knowledge of the individual signal parameters), we adopt the viewpoint of RST and demonstrate its advantage relative to classical matched filter detection method.

  • Mobile Ad hoc NETworks (MANETs) refer to autonomous networks in which wireless data communications are established between multiple nodes in a given coverage area without a base station or centralized administration. Because of node mobility and limited battery life, the network topology may changes frequently. Selecting the most reliable path during route discovery process is important to improve performance in ad hoc networks. In this paper, an enhanced routing protocol based on AODV(Ad hoc On-demand Distance Vector routing) by monitoring variation of receiving signal strength is proposed. New metric function that consists of node mobility and hops of path is used for routing decision. For preventing route failure by node movement during data transmission, a new route maintenance named as LRC (Local Route Change) is presented. If the node movement is detected, the routing agent switches path to its neighbor node in LRC. Simulation results show that the performance of the proposed routing scheme is superior to previous AODY protocol.

  • In opportunistic networks, it is difficult to predict when a node encounters others and how long it keeps in contact with another. Nodes continually attempt to explore neighbor nodes in the vicinity to transmit data. In battery-operated devices, this persistent exploration consumes a great deal of energy. In this paper, we propose an optimal energy-efficient neighbor discovery scheme (OPEED) that guarantees neighbor discovery within a delay bound. Through performance evaluation, we show that the OPEED scheme consumes 33%-83% less energy than other schemes.
