합성수용액의 Preheating 시간을 변화시켜 수열합성법으로 성장시킨 산화아연 나노선 (ZnO Nanowires Grown by Hydrothermal Synthesis Using Synthesis Solution Prepared with Various Preheating Time)

  • ZnO nanowires were synthesized by hydrothermal technique. Prepared synthesis aqueous solutions were preserved by preheating in autoclave type synthesis equipment with various preheating time of 1 h difference. ITO-coated corning glass substrates deposited with AZO seed layers were then inserted in the preheated synthesis aqueous solutions and ZnO nanowires were grown for 180 min at $90^{\circ}C$. Density, length and aspect ratio of the grown ZnO nanowires were investigated. Composition, structural and optical properties of the grown ZnO nanowires were analyzed. Characteristics of the ZnO nanowires were comparatively studied in relation with $Zn^{2+}$ ion concentration measured directly after the preheating of synthesis aqueous solution.

액상씨드의 열처리조건에 따라 합성된 나노와이어의 특성변화

  • 나노선의 합성을 위해 필요한 씨드는 기상증착에 경우 값비싼 공정 비용이 요구되지만 액상의 경우 저렴하고 공정이 단순하며 단시간에 공정이 용의하고 대면적이 가능하다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 우리는 zinc acetate, ethylene glycol monoethylethe(C3H8O2), Monoethanolamine을 일정한 비율로 혼합하여 ZnO 나노와이어 합성에 필요한 액상씨드를 만든 후 이것을 기판위에 증착하기 위해 수차례에 걸쳐 스핀코팅을 하였다. 스핀코팅후 퍼니스와 핫플레이트를 이용하여 Soft bake, Hard bake 공정을 통해 각각 열처리 한후 XRD 를 통한 결정성과 방향성 그리고 AFM을 통한 표면거칠기를 관찰하였고 또한 수열합성법을 통하여 제작한 씨드를 기반으로 하는 ZnO 나노와이어를 합성하여 각각의 열처리 조건에 따른 나노와이어의 특성변화를 관찰하였고 향후 나노기반 소자의 적용가능성을 확인하였다.

  • In the case of synchronous machines, certain power system disturbances cause the induced rotor current to assume negative values when no static converter is present. A converter, however. prevents negative current from flowing, so that overvoltages occur. The overvoltages can be effectively limited as crowbar circuit using GTO. This newly proposed crowbar circuit with current limiting resistor absorbs energy when overvoltage comes from power system repeatedly and is verified through experiment.

  • Most of the eigenvalue analysis methods for the undamped or proportionally damped systems use the well-known Sturm sequence property to check the missed eigenvalues when only a set of the lowest modes is to be used for large structures. However, in the case of the non-proportionally damped systems such as the soil-structure interaction system, the structural control system and the composite structures, no counterpart of the Sturm sequence property for undamped systems has been developed yet. Hence, when some important modes are missed for those systems, it may leads to poor results in dynamic analysis. In this paper, a technique for calculating the number of eigenvalues inside the open disk of arbitrary radius for the eigenproblem with the damping matrix is proposed by applying Chen's algorithm and Gleyse's theorem. To verify the applicability of the proposed method, two numerical examples are considered.

지방자치단체 교통사고통합지수 개발방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Traffic Accident Merging Index for Local Governments)

  • Traffic Accident Merging Index (TAMI) is developed for TMACS (Traffic Safety Information Management Complex System). TAMI is calculated by combining 'Severity Index' and 'Frequency'. The existing indexes are Traffic deaths per 100,000 population, Traffic deaths per 100,000 inhabitants/per billion veh-km, etc. However, there is no consistency in using them among local governments, so it can create confusion. Moreover, the index level is too complicated to understand. Therefore, this study suggests new traffic safety index, TAMI. It will work to improve the weaknesses and present accurate status of traffic safety in local governments.

상수관망 데이터 수집의 최적 빈도 결정을 위한 방법론적 접근 (Methodology for determining optimal data sampling frequencies in water distribution systems)

  • Currently, there is no definitive regulation for the appropriate frequency of data sampling in water distribution networks, yet it plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of these systems. This study proposes a new methodology for determining the optimal frequency of data acquisition in water distribution networks. Based on the decomposition of signals using harmonic series, this methodology has been validated using actual data from water distribution networks. By analyzing 12 types of data collected from two points, it was demonstrated that utilizing the factors and cumulative periodograms of harmonic series enables similar accuracy at lower data acquisition frequencies compared to the original signals.   • NaOAC·3H₂O 존재 하에서, manganese nitrate(Mn(NO₃)₂·H₂O )와 imidzole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid(IDCH₂)가 수열반응하여, 실험식 [Mn(IDC)(H₂O)]을 가지는 2차원 배위고분자 합성되었다. 화합물 1의 구조가 분광학적 방법(IR) 및 X-ray 회절법으로 규명되었다. 화합물의 1의 결정학적 자료: 사방정계 공간군 Pbca, a=7.257(5) Å b=13.687(5)Å, c=14.332(6)Å Z=8, R(wR₂)=0.0498(0.0999).

  • We report on the successful fabrication of ZnO nanorod (NR)/polystyrene (PS) nanosphere hybrid nanostructure by combining drop coating and hydrothermal methods. Especially, by adopting an atomic layer deposition method for seed layer formation, very uniform ZnO NR structure is grown on the complicated PS surfaces. By using zinc nitrate hexahydrate $[Zn(NO_3)_2{\cdot}6H_2O]$ and hexamine $[(CH_2)_6N_4]$ as sources for Zn and O in hydrothermal process, hexagonal shaped single crystal ZnO NRs are synthesized without dissolution of PS in hydrothermal solution. X-ray diffraction results show that the ZnO NRs are grown along c-axis with single crystalline structure and there is no trace of impurities or unintentionally formed intermetallic compounds. Photoluminescence spectrum measured at room temperature for the ZnO NRs on flat Si and PS show typical two emission bands, which are corresponding to the band-edge and deep level emissions in ZnO crystal. Based on these structural and optical investigations, we confirm that the ZnO NRs can be grown well even on the complicated PS surface morphology to form the chestnut-shaped hybrid nanostructures for the energy generation and storage applications.

  • 피리딘 존재 하에서 zinc(II) nitrate $(Zn(NO_3)_2{\cdot}6H_2O)$$1,3-BDCH_2\;(1,3-BDC=1,3-benzenedicarboxylate)$의 수열, 용매 반응으로 1차원 배위 고분자 $[Zn_4(1,3- BDC)_3({\mu}_4-O)\; (pyridine)_2]$ (1)이 얻어졌다. X-ray구조 결정 결과,고분자 1이 4중 가교 산소 리간드를 갖고 있음이 밝혀졌다. 고분자 1는 2개의 띠로 구성되어 있으며, 각 띠는 1,3-BDC 리간드에 의해서 단위체들이 연결되어 된다.

  • [ $Ba(Mg_{1/3}Ta_{2/3})O_3$ ] nanoparticles were synthesized in water solution under mild temperature and pressure conditions by precipitation from $Ba(NO_3),\;Mg(NO_3)_2{\cdot}6H_2O\;and\;TaCl_5$ with aqueous potassium hydroxide. The average size and distribution of the synthesized $Ba(Mg_{1/3}Ta_{2/3})O_3$ nanoparticles were below 100 nm and broad, respectively. The phase of synthesized particles was crystalline reacted at $170^{\circ}C$ for 4 h. The characterization of $Ba(Mg_{1/3}Ta_{2/3})O_3$ nanoparticles were studied using XRD, SEM, and TEM.
