소비자의 광고판별능력과 관련요인에 관한 연구 -기만광고판별을 중심으로- (A Study on Consumers' Advertising Discriminatory Competencies and the Related Factors)

  • This study focuses on consumers' advertising discriminatory competencies and the influencing facors. So the objects of this study are as follows : 1) to identify the overall level of advertising discriminatory competencies. 2) to examine if consumer attitude variables have significant effects on the ads. discriminatory competenceis. 3) to examine if the frequencies of contacting advertising variable have significant effects on the ads. discriminatory competencies. 4) to examine if socio-economics variables-age, educational level, monthly family income, occupational status-have significant effects on the ads. discriminatory competencies. 5) to find out the independent influence of variables related to the ads. discriminatory competencies. For this purpose, a survey was conducted using questionaires and advertisement papers. The data used in this study included 194 Homemakers living in Seoul. The ads. used in this study included ads. of diary products like foods, drinks, medicine, cosmetic, detergent in TV, radio, newspaper and magagine. Statistics were Frequency Distribution, Mean, percentile, ANOVA, Scheff -test, Pearsons' Correlation, Multiple Regrassion Analysis. Major findings were as follows : First, in 26 items(70%) of 37 items measured consumers' ads. discriminatory competencies, the rate of right answer was below 50%, so over the half of consumers were misleaded by the deceptive ads. Second, consumers' ads. discriminatory competencies differed significantly according to consumer attitude variables but no according to the frequency of contacting advertising. Third, according to socio-demographic variables-age, educational level, monthly family income, occupational status-advertising discriminatory competencies differed significantly. In group of lower age, higher educational level, higher income and professional occupation status, the level of ads. discriminatory competencies were high. Forth, the most influencing variabel on ads. disciriminatory competencies were eudcational level and in turn general attitude toward ads., attitude toward consumerism. This three variables explain 22.9% of dependent variable's variance. From these findings, the following suggestions are made, First, the consumer education offering informations and learing practical ads. discriminatory competencies should be conducted for all consumers wheather they are educated or not. Also the education to improve the consumer attitude must be. Second, considering misleading level, the business must make the regulatory standards and reinforce the regulation voluntarily, and by enforcing the regulation of ads. and deciding more diverse, objective and exact standards, the government should keep the consumer's right to know.

대한제국이후 광복이전까지의 모자에 관한 연구(1897-1945) - 신문광고를 중심으로 - (A Study of the Headgear from the Greater Korean Empire to the Time of Independence (1897-1945) - Focused on the Newspapers -)

  • This study focuses on the hats in the advertisements of the newspapers from the Greater Korean Empire to the Time of Independence. There were Yeomo(禮帽), Jungsanmoja(中山帽子), Jungjeolmoja(中折帽子), Women's hat, Undongmoja(運動帽子), and Hakdomoja(學徒帽子) from 1897 to the 1900s. The names of the hats were written with Chinese characters as there was no specific name for women's hats. There were a lot of hats in the 1910s; Jungjeolmoja, Jungsanmoja, Hukyeomoja(黑禮帽子), Panama, Doriuchi(鳥打;とり-うち), Maggomo(麥程帽), Ilkyomoja(一交字帽), cheongyeonmo(靑年帽), Jajacheongyeonmo(刺子靑年帽), Hakaaksangmo(學生帽), Undongmo, Laparyunmoja, Banghanmo(防寒帽), Mokchulmo(目出帽), Pungbangi(風防耳), Nambaui, and Pungdongi(風憧耳). Most of the hats were western hats for men. From the 1920s to 1930s, the hats were classified as to the shape and uses as compared to before that period. The hats were advertised in the newspapers such as Jungjeolmoja, Jungsanmoja, Panama, Doriuchimo, Maggomo, Ilkyomoja, cheongyeonmo, Jajacheongyeonmo, Hakaaksangmo, Undongmo, Banghanmo, Mokchulmo(目出帽), Adongmokchulmo(兒童目出帽), Pungdongi, and Pungchasamsangun(風遮三山巾). There is little information about hats from the late 1930s to the time of independence because of the censorship of the press. The hats during that period were almost the same as the before that time. There was a new name of a cap, Jeontumoja(戰鬪帽子) which was for a soldier. The hats in that period were one of the westernized items with shoes before the westernization of the Korean costume under Japanese imperialism. Furthermore, the western hats could be spread by the men who were in the center of the society. On the other hand, women's western hats were not common because women had rarely worn them before that period. They just wore traditional winter caps steadily.

Recruitment and enrollment in a randomized clinical trial of mandibular two-implant overdenture

  • PURPOSE. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a promotion campaign for subject recruitment and selection, and reasons of withdrawal from a prospective clinical trial of mandibular two-implant supported overdenture. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The subjects of this study were participants in a randomized controlled clinical trial for investigating prognosis of implants and overdentures with attachments. Recruited subjects were classified by gender, age, and participation motives. Withdrawal rate of the participants before and after enrollment were evaluated. RESULTS. 177 patients were recruited and 51 patients were enrolled for the trial. Among them, 40 participants eventually took part in the trial. 116 subjects (65.5%) were recruited by advertisement and 61 (34.5%) were referred by patients of the hospital or local clinics. Regarding recruitment effectiveness, newspaper recruited the largest number of participants. With respect to referral patients, the proportion of our hospital patients was higher (37/61). Subjects in their 70s comprised the largest proportion (22/51). The male to female ratio was similar (25:26). Final withdrawal rate of all subjects were 74.0%. Among the reasons for withdrawal from enrollment (n=126) presence of remaining teeth and lack of motivation were the most common reasons. CONCLUSION. To facilitate recruitment of clinical trial subjects and improve enrollment rate, it is important to obtain a sufficient number of researchers, perform promotion activity with diverse strategies, cooperate with local dentists, increase the research funding, and alleviate subjects' fear against clinical trials by thorough consultation.

해방기 출간 <아협 그림얘기책>에 관한 연구 (A Study on the published in the Liberation Period)

  • 본 연구는 해방기에 출간되었던 <아협 그림얘기책>시리즈를 대상으로 당시 출판 현전본의, 현황, 체제 및 발행 분석, 삽도화가 분석을 통해 <아협 그림얘기책>의 발행을 비롯하여 체제, 형태, 내용에 대해 심도 있게 살펴보았다. 을유문화사와 조선아동문화협회 (아협)에서 어린이의 생활 해방과 아동문화 건설을 위해 출간한 <아협 그림얘기책> 시리즈는 현재 5책이 남아 있다. 미전본은 당시 발행되었던 신문에 실린 광고 기사를 토대로 책들의 출판 이력을 확인하였다. 현전본을 대상으로 분석한 결과, 표지 권수(卷首) 본문 권말(卷末)의 체제로 동일하게 구성되었으며, 본문에는 그림이야기 형식의 3컷 만화와 이야기로 이루어진 특징을 보였다. 책의 크기는 A5 판형, 분량은 대체로 32면이며 반양장의 장정 형태로 발행되었다. 삽화가로는 당대에 미술 분야에서 활약을 했던 김용환, 김의환 형제가 참여했다.

Research on analysis of articleable advertisements and design of extraction method for articleable advertisements using deep learning

  • 기사성광고의 필요성과 긍정적인면도 존재하나, 일부 무분별한 '기사성 광고'로 인하여 과장되고 위장된 정보를 전달함에 따라 독자들은 일반기사와 기사성 광고의 구별이 어려움에 따라 많은 정보의 오인과 혼란을 하고 있다. 독자들은 앞으로도 계속 새로운 정보를 획득하고 이러한 정보를 적재적소에 적용하여 많은 가치를 가져와야 하기에, 정확한 일반기사와 기사성 광고를 식별하는 것이 더욱이 중요하다고 판단된다. 따라서 일반기사와 기사성 광고의 구별된 정보를 필요로 하기에, 이러한 일환으로, 인터넷신문에서 이러한 무분별한 기사성 광고로 인한 정확한 정보식별의 어려움이 많은 독자들을 위해, 본 논문에서는 IT기술과 AI기술을 접목한 시스템측면에서 해결할 수 있는 방법을 제시하고자 하였으며, 이러한 방법은 광고성 키워드를 찾아내어 정제해주는 지식기반 자연어처리 방법과 딥러닝기술을 이용한 기사성 광고를 추출하고자 설계 하였다.

알레르기 비염 환자에 대한 압봉치료의 임상효과 연구;증상과 삶의 질을 중심으로 (Clinical Study on the Effect of Moxa-pellet Treatment in Allergic Rhinitis Patients)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to evaluate the clinical effect of Moxa-Pellet treatment for nasal symptoms and quality of life(QOL) in patients with allergic rhinitis. Methods: Subjects were voluntarily recruited through newspaper and internet advertisement. In this randomized, single blind and controlled study, experimental group (n=19) received real Moxa-Pellet treatment and control group(n=20) received sham Moxa-Pellet treatment for 3 weeks. Acupuncture points used were $LI_4$, $ST_{36}$, $LU_7$, $GV_{14}$ and $GB_{20}$. Patient's nasal symptoms and QOL were assessed before and after 3 weeks treatment by the Nasal Symptom Scores(NSS) and the Medical Outcomes Study 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey(SF-36). Results : The results were as follows; 1. Among items of NSS, Sneezing' Rhinorrhea' Itching scores and Total Nasal Symptom Scores(TNSS) were significantly improved in experimental group after 3 weeks Moxa- Pellet treatment(p<0.05). In control group, there was no significant difference in all items except Headache item of NSS. 2. Among 8 domains of SF- 36, experimental group showed significant difference in Role-Emotional(RE), Mental Health(MH) and Bodily Pain(Bp) after 3 weeks Moxa- Pellet treatment(p<0.05). Control group showed no significant difference in all domains except one domain(Role limitation-physical). Conclusions: These results suggest that Moxa-Pellet treatment can be applicable to improve nasal symptoms and QOL in the patients with allergic rhinitis. Further long tenn studies on the Moxa-Pellets treatment's sustaining power and safety is needed.

체질에 따른 침치료가 특발성 파킨슨 환자의 심박변이도에 미치는 영향 (The Comparative Study on the Effect of Constitution-dependent Acupuncture Treatment for Idiopathic Parkinson's Disease on Heart Rate Variability)

  • Objectives : This study was designed to evaluate the effect of acupuncture on Heart Rate Variability(HRV) of patients with Parkinson's disease. Methods: Subjects were voluntarily recruited through newspaper and internet advertisement. All the subjects were confirmed as idiopathic Parkinson's disease by a neurologist. Patients were divided into three groups. Experimental group was acupunctured based on Sasang Constitution. Standard group was acupunctured on $LR_3$, $GB_{34}$ and $ST_{36}$. Control group was sham-acupunctured. Acupuncture was applied 2 times a week for four weeks by an oriental medical doctor at Kyung-hee Oriental Medical Hospital. The patients were assessed by HRV before and 4 weeks after the treatment. Results : The results were as follows 1. In experimental group, increase in SDNN, TP, LF, HF Nonn were statistically significant after 4 weeks compared to the pre-treatment. 2. In standard group, increase in SDNN, TP, LF were statistically significant after 4 weeks compared to the pre-treatment. 3. After 4 weeks of treatment SDNN, LF showed statistically significant cufferences among three groups. Conclusions : This study suggests that acupuncture treatment based on Sasang Constitution and other specific acupuncture treatment can be beneficial for patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease. Further study on various acupuncture treatment for Parkinson's disease is required.

시간제 간호사 및 인턴간호사의 직무만족도에 관한 비교연구 (Comparative Study on the Job Satisfaction of Part-time Nurses and Internship Nurses)

  • Recently, Korean health care industry managers are paying more attention to customer oriented service, the rationalization of business administration, and quality control of service to adjust their business to outer environment since IMF bailout program. They are focusing on the cost reduction through remodeling the size and structure of man power, viz. labor flexibility. Nurses are not free from this juncture and contingent nurses are increasing fast. This article intends to verify the actual condition of two types of contingent nurses -part-time nurses and internship nurses-and to compare their job satisfaction to provide basic resource for efficient management of nurse man power. The concrete goals of this article are; Firstly, to verify the actual condition of their employment. Secondly, to compare their job satisfaction. And Thirdly, to the relation between employment condition and job satisfaction. To accomplish these research goals, a statistical survey was executed, in which 384 questionnaires - 66 for manager nurses, 318 for contingent nurses-were given to nurses working at 66 general hospitals-which have at least 100 beds-in Seoul. Among them, 121 questionnaires-of 28 general hospitals-were returned. Then, the data coded and submitted to mean, standard deviation, T-test, variance analysis (ANOVA), correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis with SAS program. The research results of the contingent nurses are followings: 1. Two types of contingent nurses shows similar age spans: they are mostly 21 - 30 years old and unmarried. But internship nurses have high level of educational career. Part - time nurses spread at general beds, out -patient part, intensive care part, operation part, etc, but internship nurses work mostly at general beds. 2. Two groups shows difference in actual employment condition: average employment career of part -time nurses is 7.0 months but internship nurses' is 2.0 months: average duty-on days per month of part - time nurses are 23.7 days but internship nurses' are 24.8 days. But there are little difference in average working time per day: 7.7 hours for part -time nurses and 0 hours for internship nurses. 3. The average wage per month for part -time nurses is 836,026 won but for internship nurses is 557,428 won-66.7% of part-time nurses'. Both groups are enjoying little additional pay. 4. Both groups are getting job not so much through advertisement of newspaper or hospitals as through acquainted person or college. 5. Both groups show very high level of job satisfaction: 3.2195 for part -time nurses and 3.2881 for internship nurses. But they show very low satisfaction on payment level compared with other categories and two groups show meaningful difference(P<.0001). 6. The multiple regression test reveals the factors related with job satisfaction: wage level, working part(OR or ICU), age, job career, and motive of contingent job-taking('because I can take care of family duties at the same time') influence positively: motive of contingent job-taking('because I can work regularly without alternation') influences negatively.

일부 대학생들의 흡연실태 및 지식도 (The Realities of Smoking among Some College Students and Their Relevant Knowledge)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the state of smoking among some college students, the smoking motivation of smoker students, what made them quit smoking and how they got ready for giving up smoking, as smoking had a huge impact on national health and there was a desperate necessity for preventive antismoking education programs to let students keep away from smoking. After a survey was conducted with self-administered questionnaires from October 1 through November 1, 2006, the responses from 400 students were gathered, and 384 answer sheets were analyzed except 16 incomplete ones. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. By gender, 62.4% of the male students and 28.6% of the female students were smokers, and the state of smoking was statistically significantly different according to their gender(p<0.05). 2. The largest number of the male students, which accounted 44.1%, started smoking in their high school days, and 39.5% of the females did that in middle school. As for a daily mean amount of smoking, 41.8% of the male students, the greatest percentage, smoked 10 to 19 cigarettes a day, and one to nine cigarettes were most common among the females, which represented 57.9 %. But the gap between the two was insignificant(p>0.05). As many as 83.6% of the males and 86.8% of the females had ever attempted to quit it. 3. Concerning awareness of antismoking policies, they felt that a raise in cigarette price would lead to less smoking, and that antismoking advertisement or posters through television or newspaper would deliver the same results as well. There was a statistically significant difference among their awareness(p<0.05). 4. Regarding preparation stage for quitting smoking, 31.3% of the male smokers had no intention to give it up, and 23.2% considered it. 36.7%, the largest percentage, got ready to refrain from it. Among the female smokers, 34.2% had no plans to abstain from smoking, and 36.8% took it into consideration. 23.7% got ready to do that. The females who got ready for that were outnumbered the males who did. 5. As to connections between the state of smoking and relevant knowledge, the students didn't have a good knowledge on that, and a statistically significant difference existed between the smokers and nonsmokers in smoking knowledge. 6. As for knowledge about oral diseases, they were highly cognizant of the relationship of smoking to tooth discoloration, nicotine stomatitis and bad breath, but they didn't know well about its relationship to delayed recovery from dental treatment, implant failure and ozena. Their smoking condition made a statistically significant difference to their knowledge(p<0.05). In the future, sustained research efforts should be channeled into determining how much smoking affects health and concerns oral diseases, and antismoking counseling programs should be prepared to bolster people's awareness of oral health.

종합편성채널의 독립제작 환경과 관행에 관한 연구 독립PD, 작가 및 종합편성채널 관계자 심층인터뷰를 중심으로 (Independent Production Routines and Environmental Changes In 'Comprehensive Programming Television Channels' in Korea Focusing on Interviews with Independent Producers, Broadcast Writers and Individuals Involved with the TV Channels)

  • 본 연구는 개국 5년차에 접어든 종합편성채널의 독립제작 환경과 관행을 미디어 생산과정의 유연전문화 및 조직 관행 관점에서 구체적으로 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 독립PD, 방송작가, 종편 관계자 등 13명을 심층 인터뷰한 결과, 첫째, 종편은 보도프로그램을 제외한 프로그램제작에서 독립제작에 의존도 높은 유연전문화 제작구조가 정착되었고, 시청률과 성과 중심의 계약 관행으로 인해 다양성이 담보된 프로그램 제작이 어려울 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 일부 채널에서는 지상파 보다 높은 제작비 및 인센티브 제도 등의 제작여건 개선도 있었지만, 이러한 보상체계는 방송사 내부의 경쟁과 독립제작자들 간의 경쟁을 심화시켜 저작권의 일방적 소유, 불공정거래로 이어졌음을 알 수 있었다. 셋째, 신문방송 겸영에 따른 사주의 영향력 뿐 아니라 신문사 출신 관리자의 관리구조로 인한 위계적인 독립제작 관행이 정착될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 종편 내부 관계자와 독립제작자들의 '종합편성'에 대한 인식을 살펴본 결과 일부 종편사 관계자는 다양성보다는 수익과 성과 측면에서 편성 장르와 내용이 우선적인 고려사항이라고 밝혔고, 광고주와 광고국에 의해 독립제작자들의 제작권이 침해받을 경우 다양한 소재와 장르에 대한 접근이 어려움을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 종편채널의 편성과 프로그램 독립제작은 기존의 '외주제작' 정책과 다른 관점에서의 제도적 보완과 규제가 필요함을 논의하였다.
