Recently, there has been an active service that provides customized news to news subscribers. In this study, we intend to design a customized news service system through Deep Learning-based Social Network Service (SNS) activity analysis, applying real news and avoiding fake news. In other words, the core of this study is the study of delivery methods and delivery devices to provide customized news services based on analysis of users, SNS activities. First of all, this research method consists of a total of five steps. In the first stage, social network service site access records are received from user terminals, and in the second stage, SNS sites are searched based on SNS site access records received to obtain user profile information and user SNS activity information. In step 3, the user's propensity is analyzed based on user profile information and SNS activity information, and in step 4, user-tailored news is selected through news search based on user propensity analysis results. Finally, in step 5, custom news is sent to the user terminal. This study will be of great help to news service providers to increase the number of news subscribers.

The past, present, and future of online journalism in Korea are inextricably bound up with the portal site news services. In traditional journalism, finite news media took hold on news consumption completely because of performing news production and distribution simultaneously. Since then, in the age of multi-media and multi-channel, the audience selection has become more important because of greatly increasing news media and then exploding news production. In online journalism, the news distribution have emerged as the most important field because of the intensive consuming the portal site news services making use of various news easier, the characteristic of news consumption focusing on not news media brands but news media contents, etc. Therefore, the news present landscape of Korean journalism oriented news distribution has been completed by that the portal site news services became the symbol of online journalism. That the portal site news services performing only news distribution have more influence than the paper based online newspapers and Internet based online newspapers producing news means the change of media power. By this, a conflict between news media and portal site news services appears at all times.

We showed two versions of the news broadcast: one with humor, the other without it to 222 university students and analyzed how the presence of humor affects on the anchor credibility, attitude and examined the moderating role of news type. The results demonstrate that the use of humor has a negative influence on anchor credibility, but doesn't affect anchor attitude. Regarding the moderating effect of news type, the group who watched soft news was not influenced by the presence of humor, but the group who watched hard news revealed that their anchor attitude became dramatically better with the use of humor.

Second, news sharers use less news through old media while more news through new media. Third, political orientation, portal, SNS and online video platform new usage, messenger news reliability have positive effects on news sharing, while age and portal news reliability have negative effects on it. This study suggests the establishment and applications of the News core thesaurus for efficient indexing and searching of news information. News core thesaurus was constructed as macrothesauri which can cover all of news subjects and then has microthesauri like politics, economy, society, culture, etc. as its subsets. In this research, News core thesaurus embodied 2,012 descriptors and 74 non-descriptors by SKOS(Simple Knowledge Organization System). It suggests measures that treat only special subjects in detail in weekly newspaper or biweekly newspaper with little information and special subjects, which is not daily newspaper, and use each microthesauri by merging or integrating in huge news archives or portal sites.
The study examined differences between perceptions of AI speakers and intention to continuous use of AI speakers according to usage function. We divided usage patterns into single- and multi-function orientations based on the usage by different functions of audio content (music, news, and search), and analyzed the differences between perceptions of using AI speakers and the intention to continuous use. 335 men and women who had experience using AI speakers participated in an online survey. Results are as follows. First, men used AI speakers mainly for acquiring news, and the extent to which 20s and 40s acquire news was different. Second, perceptions of usefulness and ease of use were found to be higher in the multi-functional group(music-news-search). Last, regarding the intention to continuous use of AI speakers, the multi-functional group was highest, and users focusing on music listening were relatively higher than users for other functions. The findings of the study are expected to be used as foundational data for expanding the use of AI speakers and developing strategies for service provision in each AI speaker brand.
This study is considered how to use newspapers to apply education by the way of analyses of environment coverage in newspapers. The news of environment coverage is mostly gathered from data by government-informer, and the news is positive/agreement or negative/disagreement in tenor. The news gathering methods of planning/magazine newspaper serial are scientific and objective, and they are of the firsthand data by news reporter, contributions by experts and interviews. The spaces of the news are specially edited. The environment news is often negative/disagreeable in tenor because the news is mostly of straight ones written by non-experts. Applying newspapers in education is a useful learning method which students could develop thinking power and induce concerning and interest by themselves. From the results of the study, the useful suggestions to apply newspapers to learning are as follows. At first, spaces and types of news must be read in detail. Secondly, it is hopeful that indirect news by not writer himself might be possibly avoided in learning. Thirdly, the themes of news would be picked up in relation with learning contents. Lastly, it suggests that the tenor of news is neutral or, in cases, positive and negative together possibly.

With the widespread use of social media, online social platforms like Twitter have become a place of rapid dissemination of information-both accurate and inaccurate. After the COVID-19 outbreak, the overabundance of fake information and rumours on online social platforms about the COVID-19 pandemic has spread over society as quickly as the virus itself. As a result, fake news poses a significant threat to effective virus response by negatively affecting people's willingness to follow the proper public health guidelines and protocols, which makes it important to identify fake information from online platforms for the public interest. In this research, we introduce an approach to detect fake news using deep learning techniques, which outperform traditional machine learning techniques with a 93.1% accuracy. We then investigate the content differences between real and fake news by applying topic modeling and linguistic analysis. Our results show that topics on Politics and Government services are most common in fake news. In addition, we found that fake news has lower analytic and authenticity scores than real news. With the findings, we discuss important academic and practical implications of the study.
The purpose of this study was to examine users' attitude toward likability, understanding level, reliability, satisfaction, and continuous usage intention depending on a difference in a type between card news and straight news. A questionnaire survey was conducted targeting 232 people. As a result of the research, compared to the straight news, the card news was easy for a user to understand, was strong even in a desire to use continuously. Second, a factor of users' attitude toward news was having influence upon the mutually positive(+) direction. Likability, understanding level and reliability had an effect on satisfaction. The satisfaction had an impact again on continuous usage intention. The intensity of this impact was varied, respectively, in card news and straight news. The influential level upon satisfaction in card news was strong in order of likability, understanding level and reliability. The influence in the straight news was strong in order of reliability, likability and understanding level. The outcome of this study will become empirical data in proceeding with seeking a method available for strengthening the function of offering information in news through increasing delivery and impact in information with producing news chosen by consumers.
