  • Covid-19 pandemic required all the world to use internet more actively. As a result, individuals and businesses are more open to digital threats. In order to provide security within the network, firewalls should be used. Firewalls act as a gateway between the corporate and the external networks. Therefore, it is more important than ever to choose the right firewall for each network. In this study, a new linear decision making model is proposed in order to find out the most suitable firewall and the estimates are completed according to this new model. Also, this model is compared with multi-objective optimization on the basis of ratio analysis (MOORA) method. This study distinguishes from other studies by proposing a new solution which ranks the firewall alternatives using linear and MOORA approaches. These approaches are used in many fields before but not in information technologies. Thus, this study can be considered quite innovative in terms of the problem it handles and the approaches used. It offers up-to-date and practical suggestions related to a decision making problem that has not been previously studied in the literature.

  • The article provides a literary and analytical review in the following areas of search: problems and prerequisites for changes in the field of education, innovations and innovative models in education, the use of new technologies in teaching. A proposal for a business plan and accompanying documentation for a new methodology based on blockchain technologies were developed, to assess the economic efficiency of the project. The main systems of the new model were modeled on the basis of the proposed methodology, to develop a prototype based on the project documentation.

  • The Commission on New Minerals and Mineral Names (hereafter abbreviated as CNMMN) of the International Mineralogical Association was established in 1959 for the purpose of controlling mineral nomenclature, All proposals for introducing new minerals, changing mineralogical nomenclature, and discrediting or redefining existing minerals and mineral names should be submitted to the CNMMN for approval before publication. If approval is withheld, the proposal should not be published. This report incorporates material from previous reports on mineral nomenclature and procedures of the CNMMN (Fleischer, 1970; Donnay and Fleischer, 1970; Embrey and Hey, 1970; Hey and Gottardi, 1980; and Mandarino et al., 1984), and represents an attempt to consolidate this information and to present a there are differences between this report and the earlier ones, this versionis to be regarded as the correct one.

  • In this paper, we propose a new blocking method, multiple blocking, and examine the efficiency of the method in basic matrix operations. In the best case for the matrix multiplication C=AB+C, the multiple blocking improves the performance by more than 10%, compared to the conventional single blocking method.

  • In this paper, the new electrochemical machining method is proposed for the micro unit fabrication by using the point electrode tools. The precision shape control capacity is improved by using the point electrode method. It was observed that an electric discharge phenomenon occurs during the electrochemical machining process by using the spraying and torrent type electrolyte supply method.

  • This paper describes an implementation of 4$^{th}$ order single-loop Butterworth noise shaper for a 16-bit $\Delta$$\Sigma$ DAC with the viewpoint of minimum hardware overhead. we adopt simple bit-shifting scheme and ROM selection technique for the multiplication, and propose a new buffer-and-routing method for the ROM circuits. The behavioral level and timing simulations reveal that our proposal is valid for the target specificationrget specificationn

  • This paper treats the japanese adjective phrase forming derivational suffix -tai from a new point of view: firstly it tries to approach from a semantic standpoint by applying the proposal made in Ikeya (1991). It will be shown that adjective phrases formed by -tai fits nicely with the semantic structure proposed by Ikeya. Secondly, we attempt to 'derive' -tai sentences by adopting a basic framework of HPSG so that we can 'derive' them without having recourse to transformational operations, that is, in a monostratal way. In tackling the problem we have tried to incorporate many ideas proposed so far on this issue.

  • A mechanistic possibility for the initiation of the thermal polymerization reactions are envisaged theoretically. As result of the considerations, it is assumed that the thermal polymerization reactions take place via the pseudo molecular complex which has been supposed to be an intermediate in the transition state of Diels-Alder reactions.
