Purpose - Alliance members have constantly revised market strategies over time by withdrawing membership from a current alliance, joining another alliance, or constructing a new alliance. From the perspective of the signaling effect, the purpose of this study is to analyze the impacts of partner volatility (new member, old member, and new group) on firm value. Design/methodology - To analyze the impact of partner volatility on firm value, companies in strategic alliances are classified into the three groups of new partner, existing partner, and new alliance, and the effects on company value are verified through an event study and the signaling effect analysis. Findings - This study proved that new partners and newly formed strategic alliances have higher expectation effects than old partner company groups, and have a more positive effect on the relevant firms' stock prices. In addition, the result of the study showed the same valid results as the alliance levels, and showed that investors' expectations were higher with new partners and new alliances than with old partners. Research Implications - A new perspective on the signaling effects of strategic alliances among shipping lines was presented in this study by grouping alliance types including new member, old member, and new group. The results provide useful insights for selecting partners and firm values of alliance announcement times. Originality/value - This study analyzed partner volatility on relevant companies' stock prices from the perspective of investors from the global shipping conference reorganization in 2017. Strategic alliances were classified into the three categories of new partner, old partner, and new alliance, and the effects on firm value were verified.
The purpose of this study is to examine if orientation, location of entrance, court yard of existing old houses are consistently maintained when houses are newly built fitting the changed lots system, and the changed road system for Topdong 'Yangdalmal' in the existing old settlements in old center Cheongju. The lots was spilt up into 15 lots in 1913, 38 lots in 1968, and 75 lots in 2010. Among them, The lots maintained are 19 lots and the lots subdivided are 56 lots. 12 houses are newly built among the 19 shape-maintained lots and 41 houses are newly built among the 56 split up lots. Most of the new houses have south-facing orientation. Main entrance near the old road keeps the direction of the previous entry. Houses built in 1970s and 1980s keep their original court yards but they are disappearing year by year by new type of houses in 1990s.

The telecommunications industry pro-grossed as old media, but new media is going into a new era of multi-media in the 21st century. In the latter half of 1970s we saw a boom of new media as a post-telephone era began. As the machines grew to the world level(standard), facsimiles, minitels of France and word processors of Japan were developed. Today some 15 years since the advent of new media era, the progress of technology is astonishing. Advancement of technology is seen in V and U letters attached to semiconductor chips, astonishing capability advancement of light emitting lasers and photo-diodes, etc and additionally technology advancement in large capacitized light disks. Thus these technologies have made possible transmitting a broad band network and a mobile communication and digitalized broadcasting. Increased capacity of every terminal, e.g, "letters $.$ voice $.$ still and mov-ing pictures" are essential for new media simultaneous and two -way transmission.

This research was conducted to develop a new approach to Chuncheon Dakgalbi processing by various chicken materials, seasoning (conventional sauce/CS and new approach of seasoning by adding the curing mixture/CSA), and cooking methods. Three chicken breeds (broiler, old broiler and spent laying hen) were divided into five experimental groups: broiler-CS, old broiler-CS, old broiler-CSA, spent laying hen-CS, and spent laying hen-CSA. All samples were stored at $5^{\circ}C$ for 12 d. For sensory evaluation, all samples were cooked with conventional cooking (pan grilling) or high temperature and pressure cooking (at $121^{\circ}C$ with pressure 1.5 $Kg_f/cm^2$ for 30 min). The chicken material analysis showed that the moisture and crude protein content, cooking loss and shear-force of the old broiler and spent laying hen were higher (p<0.05) than those of the current broiler, but the crude ash, crude lipid and WHC were lower (p<0.05). The addition of CSA increased the pH value and reduced the lipid oxidation at the end of storage regardless of chicken breeds (p<0.05). The high temperature and pressure cooking method seemed to increase the taste, smell and overall-acceptability scores of the old broiler and spent laying hen Chuncheon Dakgalbi regardless of the implementation of new approach of seasoning (CSA). In conclusion, an old broiler and spent laying hen can be used as material of Chuncheon Dakgalbi by the application of a new approach of seasoning and cooking method.

This study was to research the actual condition of a dropworts working environment and to develope the clothing to reduce the work road. The actual conditions of working environment, working position and clothing were surveyed. Experiments were performed in the chamber and in the field. In the chamber, rectal temperature, 11 points skin temperatures(forehead, chest, abdomen, upperarm, forearm, dorsum manus, palm, thigh, calf, dorsum pedis and pelma), heart rates, microclimates inside clothing on the chest and subjective sensations were measured for comparing between 2 different types o garments. In the field, rectal temperature, abodomen skin temperature, 3 points microclimates inside clothing(chest, back and thigh), heart rates, the volume of EMG and subjective sensations were measured. The results were as follows; 1. There were no significant differences in rectal temperature between a old type protective clothing and a new type both in the chamber and the field. 2. Subjects wearing a old type clothing responded \"a little cold\", \"a little uncomfortable\" and subjects wearing a new type protective clothing responded \"normal\", \"comfortable\" both in the chamber and the field. 3. In the field test results, abodemen skin temperature in a old type clothing was higher and microtemperatures inside clothing of chest, back and thigh in a new type protective clothing were higher. 4. The volume of EMG was lower in the new type protective clothing than in the old one.protective clothing than in the old one.

The objective of this study is to analyze the distribution of urban parks and its problems in a city in Gyeonggi-do where new towns and old towns are mixed. The study will also analyze and understand the unbalanced deployment of urban parks - rest areas and carbon absorbers of an entire city - between old towns and new towns, suggest improvement opportunities and examine and suggest plans to create and expand urban parks in old cities that lack urban parks. Findings showed that first, new towns were 1.2~1.6 higher than old towns in the number of parks, park area, and per capita park area, indicating that parks were unbalanced across towns. Second, as for a plan for improving the unbalanced deployment of urban parks, when the use area needs to be changed in an urban development project, it was suggested to donate 10% of the project site to the city to create it into a park and it was suggested to identify and proactively improve alternative park resources that can replace parks such as rivers and recreational sites. Third, regarding a plan for improving urban parks in old towns, it was suggested to secure urban parks by attracting various urban development projects to old town areas. The amendment of related laws was proposed to double required park area to $6m^2$ per household. Amendments were also suggested for one law and four guidelines to specifically define the location of urban parks as well.
Old age is often compared as climbing mountains which requires walking out of breath, yet with wider vision. And it is also likened to the estuary where the river flows slowly and broadly into the open sea. Socially, old age has been regarded as a symbol of wisdom and reflection, and elderly people often take the role of sage who leads the community. On the other hand, the dementia, gray hair and wrinkles of old age were sometimes perceived as the decline of intellect and vitality. Especially, in the digital age in which technology makes people more sensitive to physical artificiality, the evaluation of the old age becomes more complex and obscure. In other words, some elderly people can not escape from Confucious convention of the elders first, which causes the denouncement by younger generations. On the other hand, some elderly people are becoming more adaptable to the trend of young people, emerging as the new elderly people. The anti-aging movement, early adaptation of IT, bioengineering regimen also strong for the advanced age. However, as the new elderly people are active in many fields of society, they also face intergenerational conflicts in some areas where remains the overlap between young people and them due to the limited openings in economy and culture. This study is a transdisciplinary research which can be called old age humanities. First of all, this paper looks at the aspects of lifestyles and intergeneration conflicts in old age in four Korean and Western literary works about the old people, and also searches how to improve the quality of the later life of old people, Overall, this paper aims to explore the way the old people can achieve the full life with the help of intergenerational dependency through building aging humanities and new communities for old people.
The writer presented in the report 7th of this series(Chong, 1959. '62 a.b. '64, '65) the result of fertlizer application on Sasamorpha purpurascens var. borealis with regards to soil conditions, climate, planting position etc. and this report is on the effectiveness of fertilizers by kinds of the new (1-year old) and old(3-to 4 years old) Phyllostachys retticulata. The ineffectiveness of fertilizers for old bamboos aged more than 8-years old has been reported previously. The study site was chosen in a bamboo groven situated at Hyunnae Ri, Okkye Myun, Myungju Gun, Kangwon Do. Each plot was so designed that only one individual remained at the center of a circular area with a dimeter of meters by eliminating the clums and severing the rhizomes, of other individuals around it. And, for the fertilizer test, 10 individuals(the new and old: 5 to 5) were observed per kind of fertilizer used; thus marking the total number of 160 plots in all. The second part of this study was conducted for the potted individuals which numbered 48, successfully established ones out of 55 the transplanted to pots. The 48 were divided into 8 treatments: whole fertilization (NPK+compost+human manure); NPK; N; K; Human manure; compost; and the control. Amoung of fertilizers applied was 200 grams for the natural plots and 100 grams for pot; it continued for 3 years and applied twice a year (spring and summer) following the theory of Dr. Koichi-ro Ueda(1954, '60 a.b.). Measurements were taken in August each year. The resutls were confirming the fact that the bamboos require a great deal of fertilizers. The results show the following points: 1) Fertilizers were more effective in the 3 to 4 year old bamboos. 2) The order of effectiveness of fertilizers by kind was the whole fertilization, NPK, and N treatments for Phyllostachys reticulata. 3) Organic matter in addition to commercial fertilizers showed better result than the soil application of the latter due to better soil aeration.

This study is to clarify the characteristics and its change of spatial elements for community focused on the existing 22 old settlements in urban area of Cheongju. These community spaces are mainly divided into three parts, that is central space, inner road, and blind alley(cul-de-sac). The transitional characteristics of them are as follows. Firstly, the characteristics of central spaces is lasting, but the function is influenced by changing times. The function of central spaces located at the entrance to the village had been reduced to adjustments to modern lifestyle, and currently changed into senior citizen community center, supermarket, and public area. Secondly, as the width of the existing inner roads passed through old settlements had been extended, they are changed into pedestrian and traffic road, but the shape and function of them have been maintained. When new roads passed through old settlements had been established, the shape of old inner roads is disappeared, and the function of them is changed into byway and alley. Thirdly, cul-de-sacs of old settlements have tended to create a sense of community, but new cul-de-sacs formed by lot division have been only changed to passage. When new roads are established and cul-de-sacs are changed into alleys, the community between individual households is lost.
