  • In this paper proposed to Neural network PI self-tuning direct controller using Error back propagation algorithm. Proposed controller applies to speed controller and current controller. Also, this built up the interface environment to drive it simply and exactly in any kind of reference, environment fluent and parameter transaction of BLDC motor. Neural network PI self-tuning simulator using Visual C++ and Matlab Simulation is organized to construct this environment. Built-u-p interface has it's own purpose that even the user who don't have the accurate knowledge of neural network can embody operation characteristic rapidly and easily.

  • 본 논문은 새롭게 제안된 단일전자 소자(single-electron device) 및 회로를 이용한 새로운 형태의 홉필드 신경회로망(Hopfield neural network)을 소개한다. 홉필드 신경회로망의 전기적 모델 내부에서 가변저항으로 사용되는 단일전자 시냅스(single-electron synapse)와 비선형 활성함수(nonlinear activation function)로 사용되는 두 단의 단일전자 인버터(single-electron inverter)를 몬테-칼로(Monte-Carlo) 방식의 단일전자 회로 시뮬레이터로 동작을 검증한다.

  • Visual effects are important cues for providing occupant s with virtual reality in a vehicle simulator which imitates real driving. The viewpoint of an occupant is sensitively dependent upon the occupant´s posture, therefore, the total body motion must be considered in a graphic simulator. A real time simulation is required for the dynamic analysis of complex human body motion. This study attempts to apply a neural network to the motion analysis in various driving situations. A full car of medium-sized vehicles was selected and modeled, and then analyzed using ADAMS in such driving conditions as bump-pass and acceleration. A multibody system analysis software, MADYMO, was used in the motion analysis of an adult male dummy in the seated position.   • The main purpose of this paper is cost reduction in absurd pilot positive expense and human accident prevention which is caused by in the pilot selection process. We use classification models such as logistic regression, decision tree, and neural network based on aptitude test results of 505 ROK Air Force applicants in 2001~2004. First, we determine the reliability and propriety against the aptitude test system which has been improved. Based on this conference flight simulator test item was compared to the new aptitude test item in order to make additional yes or no decision from different models in terms of classification accuracy, ROC and Response Threshold side. Decision tree was selected as the most efficient for each sequential flight training result and the last flight training results predict excellent. Therefore, we propose that the standard of pilot selection be adopted by the decision tree and it presents in the aptitude test item which is new a conference flight simulator test.

  • The Helicopter Simulator System is non-linear and complex. Futhermore, because of absence of its accurate mathematical model, it is difficult to control accurately its attitudes such as elevation angle and azimuth one. Therefore, we proposed a Hybrid GA-PID WAVENET(Genetic Algorithm Proportional Integral Derivative Wavelet Neural Network)control technique to control efficiently these angles. The proposed Hybrid GA-PID WAVENET is made through the following process. First, the WAVENET fundamental functions are defined. And their dilation and translation values are adjusted by GA to construct the optimal WAVENET controller. Secondly, the proportional, integral, and derivative gain coefficients of PR controller are tuned optimally. Finally, WAVENET controller which has a good transient characteristic and GA-PE controller which has a good steady state characteristic is adequately combined in hybrid type. Through the computer simulations, it is proved that the Hybrid GA-PE WAVENET control technique has a more excellent dynamic response than PID control technique and GA-PID one.

신경망 알고리즘을 이용한 화력발전 보일러 시스템 시뮬레이터 개발 (Development of Thermal Power Boiler System Simulator Using Neural Network Algorithm)

  • 대규모 화력 발전소 제어용 시뮬레이터 개발은 급수/증기 계통, 공기/연소가스 계통, 미분탄 계통 및 터빈/발전기 계통으로 구성되며, 기계적인 터빈/발전기를 제외하고 모든 계통에 대하여 모델링이 가능하다. 현재까지 화력발전의 일부 계통에 대한 신경망 시뮬레이터 개발에 대한 시도는 있었으나 전체 계통에 대한 시뮬레이터 개발은 완성된 적이 없다. 특히 모든 발전사의 핵심 기술 개발중 하나인 오토튜닝은 정확도가 높은 모든 계통에 대한 모델링이 완성되어야 이룰 수 있는 기술이다. 이에 본 논문은 신경망 알고리즘을 이용하여 시스템을 설계할 경우 가장 핵심인 입출력 관계에 대한 변수를 모든 계통에 대하여 정의하였다. 시뮬레이션을 수행한 결과 실제 보일러 계통의 95~99% 이상 정확도를 보임에 따라 본 시뮬레이터에 현장 PID 제어기를 결합할 경우 고장진단이나 오토튜닝에 활용 가능할 것이다.

  • Subsymbolic Knowledge processing is said to be changed states of networks constructed from small elements. subsymbolic systems also make it possible to use connectionist models for knowledge processing. Connectionist realization such modulus are modulus linked together for solving a given problem. We study using neural networks as distinct actions. The output vectors produced by the neural networks are consider as a new facts. These new facts are then processed to activate another networks or used in the current production rule, The production rule is applying knowledge stored in the knowledge base to make inference. After neural networks knowledge base is constructed and trained. We present a running sample of incorporating neural network knowledge base. We implement using rochester connectionist simulator. We suggest that incorporating neural network knowledge base. Therefore incorporated neural network knowledge base ensures a cleaner solution which results in better perfor s.

Automatic adjustment of feedforward signal in boiler controllers of thermal power plants

  • This paper proposes an auto-tuning method of feedforward signal in boiler control of thermal power plants by using the neural network. The neural network produces an optimal feedforward signal by tuning the weights of the network. The weights are adapted effectively by using the teaching signal of PI control output. The proposed method was evaluated based on a detailed simulator which expressed non-linear characteristics of the 600 MW actual thermal power plant at load chaning operations, showed effectiveness in the learning of the weights of the neural network, and gave an accurate control performance in the temperature control of the system. Through the evaluation, the proposed method was proved to be effectively applicable to the actual thermal plants as the automatic adjustment tool.

  • Although artificial neural network based on backpropagation algorithm is an excellent system simulator, it has still unsolved problems of its structure-decision and learning method. That is, we cannot find a general approach to decide the structure of the neural network and cannot train it satisfactorily because of the local optimum point which it frequently falls into. In addition, although there are many successful applications using backpropagation learning algorithm, there are few efforts to improve the learning algorithm itself. In this study, we suggest a general way to construct the hidden layer of the neural network using binary genetic algorithm and also propose the various learning methods by which the global minimum value of the teaming error can be obtained. A XOR problem and line heating problems are investigated as examples.
