  • Smart grid is the next generation intelligent power grid that combines the existing electric power infrastructure and information infrastructure. It can optimize the energy efficiency in both directions, suppliers and power consumers to exchange information in real time. In smart grid environments, with existing network security threats due to the smart grid characteristics, there are additional security threats. In this paper, we propose a security mechanism that provides mutual authentication and key agreement between a remote user and the device. The proposed mechanism has some advantages that provides secure mutual authentication and key agreement and secure against a replay attack and impersonation attacks.

  • With the development of ICT and network, security management of IT infrastructure that has grown in size is becoming very difficult. Many companies and public institutions are having difficulty managing system and network security. In addition, as the complexity of hardware and software grows, it is becoming almost impossible for a person to manage all security. Therefore, AI is essential for network security management. However, since it is very dangerous to operate an attack model in a real network environment, cybersecurity emulation research was conducted through reinforcement learning by implementing a real-life network environment. To this end, this study applied reinforcement learning to the network environment, and as the learning progressed, the agent accurately identified the vulnerability of the network. When a network vulnerability is detected through AI, automated customized response becomes possible.

  • ZigBee is a wireless sensor network protocol recognized as a next-generation standard infrastructure for WBAN and Smart Grid. Security plays an important role in several ZigBee applications. Especially, strict membership control should be enforced when the membership is changed during the join and leave operations in ZigBee. In this paper, we investigate the security weakness of the current leave operation in ZigBee and propose a new security scheme to address it as well as its security and performance analysis.

  • Currently, research on network functions virtualization focuses on using microservices in cloud environments. Previous studies primarily focused on communication between nodes in physical infrastructure. Until now, there is no sufficient research on group key management in virtual environments. The service is composed of microservices that change dynamically according to the virtual service. There are dependencies for microservices on changing the group membership of the service. There is also a high possibility that various security threats, such as data leakage, communication surveillance, and privacy exposure, may occur in interactive communication with microservices. In this study, we propose an ID-based group key exchange (idGKE) mechanism between microservices as one group. idGKE defines the microservices' schemes: group key gen, join group, leave group, and multiple group join. We experiment in a real environment to evaluate the performance of the proposed mechanism. The proposed mechanism ensures an essential requirement for group key management such as secrecy, sustainability, and performance, improving virtual environment security.

  • There is a consensus in the field of vehicular network security that public key cryptography should be used to secure communications. A certificate revocation list (CRL) should be distributed quickly to all the vehicles in the network to protect them from malicious users and malfunctioning equipment as well as to increase the overall security and safety of vehicular networks. Thus, a major challenge in vehicular networks is how to efficiently distribute CRLs. This paper proposes a CRL distribution method aided by terrestrial digital multimedia broadcasting (T-DMB). By using T-DMB data broadcasting channels as alternative communication channels, the proposed method can broaden the network coverage, achieve real-time delivery, and enhance transmission reliability. Even if roadside units are not deployed or only sparsely deployed, vehicles can obtain recent CRLs from the T-DMB infrastructure. A new transport protocol expert group (TPEG) CRL application was also designed for the purpose of broadcasting CRLs over the T-DMB infrastructure.

  • Grid is a infrastructure to connect heterogeneous resources that are scattered over areas with high-speed network and to cooperate with each other. To carry out Grid application, first, network resources should be managed, since the network has to be safe and reliable. GMA suggests an effective architecture for monitoring of resources that are scattered over a wide area. In this paper, basing on GMA, Grid network management system based on web for practical and general network management is designed. Grid network management system has to operate and connect various distributed management system. Using LDAP authentication, as one access system, Grid network management system maintain stability.

  • Smart grid is a network of computers and power infrastructure that monitor and manage energy usage efficiently. Recently, the smart grid demonstration projects around the world, including the United States, Europe, Japan, and the technology being developed. The protection of the many components of the grid against cyber-threats has always been critical, but the recent Smart grid has been threatened by a variety of cyber and physical attacks. We model and analyze advanced metering infrastructure(AMI) in smart grid. Using attack countermeasure tree(ACT) we show qualitative and probabilistic security analysis of AMI. We implement using SHARPE(Symbolic Hierarchical Automated Reliability and Performance Evaluator) tool and calculate probability, ROA, ROI, Structure Importance, Birnbaum Importance.

  • MANET is network that attach importance to not only service of large network as internet but also support of communication among each nodes because infrastructure constitution is disadvantage economically or difficult physically. The most important part in protection of systems constitute MANET is that authenticate each nodes securely and offer reliable service. Well defined routing technique is necessity to this. In this paper, in order to offer safe service, we compare capacity of present security routing protocol, analyze to solve weakness of existing on-demand routing protocol and existing routing protocol and argue with study course of hereafter security routing protocol.

  • The article examines the formation of a competitive paradigm of economic security of industrial enterprises in the formation of a circular economy. The basic laws of industrial enterprises are formed, which determined the characteristics of competitive positions and threats. The basic competitive concepts and their application at maintenance of economic safety of the industrial enterprises in the conditions of formation of circular economy are described. Thus, the technological approach to the formation of a competitive paradigm is based on production technologies, opportunities for technological modernization and development of infrastructure and intellectual competencies. The institutional concept reveals the regulatory mechanisms for ensuring competitiveness through the protectionism of national industrial enterprises, standardization and regulation of market imbalances. The innovation-investment approach within the competitive paradigm is also manifested in the creation of competitive advantages due to the presence of active innovative developments and their commercialization, knowledge and competencies of staff, capitalization of intelligence and communications, constant updating of infrastructure and technologies. Collectively, innovation and investment effects on the level of economic security allow industrial enterprises to ensure resilience to increasing competition, the emergence of new market challenges in the formation of a circular economy. A strategic approach to the application of a competitive paradigm to ensure the economic security of industrial enterprises allows you to justify the prospects for development and design behavioral models to predict and assess potential threats. The concept of system management is based on the complexity of threat analysis, the integrity of the economic security system, system-forming functions and patterns of implementation of industrial development tasks in the formation of a circular economy. The application of the described concepts is formalized by the authors through the definition of the basic patterns, directions and characteristics of their impact on the elements of the security system of industrial enterprises in the formation of a circular economy.
