A Study of CAN Routing Protocol for Efficient Communication Environment Based on Distance Vector Routing Protocol in Heterogeneous Field Sensor Network (이기종 필드 센서 네트워크의 효율적인 통신 환경을 위한 거리벡터 라우팅 프로토콜 기반 CAN 라우팅 프로토콜에 관한 연구)

  • Heterogeneous field sensor network between sensor to sensor is designed the CAN method to bus type structure in most using at industry. This Network is supporting a distance vector routing protocol on a characteristic structural a bus type. Also This network support to convert as making separate routing table in heterogeneous network. However distance vector routing protocol make a problem of decrease efficiency because of restriction of network expandability and low transmission process. We propose new CAN routing protocol to support network expandability and high transmission process of industry network. New CAN routing protocol structure addition priority and optional function field based on RIPv2. We established heterogeneous field sensor network, we measure data Throughput(bits/sec) for confirm new CAN routing protocol to increase efficient in industry.

  • The purpose of this study is to describe quantitatively the characteristics and the structure of the Act on the development, management, etc. of Marinas (the Marinas Act) by analysing its provisions using semantic network analysis. The method of semantic network analysis has its advantages in overcoming limitations of the traditional content analysis method, as it is easy for the user to understand the structure and the shape of a network by figuring out the structural network among words. The object of the analysis is the full text of Marinas Act recently revised from Chapters 1 to 4, while partial analysis is carried out respectively for each chapter from Chapters 2 to 4. The structural characteristic of the Marinas Act shows that the act focuses on the development of marinas, as its main goal is interpreted to set up hardwares and to construct facilities rather than to promote the marina industry itself. Even though some clauses for human capital development and business development are included, they are of less importance compared to the development of marina facilities. This study provides some basic information on the structural characteristics of the current act, which can be referred to in subsequent studies. In the future, it also needs to be complemented through comparative analysis with government policy outcomes and performance of diverse analytical approaches.

Stochastic Error Compensation Method for RDOA Based Target Localization in Sensor Network (통계적 오차보상 기법을 이용한 센서 네트워크에서의 RDOA 측정치 기반의 표적측위)

  • A recursive linear stochastic error compensation algorithm is newly proposed for target localization in sensor network which provides range difference of arrival(RDOA) measurements. Target localization with RDOA is a well-known nonlinear estimation problem. Since it can not solve with a closed-form solution, the numerical methods sensitive to initial guess are often used before. As an alternative solution, a pseudo-linear estimation scheme has been used but the auto-correlation of measurement noise still causes unacceptable estimation errors under low SNR conditions. To overcome these problems, a stochastic error compensation method is applied for the target localization problem under the assumption that a priori stochastic information of RDOA measurement noise is available. Apart from the existing methods, the proposed linear target localization scheme can recursively compute the target position estimate which converges to true position in probability. In addition, it is remarked that the suggested algorithm has a structural reconciliation with the existing one such as linear correction least squares(LCLS) estimator. Through the computer simulations, it is demonstrated that the proposed method shows better performance than the LCLS method and guarantees fast and reliable convergence characteristic compared to the nonlinear method.

A Preliminary Study on the Semantic Network Analysis of Book Report Text (독후감 텍스트의 언어 네트워크 분석에 관한 기초연구)

  • The purpose of this preliminary study is to collect specific examples of book reports and understand semantic characteristics of them through semantic network. The analysis was conducted with 23 book reports which classified by three groups. The keywords were selected from the of book reports. Five types of keyword network were composed based on co-occurrence relations with keywords. The result of this study is following these. First, each keyword network of book reports of groups and individuals is shown to have different structural characteristics. Second, each network has different high centrality keywords according to the result analysis of 3 types of centrality(degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality). These characteristic means that keyword network analysis is useful in recognizing the characteristics of not only groups' and but also individual's book reports.

Operational modal analysis of reinforced concrete bridges using autoregressive model

  • This study focuses on the system identification of reinforced concrete bridges using vector autoregressive model (VAR). First, the time series output response from a bridge establishes the autoregressive (AR) models. AR models are one of the most accurate methods for stationary time series. Burg's algorithm estimates the autoregressive coefficients (ARCs) at p-lag by reducing the sum of the forward and the backward errors. The computed ARCs are assembled in the state system matrix and the eigen-system realization algorithm (ERA) computes: the eigenvector matrix that contains the vectors of the mode shapes, and the eigenvalue matrix that contains the associated natural frequencies. By taking advantage of the characteristic of the AR model with ERA (ARMERA), civil engineering can address problems related to damage detection. Operational modal analysis using ARMERA is applied to three experiments. One experiment is coupled with an artificial neural network algorithm and it can detect damage locations and extension. The neural network uses a specific number of ARCs as input and multiple submatrix scaling factors of the structural stiffness matrix as output to represent the damage.

  • The objective of this paper is to examine the structure of technology spillover from UAV(unmanned air vehicle) technology to other industries by applying patents analysis. The network analysis on patent data of USPTO(United Stated Patents and Trademark Office) from 1981 to 2000 was adopted to investigate the characteristic change of the technology spillover The results show that the influence of the UAV technology to other industries has grown over the twenty years period. For the weapon system development, this study provides a research basis to estimate the technology spillover effects on industries. Searching a structural niche from the inter-industrial knowledge flow structure might be a useful technique to find core technologies which generate large technology spillover on the other industries.

  • A P2P network can be created or destroyed automatically because it is based on the structural characteristic of being promoted by peer communities' free participation. While users can share resources they want in a P2P, there are also many resources they do not want such as fake contents. As one method of removing fake contents, it is suggested to use collective intelligence in P2P environment. And we simulated merit of reputation system.

  • 본 논문에서는 한글의 구조적인 특징을 이용하여 이를 효과적으로 인식할 수 있는 신경망을 설계해보았고, 이를 이용하여 주민등록증에 있는 이름을 인식하는 시스템을 구성해 보았다. 본 시스템은 한글의 6형식에 따른 구조적인 특징을 효과적으로 구분하기 위해 형식을 구분하는 신경망을 먼저 구성하여 형식별로 분류한 뒤, 형식에 따라 자모음을 분리하여 각 형식에 따라 구성된 2차 신경망으로 입력을 하여 인식하는 구조로 설계되었다. 훈련용 데이터는 각 형식 별로 자소를 분리해서 얻은 영상들을 자소별 평균이미지로 만들어서 이를 조합하여 만든 글자로 사용하였다. 그래서 같은 형식의 같은 자음이라도 글자의 모양과 위치가 조금 다른 것에 대해서 강인한 훈련을 할 수 있었다. 또한 히스토그램의 국부 평균을 적용함으로써 잡음에 효과적으로 대응하였다. 100명의 주민등록증을 컴퓨터 카메라를 이용하여 입력 받아서 테스트한 결과 98.1%의 높은 인식률을 얻을 수 있었다.

  • Informatization in Korea has undergone significant changes. So far, most studies on informatization policies have been carried out just on the basis of their structural or functional backgrounds. However, actually, informatization policies have changed dynamically as a lot number of people and organizations have participated in their formulation and implementation. So, this study approaches them with an actor-network view that is distinct from but contains a chronological perspective, which other studies have overlooked so far. This approach allows us to have a clear picture of the changes in and to look into the characteristic of informatization policies from the Chun Doo Hwan government to the Lee Myung-bak government. Consequently, on the basis of the actor-network view, it is found that information and communication technologies, knowledge, and professionalism have dominated the characteristics and streams of informatization policies and brought about changes.

  • The general purpose programs are in their fixed algorithm and theory of mechanics which can not be altered without painful program modifications. Users are usually guided by user's manual for data input. The several symbolic manipulation programs for structural analysis are introduced recently. These programs allow users to include a wide class of solution algorithm and to specify, by means of some symbolic manipulation, a combination of analytical steps to suit a particular problem. As they can solve a single domain problem, a large computer is usually needed. The scope of this study is to develop an efficient symbolic manipulation program with space beam element, plate bending element and eigen value routines. The incorporated Substructure capability and generation capability of finite element characteristic arrays (e.g., stiffness matrix, mass matrix) enables users to analyse multidomain problem with small computer. The program consists of modulized independent processors, each having its own specific function and is easily modified, eliminated and added. The processors are efficiently handling data by the Data base approach which is the concept of integrated program network(IPN).
