흑색 코발트 태양 선택흡수막의 광학적특성과 구조 (Optical Properties and Structure of Black Cobalt Solar Selective Coatings)

  • Black cobalt solar selective coatings were prepared by thermal oxidation of electroplated cobalt metal on copper and nickel substrates. The optical properties and structure of the black cobalt selective coating for solar energy utilizations were characterized by glow discharge spectrometry (GDS), ultraviolet-visible-near infrared (UV-VIS-NIR) spectrometer, atom force microscopy(AFM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS). The optical properties of optimum black cobalt selective coating prepared on copper substrate were a solar absorptance of 0.82 and a thermal emittance of 0.01. From the GDS depth profile analysis of these coatings, the concentration of cobalt particles near the interface was higher than at the surface, but oxygen concentration at the surface was higher than at the interface. These results suggest that the selective absorption was dominated by this chemical composition variation in the coating. The surface of this film exhibited morphology with root-mean-square(rms) roughness of about 144.3nm. XPS measurements data showed that several phases of Co coexist($Co_3O_4$,CoO) in the film.

A measurement of wave length response on light emitting diode by a simplified wavemeter with a semiconductor color sensor

  • This paper describes the measured results upon monochromatic light, compound light, and light emanated from light emitting diodes by a simplified wavemeter with a semiconductor color sensor. Since a single unit element of a semiconductor color sensor with two PN junction photodiodes has been developed, the author has fabricated the simplified wave detector by using the element. The simplified wive detector has been measured results upon monochromatic light, compound light, and light emanated from light emitting diodes. Since luminescent color of each diode locates in luminosity region, comparison of measured values of PD-150 and PD-151 resulted no remarkable difference in averaged wave length. As for monochromatic light, PD-151 showed very cross value to the color filter peak value rather than PD-150. As for compound light, PD-150 has shown such influence of long wave length light which reaches to near infrared ray with respect to PD-151.

  • Transparent conductive metal oxide films of $In_{2-x}Ti_xO_3$ (ITiO) and $In_{2-x}Sn_xO_3$ (ITO) were deposited by RF magnetron sputtering at substrate temperature of $300^{\circ}C$ and at high rate (${\sim}10$nm/min). Electrical and optical properties of the films were investigated as well as film structure and morphology, as it is compared with the commercial F:$SnO_2$ (FTO) glass. Near infrared ray transmittance of ITiO is the highest for wavelengths over 1000nm, which can increase dye sensitized compared to ITiO and FTO. Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) were fabricated using the ITiO, ITO and FTO. Photoconversion efficiency (${\eta}$) of DSC using ITiO is 5.5%, whereas 5.0% is obtained from DSC with ITO. both at 100 mW/$cm^2$ light intensity.

  • This paper performed the basic study for developing the Photodynamic Therapy Equipment for medical treatment. The equipment have been manufactured by using the High Bright Light Emitting Diode and TLC5941 integrated circuit. As a result, 630nm Light Emitting Diode Module was made for the optimization of irradiation condition. And we confirmed the current change according to increase of the level of Light Emitting Diode Module.

  • This paper describes a newly designed multipoint process monitoring system based on a NIR acousto-optic tunable filter. The NIR multipoint process monitoring system consists of a NIR AOTF device for wavelength selection, an InGaAs array sensor, and a specially designed iin-line type of optical fiber probe. Unlike a FTS(Fourier Transform Spectrometry) or grating based monitoring system, an AOTF has no moving parts, and it can be rapidly tuned to any wavelength in its operating range within microseconds. Thus, the AOTF is advantageous in terms of faster spectral imaging capability and rigidity required for industrial monitoring environment.   • Mixed heat transfer in an indirected NIR (Near Infrared Ray) dry chamber was investigated numerical analysis. It is Important that the miked heat transfer effects on double parameters which the Reynolds number and the position of emit lamp. Reynolds number are based on the outer diameter of the cylinder range from 103 to $30{\times}105$. Four difference heat transfer regimes of behavior are apparent: forced convection and radiation on the outer surface of the cylinder, pure conduction, pure natural convection and radiation between lamp surface and inner surface of the cylinder. The temperature and flow patterns are illustrated by iso-contour lines for the double parameters. Also presented are results on the convective heat transfer flux and the radiative heat transfer flux as increased with Reynolds number.

  • The photocurrent characteristics of CdTe/HgTe/CdTe structured nanoparticles are studied. CdTe/HgTe/CdTe multilayer structured nanoparticles were synthesized by colloidal method. CdTe/HgTe/CdTe multilayer structured nanoparticles were characterized by x-ray diffraction, high-resolution transmission electron microscopy(HRTEM), absorbance and photoluminescence(PL). PL spectrum of CdTe/HgTe/CdTe multilayer structured nanoparticles exhibits a strong exciton bond in the near infrared range. The I-V curves and photoresponses revealed that CdTe/HgTe/CdTe multilayer structured nanoparticles are very prospective materials for the photodetectors.

The near infrared image of GRB100205A field

  • GRB100205A is a Gamma Ray Burst (GRB) which is suspected to be at redshift z=11-13 due to its very red H-K color($(H-K)_{vega}=2.1{\pm}0.5$). We observed a field centered at GRB100205A with Wide Field Camera (WFCAM) at United Kingdom Infrared Telescope (UKIRT) in Hawaii, in order to search a quasar that could be located around the GRB. The images were obtained in J, H, and K filters covering a square area of $0.78deg^2$. Our J-, H-, and K-band data reach the depths of 22.5, 22.1, and 21.0 mag (Vega) at $5{\sigma}$, respectively. Also using z-band image observed by CFHT, we find 8 candidates that have colors consistent with a quasar at z=11-13(non-detection in z-, J-band and $(H-K)_{vega}$ > 1.6). However, the shallow depths of J-, H-band are not enough to verify their true nature. Instead, we identify many red objects to be old or dusty galaxies at $z{\geq}3$. The number density of such objects appears about twice or more than that of the field of Cosmological Evolution Survey (COSMOS) and Ultra Deep Survey (UDS) of UKIRT Infrared deep sky survey (UKIDSS). On scales between 0.18' and 15' the correlation function is well described by a power law with an exponent of ${\approx}-0.9$ and this implies that those objects are like galaxies. It is interesting that many red galaxies exist in the region where the GRB was detected.

졸-겔법에 의한 c-축 배향성을 가진 고투과율 ZnO 박막의 제조 (Sol-gel Derived-highly Transparent c-axis Oriented ZnO Thin Films)

  • 목적: 저온에서 열처리에 의해 소다-라임-실리카 유리 위에 강한 UV방사 나노결정 ZnO박막을 단순하고 효율적 방법으로 개선하고자 한다. 방법: 소다-라임-실리카 유리 위에 코팅되고 전열처리 및 300$^{\circ}C$의 후열처리를 행하여 제조된 나노 결정질 ZnO 박막의 결정 구조적, 표면 형상적 및 광학적 특성을 X-선 회절 분석, 전계방사 주사형 전자 현미경, 원자간력 현미경, ultra violet - visible - near infrared spectrophotometer 및 photoluminescence를 이용하여 분석하였다. 결과: 가시광 영역에서 높은 투과율과 자외부에서 뚜렷한 흡수밴드를 갖는 c-축으로 고배향된 ZnO 박막을 300$^{\circ}C$의 후열처리를 통하여 얻을 수 있었다. 비교적 뚜렷한 near band edge 발광을 보이는 photoluminescence 스펙트럼이 나타났으며, 결함에 의한 완만한 녹색 발광은 거의 관찰되지 않았다. 결론: 앞으로 본 연구는 300$^{\circ}C$ 이하의 저온에서 저렴하고 쉽게 ZnO을 기초로한 광전기 소자에 적용될 것이다.

400℃ 열처리한 삼원화합물 ZnxCd1-xS 박막의 분광학적 특성 연구 (Spectroscopic Characterization of 400℃ Annealed ZnxCd1-xS Thin Films)

  • II~VI족 화합물 반도체 $Zn_xCd_{1-x}S$ 박막을 Indium-tin-oxide(ITO)가 도포된 유리기판 상에 열증발법을 사용하여 증착하였다. 박막의 합성비(molar ratio) x($0{\leq}x{\leq}1$)는 CdS(x=0) 박막과 ZnS(x=1) 박막을 포함하여, 삼원화합물 $Zn_xCd_{1-x}S$ 박막을 제조하기 위하여 변화시켰다. 또한, 증착한 박막의 결정성을 높이기 위하여 진공전기로에서 열처리 하였으며, 분광학적 특성조사를 위해서는 $400^{\circ}C$에서 열처리한 $Zn_xCd_{1-x}S$ 박막이 최적임을 알았다. $Zn_xCd_{1-x}S$ 박막의 합성비(x)와 전자적 구조를 조사하기 위하여 X-선 광전자 분광법(XPS)을 사용하였고, 박막시료의 광학적 에너지 띠 간격 $E_g$는 자외선-가시광-근접 적외선(UV-Vis-NIR) 분광법으로 측정하였으며, 합성비(x)값이 0에서 1까지 변화함에 따라 2.44~3.98 eV 범위의 값을 보여주었다. 끝으로, THz-TDS(Time Domain Spectroscopy) 시스템을 사용하고 $Zn_xCd_{1-x}S$ 박막의 THz파 특성을 측정하여 테라헤르츠(THz) 영역용 전자 및 광학 소자로서 응용가능성을 확인하였다.
