정신치료와 신경생물학적 연구결과의 관계 (The Relationship between Psychotherapy and Neurobiological Findings)

  • The mechanism of psychotherapy is explained by the recent developments in neuroscience and neuroimaging. The purpose of this study is to understand the nature of psychotherapy and to discuss the future of psychotherapy improvement with the help of advances of the neurobiological findings in psychotherapy. For this study, we investigated a wide range of materials. We searched for various researches on psychotherapy, brain, and neurobiology. In addition to the conventional psychodynamic psychotherapy, we investigated research findings on cognitive behavioral therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). Moreover, based on the actual experiences of treating patients, we speculated the neurobiological mechanisms of the process and results of psychotherapy. With the development of neuroscience, we are now able to understand the personal consciousness, unconsciousness and developmental process. Also subdividing the disease is made possible. Personalized treatment has become available, and we are able to predict the prognosis of patients. Our memories are composed by implicit memory and explicit memory. By psychotherapy, we can consciously remember explicit memory, and it becomes easier to explore implicit memory through free association. Through psychotherapy, we will also be able to learn the effect of acquired environment and experience. Psychotherapy is able to correct human behaviors by modifying the memories. Through the regulation of emotions, it becomes possible to modify the memories and correct the behaviors. In this process, doctor-patient relationship is the main factor which cause positive treatment effects. Furthermore imagination therapy or unconscious, non-verbal stimuli could bring about positive treatment effects. Now psychotherapy could be explained and studied by neuroscientific researches. In this sense, we could provide the direction of future advances in neuroscience by the neurobiological understanding of psychotherapy.

기호의 삼분구조에 의한 20세기 여성 패션의 특성 분석 (Charaeteristics of Women′s Fashion in the 20th Century Based on the Threefold Structure of Semiotics)

  • This study purposed to apply function form content, the three concepts that have been discussed by many philosophers since ancient times, to fashion design. Specific research goals are : first, to define fashion design based on the three concepts : and second, to examine how each of the three concepts function-oriented, form-oriented and content-oriented design have been expressed in women's fashion in the $20^{th} century. For these purposes. the author considered Morris' semiotics, which is the theoretical background of the three concepts, reviewed previous researches in design area, and applied the findings to fashion design. According to the result of applying the threefold structure of semiotics. which is the theoretical background of the three concepts, the pragmatic dimension of fashion design comprehends all functional rules related to the use of dress such as body motion and protection, health and safety. air flow and durability, and its syntactic dimension comprehend all the formal elements of visual design such as the structure, shape, line, color and material of dress. The semantic dimension of fashion design includes the symbolic meanings of dress expressed by emotion, sentiment and images. The three dimensions exist interdependently with one another. According to the result of considering the characteristics of the three concepts in the scope of women's fashion in the $20^{th} century. function-oriented design is characterized by practicality and simplicity, and has been expressed as the fashion of functionalism in the 1920s, that of minimalism in the 1960s, and the basic style from 1970s to 1980s, 1990s and the present. Form-oriented design has pursued aestheticism, putting stress upon form, and has been expressed with organic shapes imitating patterns found in nature in the 1950s and with optical art fashion in the 1960s. Content-oriented design attaches importance to transmission of delicate meanings related to the mental world of human beings, and is represented with symbolic forms. Such a characteristic has been expressed in fashion in the early 20th century influenced by surrealism and, with various types of design breaking established forms as well as metaphors and humors that characterize design in the late 20th century.

  • 새로운 미디어의 등장으로 디지털 시대 테크놀로지의 풍요로움 속에 우리의 삶의 변화를 가져왔다. 기술은 발전하면 할수록 우리의 생활은 더욱 새롭고 편리하고 미래지향적인 디지털 시대를 기대하는 반면에, 사람들은 따뜻한 인간의 감수성에 대한 그리움을 갖게 되었다. 모더니즘에 대한 반성으로 나타난 포스트모더니즘과 디지털미디어의 확산을 통해 다양화되는 복잡한 문화 속에서 방황하고 있다. 디지털 시대에 심리적으로 또는 정신적으로 안정을 되찾고 싶어 하는 사람들의 욕구가 생기기 시작하면서 디지털시대의 역기능적인 부분에 대한 문제점이 제시되고 있다. 인간에 대한 감성에 부응하는 사용자의 감성 반응을 고려하는 아날로그 감성디자인이 나타나기 시작했다. 디지털 미디어에 있어서 아날로그감성을 표현하기 위한 실질적인 방향에서의 접근이 시도되어야 한다. 디지털환경에서 아날로그감성은 디지털기술과 커뮤니케이션의 특성과 사람들의 기호와 정서적인 측면을 조화시켜나가면서 새롭게 확장, 변화하고 있으며, 진화하는 아날로그 감성디자인에 대한 새로운 가능성과 발전성을 살펴보고자 한다.

흑색의상의 조형성과 상징성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Formality and Symbolism in Black Dress)

  • Since the costume directly express human mental and emotional status, colors of costume can be valuable data to grasp the spirit of the times. Black is noticeably used in modern fashion and the study for black costume is very useful to understand modern fashion. There-fore the study mainly approaches the black costume, finding its background of appearance and symbolism, reviews the symbolism and formality of black expressed in the field of paint-ing and design beyond the fashion, and compar-es to fashion. The study result of the thesis is as follows ; First, black as a color is a one to light other neighboring colors, while it is a static, con-tractible and outstandigly attractived color. Second, black color traditionally symbolizes death, earth, air, North and inferior level and in the painting, it symbolized death, despair, fantastic world and the expression of pent-up self, while cities have been symbolized in the black printing in modern times. In the design, black has appeared with the industrial society, which symbolizes functionality and modernity. Third, black in the fashion design was symbolized death, sternness simplicity, modernity, sex, resistance and so on. Death became conspicious by a religious factor since the old times, sternness was influenced by Spanish fashion in the 16th century, simplicity by Dutch fashion in the 17th century and modernity by Baudelaire dandyism and Chanel little black dress, while sex and resistance were urged to the modern times by teenage inferior culture and stickiness to sex. Fourth, the formative features of black costume prefer simplicity, tightness and bareness in form, and in material, usually used glancing materials changed by the effect of light, lace, see-through fabric and matte one with depth. As a result, the black color is summarized to symbol death, expression of self and modernity. It is not a color of emotion but of mentality and artificial one against nature. Black color in fashion gets a strong power to express self in the symbolic aspect and draws a higher attention on human body than the fashion itself. By these features, black costume will be continuously prefered in spite of changes of the fashion.

소양인(少陽人) 병리론(病理論)에 관한 고찰(考察) (The Study on the Pathology of Soyangin in Sasang Constitutional Medicine (SCM))

  • 1. Objectives: This research was proposed to find out the pathology of Soyangin in Sasang Constitutional Medicine(SCM). 2. Methods: The related contents of the pathology of Soyangin were selected in Je-Ma Lee's literatures such as "Dongmu-YuGo(東武遺稿)"(DYG), "Donguisusebowon-SaSangchobongyun(東醫壽世保元四象草本卷)"(DSS), "Donguisusebowon-GabObon(東醫壽世保元甲午本)"(DGO), "Donguisusebowon-ShinChukbon(東醫壽世保元辛丑本)"(DSC), and the research was written in order to find out the physiology and pathology of Soyangin in SCM. 3. Results and Conclusions: The chronical change of pathologic concept in Soyangin diseases as follows : Pathology in Soyangin diseases was much Hot Qi(熱氣), and more ascending Qi, less descending Qi in DYG, DSS. In "Discourse on the viscera and bowels" of DGO and DSC, Soyangin has a circulation of Water-Food Hot Qi of Spleen Group(脾黨) and Water-Food Cold Qi of Kidney Group(腎黨). Exterior Disease(表病) was the injury of Exterior-Qi such as mouth-hip Qi(口膀胱氣) by Anger-Nature-Qi(怒性氣), and Interior Disease(裏病) was the injury of Interior-Qi such as kidney-large intestine Qi(腎大腸氣) by Sorrow-Emotion-Qi(哀情氣). All diseases of Soyangin are caused by insufficient Cool Yin Qi(陰淸之氣) in Kidney Group(腎黨), so the pathology of Soyangin was focused on Requisite energy(保命之主) and each small viscera and bowels(偏小之臟). In this viewpoint, the schema of Soyangin diseases such as Soyangsangpoong-syndrome(少陽傷風證), Kyulhyung-syndrome(結胸證), Mangeum-syndrome(亡陰證), Hyungkyukyeol-syndrome(胸膈熱證), Sogal-syndrome(消渴證) and Eumhuoyeol-syndrome(陰虛午熱證) were designed to explain the mechanism of each syndrome.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 앞으로 지속될 전통도구의 미적 체험에 관한 새로운 인식을 체계화하는데 있다. 아름다움의 이상을 실현하기 위한 노력은 시대와 사회를 막론하고 끊임없이 다양한 형태로 표출되었다. 서로 다른 문화권에서 각기 다른 언어가 사용되듯이 도구 또한 고유한 형태언어를 갖는다. 시각적 의사소통을 전제하는 도구의 형태언어 또한 고유한 어휘와 문법을 갖는다. 우리는 종종 언어의 코드가 일치하지 않는 상황에서 타 문화권의 사고방식과 행동특성을 충분히 이해하는데 어려움을 느끼는 것 처럼 이해의 상황이 준비되지 않고는 진실한 미적 체험에 도달할 수 없다. 도구형태의 미적 가치를 올바로 인식하기 위해서는 도구의 탄생과 진화를 추진해 온 상황과의 역학관계를 인식하여야 한다. 어느 문화권이나 시대를 막론하고 그들이 설정한 에토스에 가장 진실하게 접근하고 그것을 가장 진실하게 표출해 온 도구들은 오랫동안 우리에게 사랑을 받고 보존되어 왔다. 그것은 아름다움을 추구하는 여성의 의복이나 장신구와 같은 미적 대상 뿐 아니라 언어와 같이 그들의 공동체의식을 가장 잘 표현하고 전달할 수 있는 것이라면 시대와 정신이 바뀌어도 변함없는 가치를 발휘할 것이다.

  • 본 논문은 <셰익스피어 인 러브> 시청자가 영화를 보는 과정에서 어떻게 스토리를 이해하고 감흥하는 지, 영화의 인물관계망을 중심으로 관객의 인지 감성 스키를 분석하는 데에 목적이 있다. 본 논문에서는 4개의 인물관계망 그림을 절차적으로 제시함으로써, 이들은 왜, 그리고 어떻게 셰익스피어가 "로미오와 줄리엣"이라는 불후의 명작을 젊은 나이에 성숙하게 비극으로 만들어 낼 수 있었는지에 대한 스토리 개연적 증거를 제시한다. 필자는 주인공 셰익스피어의 심리를 라캉의 "주체의 열망" 이론을 방법론으로, 셰익스피어의 글쓰기 과정이 셰익스피어로 하여금 영국 르네상스 시기의 대가로 도약하는 계기임을 분석했다. 본 연구는 어떻게 셰익스피어가 엘리자베스 여왕 영국 제국주의의 전성기 시대에 비올라를 욕망의 주체로 삼아서, 크리스토퍼 말로를 제치고 상류 사회로의 진입을 통해 예술적 대가로 도약하게 되었는지, 시청자의 스토리텔링 아키텍처를 인지 감성 과정으로 분석하였다.

  • 얼마 전 세상은 제임스 카메론의 최근작인 <아바타>에서 디지털 액터의 성공적인 출현을 목격하였다. 이런 디지털 애니메이션 캐릭터의 탄생은 영상 표현 기술의 발전에 의해 갑자기 만들어진 것이 아니다. 과거 애니메이션 영상과 실사영상의 결합을 시도했던 수많은 노력들이 테크놀로지의 발전과 맞물려 영상산업계의 커다란 변화를 가져올만한 성과를 이루어낸 것이다. 이런 시도들의 선봉에 선 사람들 중, 지속적으로 주목할 만한 성과를 낸 대표적인 감독이 두 명 있다. 제임스 카메론 감독과 로버트 저메키스 감독이다. 영상 테크놀로지에 대한 지속적인 캐릭터 표현 연구와 노력이 작품을 통해 상당히 오랜 기간 동안 나타났다. 영상 테크놀로지의 역할에 대한 이해에 있어서 두 감독은 서로 다른 시각을 가지고 있었던 것으로 보인다. 실제로 테크놀로지를 대하는 자세의 차이가 결국 두 감독의 최근 작품에서 매우 다른 결과를 가져 온 것으로 생각된다. 본문에서는 영상 테크놀로지 이용을 중심으로 두 감독의 작품들을 비교, 분석해보고자 한다. 두 감독이 시도했던 애니메이션과 실사영상의 결합에 대한 진보적인 성과들, 또 영화 제작에 있어서 테크놀로지의 역할을 인식하는 자세의 차이를 알아보는 것은 향후 끊임없이 계속될 새로운 영상 기술의 출현을 맞이해야 하는 우리 영상산업계의 기술수용과 대응에 있어서도 그 의미를 찾을 수 있다고 본다.

지황백호탕(地黃白虎湯)으로 호전된 고관절 통증 환자 치험례 (A Clinical Study of Hip Joint Pain Improved with Gihwangbaekho-tang)

  • 1. Objectives The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Gihwangbaekho-tang which is based on the Sasang Constitutional Medicine for the patient who has suffered from hip joint pain. 2. Methods The subject is about 86-year-old patient suffering from hip joint pain who was diagnosed as Soyangin interior over heated disease based on his Nature & Emotion, physical characteristics, symptoms, and we have prescribed Gihwangbaekho-tang. We used Visual analogue scale(VAS) for the assessment of Hip joint pain. 3. Results and Conclusions The patient was treated with Gihwangbaekho-tang and hip joint pain, thirst, redness of the face, constipation and general condition were improved. This study describes tile improvement of Hip joint pain and the change of symptoms by using Gihwangbaekho-tang. In this study, we applied Gihwangbaekho-tang to 86-year-old patient for about forty days, and Gihwangbaekho-tang didn't cause any serious side effect on the patient.

All diseases of Soeumin are caused by insufficient Warm Yang Qi(陽煖之氣) in Spleen Group(脾黨), so the pathology of Soeumin was focused on Requisite energy(保命之主) and each small viscera and bowels(偏小之臟). In this viewpoint, the schema of Soeumin diseases such as Ulkwang-syndrome(鬱狂證), Mangyang-syndrome(亡陽證), Taeum-syndrome(太陰證) and Soeum-syndrome(少陰證) were designed to explain the mechanism of each syndrome.
