In this study, an investigation on mechanical properties of flax natural fiber composite is performed as a precedent study on the design of eco-friendly structure using flax natural fiber composite. The Vacuum Assisted Resin Transfer Molding-Light (VARTML) manufacturing method is adopted for manufacturing the flax fiber composite panel. The VARTML is a manufacturing process that the resin is injected into the dry layered -up fibers enclosed by a rigid mold tool under vacuum. In this work, the resin flow analysis of VARTM manufacturing method is performed. A series of flax composite panels are manufactured, and several kinds of specimens cut out from the panels are tested to obtain mechanical performance data. Based on this, structural design of chemical storage tank for agricultural vehicle was performed using flax/vinyl ester. After structural design and analysis, the resin flow analysis of VARTM manufacturing method was performed.

한국어 의존 파싱에서는 불필요한 의존관계의 과다한 생성과 이에 따른 다수의 구문분석 결과 생성에 대처하는 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 한국어 의존 파싱 과정에서 생기는 불 필요한 의존관계에 따른 다수의 후보 의존 트리들에 대하여 통계/의미 정보를 활용하여 최적 트리를 결정하는 구문 분석 방법을 제안한다. 본 논문의 구문 분석에서 사용하는 통계/의미 정보는 구문구조부착 말뭉치(Tree Tagged Corpus)를 이용하여 구축한 술어 하위범주화 정보 사전에서 얻었으며, 이러한 정보를 활용한 구문 분석은 한국어 구문 분석의 모호성 해소에 적용되어 한국어 구문 분석의 정확도를 높인다.

최근 컴퓨터를 이용하여 효과적인 트레이드를 하려는 투자자들이 늘고 있다. 본 논문에서는 많은 인공지능 방법론 중에서 강화학습(reinforcement learning)을 이용하여 효과적으로 트레이딩하는 방법에 대해서 다루려한다. 특히 강화학습 중에서 natural policy gradient를 이용하여 actor의 파라미터를 업데이트하고, value function을 효과적으로 추정하기 위해 RLS(recursive least-squares) 기법으로 critic 부분을 업데이트하는 RLS 기반 natural actor-critic 알고리즘을 이용하여 트레이딩을 수행하는 전략에 대한 가능성을 살펴 보기로 한다.

We describe a multigrid wavelet-based natural pixel (WNP) method for image reconstruction in emission computed tomography (ECT). The ECT is used to identify the tagged radioactive material's position in the body for detection of abnormal tissue such as tumor or cancer, as in SPECT and PET. With ECT methodology in parallel beam mode, we formulate a matrix-based reconstruction method for radionuclide sources in the human body. The resulting matrix for a practical problem is very large and nearly singular. To overcome this ill-conditioning, wavelet transform is considered in this study. Wavelets have inherent de-noising and multiscale resolution properties. Therefore, the multigrid wavelet-based natural pixel (WNP) method is very efficient to reconstruct image from projection data that is noisy and incomplete. We test this multigrid wavelet natural pixel (WNP) reconstruction method with the MCNP generated projection data for diagnosis of the simulated cancerous tumor.

The wood veneers were clearly rainbow-colored with natural dyes. As shown through Korean-style jacket with stripes of multi-colors beyond traditional obang colors (red, blue, yellow, black and white colors), eco-friendly coloring methods representing Korean colors familiar from old times could be used nobly by coloring natural wood veneer being raw material of wood products. In terms of industrialization, the study to manifest korean color, substituting chemical stains such as dye and pigment, would be necessary. In order to realize this purpose, the study about economical dyeing materials and characteristics, that is, mordant, dyeing and drying techniques showing environment-friendly coloring and high coloration level ought to be followed. In addition to this, investigating discoloration transition by fading test for interior and exterior uses would have to be carried out.

Five new sesquiterpene alkaloids, euojaponine-D, -F, -G, -J, and -K were isolated from the root bark of Euonymus japonica Thunb, and their structures were elucidated by various spectroscopic methods.

The Raf, a cytoplasmic serine/thereonine protein kinase, acts as an important mediator of signals involving cell proliferation, differentiation and development. Multiple regulatory elements should participate in the expression of D-raf, Drosophila homolog of human c-raf-1. In order to search regulatory factors involved in the D-raf promoter activation, we accomplished the yeast one-hybrid screening using D-raf promoter region from bp-330 to -309 with respect to the transcription initiation site as bait. After screening, sixteen independent positive clones of ${\beta}$-galactosidase activties were identified and sequenced. Two clones having 94-98% identity with daughterless and one clone having 93% identity with escargot by Blast search among these clones were screened.
