VR기반 안전 교육콘텐츠 현황과 전망 (The Current Situation and Prospect of Safety Education Contents based on VR)

  • 최근, VR기반 안전교육에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있지만, 그 실효성에 대한 의구심이 많아지고 있다. 이에 VR을 활용한 안전교육콘텐츠의 현황을 파악하고 이를 바탕으로 제언 및 VR안전교육의 전망을 제시하는 것을 목적으로 하고자 한다. VR기반 안전 교육콘텐츠 개발사례를 살펴본 결과, VR 환경에서 캐릭터의 움직임이나 상태는 매우 부자연스러웠다. 특히 VR기기의 콘트롤러는 운전을 하는 등의 시뮬레이션에서는 운전조작이 실제와 다르기 때문에 효율성에 대한 회의감이 들었다. 그 결과, 다음과 같이 제언 및 전망을 하고자 한다. 첫째. 실제와 VR의 트원 환경 제작이 실현되어야 한다. 둘째, 캐릭터의 자연스러운 움직임이 실현되어야 한다. 셋째, VR기기에서 다양한 콘트롤러가 출시되어야 한다. 넷째, 현실에 적합한 시나리오 설계를 하여야 한다.

동작관찰훈련이 뇌졸중 환자의 일어서기 동작 시 근수축 개시시간과 비대칭성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Action Observational Training on Muscle Onset Time and Asymmetry to Stand Up in with Stroke Patients)

  • Purpose: To investigate the effect of action observation training on the muscle onset time and symmetrical use of rectus femoris(RF) and gastrocnemius medialis(GCM) during sit-to-stand (STS). Methods: Sixteen patients with stroke entered a single-blind trial and were randomly assigned to the experimental(Action) or control(Landscape) groups. Those in the Action observation group watched video clips showing specific movement and strategies to STS, wheas those in the control group watched video clips of static pictures showing differnet landscapes. All patients was measured the EMG data in the STS on the affected side and unaffected side. The EMG data were collected from RF and GCM while performing the STS task. The EMG onset time and onset time ratio for the RF and GCM were calculated by dividing the EMG onset time of RF and GCM action on the affected side by these on the unaffected side. Results: Onset time of affected side RF, GCM was significantly faster action observation training group than control group(p<.05). But interventions before and after the symmetry did not show a significant increase. Conclusion: There findings suggest that action observation training has a positive effect on the muscle onset time shortened during STS tasks.

라파엘전파와 감각적인 것의 나눔 (Pre-Raphaelites and The Distribution of the Sensible)

  • The essay discusses the way in which the aesthetic of Pre-Raphaelites reformulates the habitual system of knowledge in the Victorian age by adapting $Ranci{\acute{e}}re^{\prime}s$ concept of aesthetics. $Ranci{\acute{e}}re$ develops an original theory of aesthetics, a regime of knowledge which enables to perceive and reflect art as such. In this way, aesthetics turns to be the logical system by which the consensus idea of the beautiful comes to exist. For $Ranci{\acute{e}}re$, aesthetics is an agreed system of the sensible and reproduces the habitual knowledge of the world. Therefore, a new aesthetic movement means an attempt to break the given aesthetics and reorients the new distribution of the sensible. The important point of $Ranci{\acute{e}}re^{\prime}s$ argument is that he does not presuppose the dimension beyond the present unlike Frankfurt School. What $Ranci{\acute{e}}re$ claims is that there is no such the aesthetic which can correct the instrumental reason, but rather an indifferent moment in which a worker finds out himself as a creator who can give rise to the new regime of the sensible and feels free from what he must work for. From this perspective, the essay explores the aesthetic of Pre-Raphaelites and its meaning in nineteenth century Britain. Pre-Raphaelites was an artist group who railed against a so-called academic style of paintings and created a new aesthetic criterion to describe the truth of the natural world. The essay examines the interrelationship between Pre-Raphaelites and photography that would enable them to re-distribute the sensible and produce a new way of seeing the order of things. This is related to the birth of a modern gaze as in the case of landscape paintings. What is crucial is that the distribution of the sensible is always-already doubled with the political. In short, Pre-Raphaeltes is not only an aesthetic movement but also a political pursuit to achieve a disenchanted perception of nineteenth century industrial capitalism.

Safety and antifatigue effect of Korean Red Ginseng capsule: A randomized, double-blind and placebo-controlled clinical trial

  • Background: In physical activity or labor, the human body is in a state of high intensity stress, and all parts or physiological functions of the body respond positively to maintain or balance the need for movement. The human body has many physiological changes in the process of movement, and fatigue is the external manifestation of various complex changes inside the human body. Fatigue is also a physiological mechanism of self-protection after the body reaches a certain level of activity, which can prevent the occurrence of life-threatening excessive functional failure. The generation of fatigue is a very complex process, and its mechanism has not been concluded yet. Therefore, it is an important work to search and screen the effective components of natural plants that have anti-fatigue effect and to explore their mechanism. Methods: This was a 8-week, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial. A total of 110 subjects who passed physical examination were included according to the scheme design, and randomly divided into a test group which was given KRG and a placebo control group. The calculation is carried out according to the standard of sub-high-intensity exercise test. Results: There was no adverse effect on safety index of subjects after taking red ginseng capsule. After KRG treatment, subjective strength grade is significant lower than placebo treatment. Blood lactic acid content is significantly get lower after trial in KRG group, and significant lower than placebo group. Creatine phosphokinase(CK) content is significantly get lower after trial in KRG group, and significant lower than placebo group. Conclusion: According to the criterion in the test scheme, the result shows that KRG is helpful on relieving physical fatigue.

Longevity, tumor, and physical vitality in rats consuming ginsenoside Rg1

  • Background: Effects of the major ginsenoside Rg1 on mammalian longevity and physical vitality are rarely reported. Purpose: To examine longevity, tumor, and spontaneous locomotor activity in rats consuming Rg1. Methods: A total of 138 Wistar rats were randomized into 2 groups: control (N = 69) and Rg1 (N = 69). Rg1 (0.1 mg/kg per day) were orally supplemented from 6 months of age until natural death. Spontaneous mobility was measured by video-tracking together with body composition (dual energy x-ray absorptiometry) and inflammation markers at 5, 14, 21, and 28 months of age. Results: No significant differences in longevity (control: 706 days; Rg1: 651 days, p = 0.77) and tumor incidence (control: 19%; Rg1: 12%, p = 0.24) were observed between the two groups. Movement distance in the control group declined significantly by ~60% at 21 months of age, together with decreased TNF-α (p = 0.01) and increased IL-10 (p = 0.02). However, the movement distance in the Rg1 group was maintained ~50% above the control groups (p = 0.01) at 21 months of age with greater magnitudes of TNF-α decreases and IL-10 increases. Glucose, insulin, and body composition (bone, muscle and fat percentages) were similar for both groups during the entire observation period. Conclusion: The results of the study suggest a delay age-dependent decline in physical vitality during late life by lifelong Rg1 consumption. This improvement is associated with inflammatory modulation. Significant effects of Rg1 on longevity and tumorigenesis were not observed.

인공지능 기반 손 체스처 인식 정보를 활용한 지능형 인터페이스 (Intelligent interface using hand gestures recognition based on artificial intelligence)

  • 인공지능에 기반한 손 제스처 인식 정보를 활용한 지능형 인터페이스 알고리즘을 제안한다. 이 방법은 기능적으로 사용자 손 제스처의 추적 및 인식을 미디어파이프와 KNN, LSTM, CNN의 인공지능 기법을 사용해 다양한 동작을 빠르고 지능적으로 인식되는 인터페이스이다. 제안한 알고리즘 성능 평가를 위해 자체 제작한 2D 탑뷰 레이싱 게임과 로봇제어에 적용한다. 알고리즘 적용 결과 게임의 가상 객체의 다양한 움직임을 세밀하고 강건하게 제어할 수 있었으며, 실세계의 로봇 제어에 적용한 결과 이동과 정지, 좌회전, 우회전 등의 제어가 가능하였다. 또한 게임의 메인 캐릭터와 실세계 로봇을 동시에 제어하여 가상과 현실의 공존공간 상황 제어를 위한 지능형 인터페이스로 최적화된 동작도 구현하였다. 제안한 알고리즘은 신체를 활용한 자연스럽고 직관적 특성과 손가락의 미세한 움직임 인식에 따른 정교한 제어가 가능하며, 빠른 기간 내에 숙련되는 장점이 있어 지능형 사용자 인터페이스 개발을 위한 기본자료로 활용될 수 있다.

자연치 교합조정에 의한 전치, 구치 개교합의 보철적 수복 - 수직고경의 의도적 감소증례 (Occlusal Adjustment and Prosthodontic Reconstruction on the Open-bite Patient. - Intentional Decrease of Occlusal Vertical Dimension -)

  • A well-planned, precise occlusal adjustment of natural teeth has some distinct advantages over other forms of occlusal therapy. It should be emphasized, however, that an occlusal adjustment is an irreversible procedure and has definite contraindications in some mouths. Generally, the treatment methods for the patients that has open-bite will be following as below. : (1) Use of removable orthopedic repositioning appliance, (2) Orthodontics, (3) Full or partial reconstruction of the dentition, (4) Orthognathic surgical procedure, (5) Occlusal adjustment of the existing natural teeth, (6) Any combination of the above. Above all, the advantages of occlusal adjustment of natural teeth are : (1) the patient is more able to adapt to the changes in jaw position and posture; (2) the phonetic or speaking ability of the patient is not significantly changed and usually is improved; (3) the esthetics of the natural teeth is not altered and often is better; (4) the hygiene of the individual teeth is easily maintained; and (5) the functional usage of the teeth as cutting and chewing devices is markedly improved. The objective of an occlusal adjustment, as with any form of occlusal therapy, is to correct or remove the occlusal interferences, or premature contacts, on the occluding parts of the teeth which prevent a centric relation closure of the mandible. A systematic, disciplined approach can be followed in treatment, the objectives should be listed. They are : (1) Centric relation occlusion of the posterior teeth. (2) Proper "coupling" of the anterior teeth. (3) An acceptable disclusive angle of the anterior teeth in harmony with the condylar movement patterns. (4) Stability of the corrected occlusion. (5) Resolution of the related symptoms. For the patient with open-bite on anterior and posterior teeth, this case report shows the treatment methods in combination the fixed prosthesis with the selective cutting of the natural teeth. Occlusal adjustment is no longer an elective procedure but a mandatory one for patients requiring restorations and those in treatment for TMD dysfunctions or those whose dentitions show signs of occlusal trauma. Occlusal adjustment is essential for all who do not display the above lists.

천연방벽 내 암반 절리의 수리-역학적 조건에서의 마찰회복 거동에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Frictional Healing Behavior of Rock Joints in the Natural Barriers under Hydro-Mechanical Conditions)

  • 고준위방사성폐기물의 심층처분시스템에서 천연방벽은 처분시설을 물리적으로 지지함과 동시에 방사성 핵종의 이동을 지연시키는 역할을 최소 수십만년 이상 수행해야 한다. 천연방벽의 지구조적 장기진화평가를 위해서는 암반 절리의 장기거동 분석이 필수적이며, 여기에는 마찰회복 거동이 포함된다. 본 연구에서는 암반 절리의 수리-역학적 조건 하 마찰회복 거동을 슬라이드-홀드-슬라이드(slide-hold-slide, SHS) 실험을 통해 실험적으로 분석해 보고자 하였으며, 이를 위해 서로 다른 거칠기의 절리 시험편을 대상으로 역학적 및 수리-역학적 조건에서 SHS 실험을 수행하였다. 수리-역학적 조건에서 마찰회복률은 더 증가하는 경향을 보였으며, 이는 거칠기가 큰 시험편에서 더 분명하게 나타났다. 또한, 절리면에 작용하는 유효 수직응력이 작은 경우에 수리-역학적 조건의 영향이 더 크게 작용함을 확인할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과들은 천연방벽 암반 절리의 마찰회복 거동을 파악하는 데 유용한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

한국인 조현병 환자에서 Chromogranin B 유전자와 안구운동 이상의 연합에 대한 연구 (Association Analysis between Chromogranin B Genetic Variations and Smooth Pursuit Eye Movement Abnormality in Korean Patients with Schizophrenia)

  • Objectives According to previous studies, the Chromogranin B (CHGB) gene could be an important candidate gene for schizophrenia which is located on chromosome 20p12.3. Some studies have linked the polymorphism in CHGB gene with the risk of schizophrenia. Meanwhile, smooth pursuit eye movement (SPEM) abnormality has been regarded as one of the most consistent endophenotype of schizophrenia. In this study, we investigated the association between the polymorphisms in CHGB gene and SPEM abnormality in Korean patients with schizophrenia. Methods We measured SPEM function in 24 Korean patients with schizophrenia (16 male, 8 female) and they were divided according to SPEM function into two groups, good and poor SPEM function groups. We also investigated genotypes of polymorphisms in CHGB gene in each group. A logistic regression analysis was performed to find the association between SPEM abnormality and the number of polymorphism. Results The natural logarithm value of signal/noise ratio (Ln S/N ratio) of good SPEM function group was $4.19{\pm}0.19$ and that of poor SPEM function group was $3.17{\pm}0.65$. In total, 15 single nucleotide polymorphisms of CHGB were identified and the genotypes were divided into C/C, C/R, and R/R. Statistical analysis revealed that two genetic variants (rs16991480, rs76791154) were associated with SPEM abnormality in schizophrenia (p = 0.004). 학문(學問) 개념의 근대적 변환 - '격치(格致)', '궁리(窮理)' 개념을 중심으로 - (How has 'Hakmun'(學問, learning) become converted into a modern concept? focused on 'gyeogchi'(格致) and 'gungni'(窮理))

  • 근대 이전 동아시아 유교문화권의 지적 체계와 학문은 인간과 자연을 통일체적으로 사유하는 가운데 인간의 본성을 발현함으로써 사회적 실천을 도모하는 것이었다. 특히 주자에 의해 집대성된 송대 신유학은 '이기(理氣)' 개념으로 인간과 사회, 우주와 자연을 일통의 유기적 구조로 설명하였으며, 이러한 철학체계 내에서 인간학과 자연학은 통합되어 있었다. 동서의 충돌과 교류는 동아시아의 지적 체계에 균열을 일으켰고, 전통적 학문 개념의 전이와 변용을 가져왔다. 개화와 진보의 욕망을 내면화하고, 동도(東道)와 서기(西器), 신학(新學)과 구학(舊學) 논쟁을 거치면서 유학은 비판과 쇄신, 부정과 폐기의 대상이 되었다. 인간 본성의 자각과 도덕 실천의 이상(理想)은 문명개화와 근대 국가 설립의 제한적 수단으로만 논의될 뿐 더 이상 학문의 본령으로서 위상을 갖지 못했다. 서구 근대의 광휘는 전근대 동아시아 사회를 규준했던 학문의 내용과 방법은 물론 목적까지 변화시켰다. 근대 계몽기 서구 문명 수용과정에서 한자(어)로 구성된 전통 학술 용어나 개념은 외래 학문을 번역, 소개하는데 여전히 유효한 기제였다. '격치(格致)'와 '궁리(窮理)'는 자주 인용되었는데, 인간과 우주 만물에 내재한 본성을 탐구하는 전통적 의미는 점차 퇴색되고, '격치학(格致學)', '궁리학(窮理學)' 등 개별 학문을 지칭하는 명사로 변환되었으며, 때때로 철학(philosophy), 과학(science) 등 상이한 학문 영역을 넘나들며 사용되었다. 학문 개념과 지적 체계의 이러한 변동은 외래 학문의 수용 양상을 보여주는 한편 동아시아 전통 학문이 지닌 특성을 드러낸다. 이제 가치와 사실의 분리, 인간학과 자연학의 분리, 학문의 분과화를 진행해 온 근대학문은 또 하나의 전통이 되었고, 계승과 극복의 양가적 대상이다.
