국립세종도서관은 국내외 정책정보 개발 및 제공이라는 핵심기능을 원활하게 수행하기 위하여 정책정보 개발에 있어서의 체계성과 실천적 전략 확보가 필수적이다. 즉 국립세종도서관이 범정부차원의 정책정보 특화도서관이라는 본질적 정체성을 정립하고 서비스 역량을 극대화하기 위해서는 국립세종도서관 중장기 발전계획에 입각한 정책정보개발 전략을 모색하고 이를 토대로 한 장서개발정책을 수립하여 실무에 적용해야 한다. 이에 이 연구에서는 국립세종도서관의 정책정보 개발을 위한 전략을 제안하고 이를 통하여 국립세종도서관이 '정책정보 특화도서관'이라는 정체성을 확립할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 구체적으로 정책정보 특화형 전문 장서의 필요성과 개발 방안, 그리고 정책정보와 일반자료를 대상으로 하는 장서개발정책 기본지침과 정책정보에 특화된 장서개발정책의 실천적 세부지침으로 나누어 수행할 것을 제안하였다.

This study is an attempt at developing an organizational model for collection development a n.0, pplicable to Korean university libraries at their present stage of development. An emphasis is placed on the discussion of the 'subject a n.0, pproach' as compared to 'functional a n.0, pproach' in collection development work. The case history of Pusan National University Library is extensively used. The proposed collection development model consists of the following elements : - To form a collection development team and to place under the team leader subject bibliographers as follows: Bibliographer for Serials Bibliographer for Humanities Bibliographer for Social Sciences Bibliographer for Sciences and Technologies - Collection development team could operate as a separate department or as part of other departments, i. e., Deputy Director's office, Acquisitions and Processing Department, or Resources Management Department. - Collection development team takes up the responsibility for policyrelated collection work, i. e., budget allocation, evaluation of existing collection, building core collection, preservation, weeding and cooperation. - Designated certified librarians located at the(planned) subject libraries take up the responsibility for selection. Subject bibliographers cooperate with selection librarians and coordinate their work. - Certified librarians at the Acquisitions and Processing Department are assigned subject areas. They operate as acquisitions librarian and processing librarian simultaneously with their assigned subject materials.

Sesame (Sesamum indicum L.) is one of the most important oilseed crops with high oil contents and rich nutrient value. The development of a core collection could facilitate easier access to sesame genetic resources for their use in crop improvement programs and simplify the genebank management. The present study was initiated to the development and evaluation of a core collection of sesame based on 5 qualitative and 10 quantitative trait descriptors on 2,751 sesame accessions. The accessions were different countries of origin. About 10.1 percent of accessions were selected by using the power core program to constitute a core collection consisting of 278 accessions. Mean comparisons using t-test, Nei's diversity index of 10 morphological descriptors and correlation coefficients among traits indicated that the existing genetic variation for these traits in the entire collection has been preserved in the core collection. The results from this study will provide effective information for future germplasm conservation and improvement programs in sesame.

본 연구의 목적은 도서관 장서개발정책 성명서를 준비하는 우리나라 도서관을 위한 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 이를 위하여 선행연구를 토대로 선정한 10가지 항목을 사용하여 국가도서관 5곳과 공공도서관 2곳을 사례연구방법으로 조사분석하였다. 사례들의 특징과 조사항목 분석을 통해서 5가지 지침을 제안하였다.

이 연구의 목적은 국립어린이청소년도서관이 어린이 청소년 서비스를 책임지는 국가도서관으로 자리매김하는데 있어서 가장 중요한 구성요소이며 핵심역량 제고의 원천이 될 중장기 장서개발의 마스터플랜을 제시하는데 있다. 즉, 어린이 청소년을 위한 지식정보서비스의 허브 및 관련 학술연구정보를 제공하는 핵심기관으로서의 역할을 수행하는데 필수적인 장서개발정책을 수립 제안하는 것이다. 구체적으로, 주요 어린이 청소년 도서관의 장서개발정책을 조사, 분석하여 국립어린이청소년도서관 장서개발의 기본원칙과 개발지침을 설정하고 이를 근거로 국내외 어린이자료, 청소년자료, 연구자료, 전자자료 및 멀티미디어자료, 그리고 특수범주자료 등을 대상으로 하는 최적 정책모형을 제안하며, 장서개발 실무에 적용할 수 있도록 각종 세부지침을 제시하였다.

Agaricus bisporus, commonly known as the button mushroom, is widely cultivated throughout the world. To breed new strains with more desirable traits and improved adaptability, diverse germplasm, including wild accessions, is a valuable genetic resource. To better understand the genetic diversity available in A. bisporus and identify previously unknown diversity within accessions, a phylogenetic analysis of 360 Agaricus spp. accessions using single-nucleotide polymorphism genotyping was performed. Genetic relationships were compared using principal coordinate analysis (PCoA) among accessions with known origins and accessions with limited collection data. The accessions clustered into four groups based on the PCoA with regard to genetic relationships. A subset of 67 strains, which comprised a core collection where repetitive and uninformative accessions were not included, clustered into 7 groups following analysis. Two of the 170 accessions with limited collection data were identified as wild germplasm. The core collection allowed for the accurate analysis of A. bisporus genetic relationships, and accessions with an unknown pedigree were effectively grouped, allowing for origin identification, by PCoA analysis in this study.

본 연구의 목적은 단위 학교도서관에서 장서관리정책을 수립할 때 근거 및 기준으로 삼을 수 있는 국가 수준의 학교도서관 장서관리지침서에 포함할 구체적인 항목과 내용 요소를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 학교도서관 장서관리 관련 문서를 국제 수준 및 국가 수준으로 나누어 분석하였다. 분석 결과 해외 장서관리지침서에서는 장서의 양적 기준 이외에 디지털 정보자원에 대한 접근성과 자원 공유를 강조하고 있으며, 이의 제기 자료에 대한 처리 절차를 규정하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구에서는 국가 수준의 학교도서관 장서관리지침서가 포함해야 할 항목을 크게 장서관리의 일반 원칙과 장서관리지침으로 구분하고 각 항목별 내용 요소를 제안하였다. 그리고 국가 수준의 장서관리지침서가 학교 현장에 효율적으로 적용할 수 있는 제도적 기반 마련 방안을 제안하였다.

Industrial Technology Development Program enables the recipient to set up technology infrastructure and to facilitate technology diffusion. In return, government charges royalty from the program recipient. However, the current royalty system is not in the effective form. This study analyzes the various aspects of royalty collection methods applied to the Industrial Technology Development Program and recommend the following: (1) employ the combination of fixed amount royalty and running royalty with predetermined portion of revenue generated, (2) adjust the royalty collection duration by applying product life cycle, and (3) devise new program to link extra-gain from royalty collection with commercialization and other means to increase the effectiveness of research and development activities.

A new species named Aspergillus cumulatus sp. nov. is described in Aspergillus section Aspergillus (Eurotium state). The type strain (KACC $47316^T$) of this species was isolated from rice straw used in meju fermentations in Korea, and other strains were isolated from the air in a meju fermentation room. The species is characterized by growth at a wide range of water activities and the formation of aerial hyphae on malt extract 60% sucrose agar (ME60S) that resemble a cumulus cloud. Furthermore, A. cumulatus produces yellow ascomata containing small lenticular ascospores (5.1-5.7 ${\mu}m$) with a wide furrow, low equatorial crests, and tuberculate convex surface. The species is phylogenetically distinct from the other reported Aspergillus section Aspergillus species based on multilocus sequence typing using rDNA-ITS, ${\beta}$-tubulin, calmodulin, and RNA polymerase II genes.

문화체육관광부 1차 소속기관으로 격상된 국립장애인도서관이 현 단계 가장 주력해야 할 과제는 독립청사 확보와 함께 전국장애인서비스를 총괄·선도하기 위한 전제조건으로서의 국내외 장애인자료를 전략적으로 수집하는 것이다. 본 연구는 국립장애인 도서관의 독립청사 건립 준비 및 외연 확대를 위하여 수집할 자료의 기초목록을 제시하였다. 법적 제약과 현실적 한계로 인하여 국립장애인도서관이 장애인자료를 수집하기 위해서는 연차적으로 자료구입비를 투입하여 구입에 주력해야 하며, 교육·학술자료와 미소장 및 소급 장애인자료의 망라적 수집을 위한 전략 수립이 요구된다. 이에 본 연구는 국립장애인도서관의 현행 장서개발정책을 기반으로 장애인자료를 포괄적으로 수집하기 위한 기초연구를 수행하였다. 구체적으로 국가도서관 및 주요 대학도서관의 소장자료를 대상으로 장애인 및 장애 관련 자료의 발행 및 수집동향을 분석하고 국립장애인도서관이 앞으로 확보할 현행 및 소급자료의 규모, 실물자료 및 다운로드 혹은 아카이빙 대상 자료군을 설정하기 위한 기초목록을 구축하였다.
