The branded contents include various advertisements showing brand storytelling. A new mobile application service market for food delivery uses branded contents to become familiar with consumer in the beginning and built unique brand image in comparison with a rival company in the time of elaboration. This study analyzed the narrative type and structure of brand storytelling in branded contents of the three representative applications, 'Baedal Tong', 'The ethnic of Baedal', and 'Yogiyo'. Still a few study has researched the narrative type and structure of brand storytelling though different effects as narrative type. This paper divided four types of brand storytelling as the roll of brand through typology of Northrop Frye, romance, comedy, tragedy, and irony & satire. And it analyzed the narrative type and structure of branded contents of the three applications using these types and researched strategy in each time. The various narrative types beyond classical romance type are effective for brand positioning though market enter moment. This study will be helpful for the research about narrative strategy of branded contents.

There are many differences in narrative delivery between common movies and Virtual Reality(VR) films due to their differences in the appreciation structure. In VR films, scene changes by cuts have hindered the immersion of the audience instead of promoting narrative delivery. There are a range of experiments on narratives and immersion to solve this issue in VR films. Floating Tent applies hand gestures and immersive effects found in game elements and does not disturb narrative delivery by setting proper spaces and employing a direction technique to enable the melting of narratives into the characteristics of the spaces. There are time limits to offsound and mission performance, and devices fit for apocalyptic spatial expressions are made through a program. One of measures for the increasingly growing interactive storytelling in VR films is effective immersion. In narrative delivery, it is important to consider spatial setting and immersion to enable active intervention into events for immersion rather than passive audience only supposed to watch characters' acting.

Even if shots in frames may be variable in both movies and animations, close-up reveals the significance of the subject in the focus. Because directors and animators take the place the actor as character in animation while performance of actor plays an important role in the close-up in the movies, it is significant to understand the close-up in the animation. In the present study we investigate the dramatic effect of close-up in the animation narrative in animations for theaters. Among the various dramatic effects of the close-up, the natural flow of the narrative and the induction of immersing in emotion are focused. Descriptive close-up is analyzed as a dramatic effect of inducing the natural flow of the narrative. Psychological close-up is analyzed as the induction of immersing emotion by effective delivery of internal mental state of a character. By analyzing symbolic close-up as the induction of immersing in the play by producing a dramatic effect, we expect that the close-up contribute to the advance of animation narrative structure.

With the advent of new media era we are living in the world of motion picture image is not an exaggeration. With the development of the mass media with images and moments that passed the day feeling like part of it is communication. In this era a sensual and shapeable image more than the logical and realistic thinking may be passed. In the act of seeing a moving image, prior to linguistic and conceptual meaning, color and screen configuration delivery and formative element in the change they produce is first recognized. Particular kind of video animation having the narrative structure, this territory effect greatly. the film even more significant effect on the area and linking the image of the scene transitions in the scheme also features a simple means of natural communication functions are being expanded. These transitional effects provide visual pleasure from a simple transition traditional methods. And In terms of narrative functions performed to help a narrative flow of availability, visual representation should continue.

Reportage documentary by SBS did a great role to keep public sphere whether other programs shrinked during 2010's. I analysed with the assumption that there are some rhetorical characteristics in narrative structure of . Looking as 'Mysterious reportage documentary' I analysed the rhetorical characteristics of title, subtitle and script. Title has a perspective to suffice audience's desire and subtitles uses word 'mystery', names of place, interrogative sentences very often. This use helps to draw and keep audience's attention. I found reversal of fortune rhetoric, into depth rhetoric and admiration rhetoric salient. These results connect to the design thinking approach which shed light on importance of person, and we could get an implication of the successful development of television contents.

Appreciating gardens in garden show has its meaning in appreciating concepts and ideas of artists, hidden inside of garden, as formative arts, as well as the beauty of the nature. This study is aimed to understand the intension of artists in visual expression through formative media in the gardens by assessing structure of visual narrative in the space with 20 artworks among the ones presented in 2018 Taehwagang Garden Show. The formative structure is delivered as contents and forms through formative media and formative language. Thus, for analysis on the artworks, the researcher assessed expressive characteristics of the media, through visual and space language, that forms the formative structure in the contest of narrative structure expressed in the gardens and findings of the analysis are as follows. First, for intertextuality obtained through media image, most of the artworks delivered message through 'figure image.' This means, the concept is delivered as 'affinity of actual objects' through the media and associated 'meaning and meaning action' are expected. Second, the characteristics of signs to show symbolism in the gardens were categorized into 'icon'. 'index' and 'symbol'. The results showed that most of the artworks expressed common characteristics between image and meaning, using 'icon' and 'symbol'. Third, as space formation components, based on formative principles, the components of 'dominant' and 'subordinate' roles were defined as the key components for meaning delivery. Also, it was understood that 'space configuration with overlapped image' and 'space configuration with transparency' were adopted to strengthen conceptional layers. Forth, for space occupation types, there were mostly central hall type, corridor type and passage space type and for open space type, the entire space area was conceptualized, instead of certain object. The circulation line was defined in the frequency order of circular type, pass type and return type. The study on the expressive characteristics of visual narrative in garden design is meaningful as it could build base data for the method of spatial design for visual development of concepts in the future.

This study has to do with storytelling. In this study, analyzed the domestic and international academic literature and scientific papers. The purpose of this study is to provide the meaningful basic material on mathematics education for the development of storytelling lesson model and teaching material. First, we analyze the causes and background storytelling appeared. The psychologists found that the human cognition's structure consists of a narrative system. And, We realize that the problem 'How will attract the attention of the students in math class' will be solved by storytelling. Second, the means of storytelling about the educational value and benefits were discussed in Mathematics Education. The story has a powerful force in the delivery of mathematical content. And, the story has strong power, led to feelings of students receiving transfer mathematical content. Finally, examined the characteristics of the psychology of learning in mathematics education by storytelling. We were studied about internal and external story. And, we studies on storytelling as the mediator, story as the knowledge transfer, story as the problem-solving process, story as the script.

This study aims to study the relationship and narrative structure through types of conscious shown through characters of animation. Regardless of professional knowledge, animation viewers are able to decide sympathy cognitively during watching. There are previous studies examining elements regarding the sympathy felt by viewers, "how much sympathy one feels about the story" conveyed by character is one of the most significant element. "Sympathizing" is reacting to the emotion of character, which does not concentrate on visual phenomenon revealing from appearance and mise en scene, but from "conscious" establishing relationship from behavior and practice. In other words, it starts from in-depth insight regarding the types of conscious and relationship between characters. Therefore, this thesis aims to analyze the types of conscious of main character Simon of Japanese animation which was aired in Korea in 27 episodes, and analyze how it conducted meaning structuralization of relationship with surrounding characters in the growth process of every episode. When analyzing the animation, the study concentrated on analyzing the conscious formation process of character, completeness of relationship and structure rather than the plot or power of delivery of direction, to insist that animation should not only convey humor or fun but secure the in-dept self discernment.
