  • The extent and degree of contaminated sediments on lake Paldang were analyzed at 40 sites for organic matters, nutrients and heavy metals. COD, T-N and T-P were fairly correlated with the grain size of sediments, and the sites which were most distributed with sand were less contaminated with the sites covered with silt and clay. Phosphorus species were in the range of 7-58 for adsorbed-P, $13{\sim}411{\mu}g/g$ for NAI-P, $52{\sim}482{\mu}g/g$ for Apatite-P and $75{\sim}894{\mu}g/g$ for residual-P, respectively. Although heavy metals of sediments were detected at the range of $0.2-4.2{\mu}g/g$(Cr), $1.6{\sim}20.7{\mu}g/g$(Cu), 1.4~78.0ng/g(Hg), $2.1{\sim}18.9{\mu}g/g$(Pb), $1.8{\sim}99.5{\mu}g/g$(Zn), further survey over the long period were required for more monitoring data. The release rate of nutrients were found no relationship in this study.

  • The X-ray line broadening technique was used to calculate the grain size of MgO at 1023, 1123, 1223 K respectively either in $CO_2$ or during the thermal decomposition of magnesites in air as well as in vacuum. By referring to the conventional grain growth equation, $D^n=kt$, the activation energy and pre-exponential factor for the process in air are gained as 125.8 kJ/mol and $1.56{\times}10^8\;nm^4/s$, respectively. Ranman spectroscopy was employed to study the surface structure of MgO obtained during calcination of magnesite, by which the mechanism of grain growth was analyzed and discussed. It is suggested that a kind of highly reactive MgO is produced during the thermal decomposition of magnesites, which is exactly the reason why the activation energy of the grain growth during the thermal decomposition of magnesite is lower than that of bulk diffusion or surface diffusion.

  • This study was designed to evaluate the effects of an Schultz's autogens traning and herbal medicine with various scales on symptoms of UL-syndrom(鬱證). We treated UL-syndrom(鬱證) with Schultz's autogens traning, including herbal medicine and we evaluated the clinical progress of the patient using BDI. After treatment about 2-month, the chief complaint and most of symptoms were subsided and improved. BDI score were decreased 32 to 10. This study suggests that Schultz's auto gens traning and herbal medicine is significantly effective in the treatment of UL-syndrom(鬱證).

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the effect on a patient with bulimia nervosa-purging type and depression according to the oriental medical treatment and cognitive-behavioral therapy. In this case, a 28 year-old female patient had a binge eating and reward behaviors for 2 years. This patient was treated with acupunture therapy, Soyo-san for 5 months after cognitive-behavioral therapy for 12 sessions(2 times a week). The result of this research showed that bulimia nervosa with depression was improved by our treatment.

According to the literatural study of true heartache, some results can be acquired, such as follows. 1. The site of the true Heartache, can be divided into two categories, first, its superficial and conscious area is the chest as same as the other heartache. But its inner lesion is the Heart-Meridian as others occupied at the Pericardium-Meridian in stead of the Heart-Meridian. 2. The etiological classification of true heartache, are Cold-evil, Heat-evil, Wind-evil, Blood stasis etc. But its major factor is Cold-evil, more than anything else. 3. The symptomatic signs of true heartache, consist of cyanotic change from hands and feet to phalanges; severe heartache pale complexion with cold breathing and its extreme state can manifestate unceased sweating called as Yang exhaustion.

  • Parkinson's Disease is a well known degenerative disease which result's in the depletion of dopamin-producing neurons in the pars compacta of the substantia nigra. This is a chronic, progressive disorder characterized by progressive muscular rigidity, pill-rolling tremor, flexed posture, shuffling gate and akinesia. This study was designed to evaluate the effects of an oxygen therapy with various scales on symptoms of Parkinson's disease. We treated his disease with Oxygen treatment , including herbal medicine acupuncture, and trigger point therapy, and we evaluated the clinical progress of the patient using UPDRS and H- Y stage. After treatment for about 1-month, the chief complaints and tremor symptoms were improved. This study suggests that oxygen therapy is significantly effective in the treatment of Parkinson's disease.

  • The study aims to verify the relationship between leaders' personality traits in leader - member exchange (LMX), and job performance. Hierarchical Regression Analysis was used to examines (a) how leaders' personality traits and LMX affect the influence of social capital on job performance and organizational citizenship behavior; (b) how perceived organization support (POS) can moderate the influences of LMX on social capital, in turn impacting job performance and OCB. Responses are employees in the service industry in Thailand, which consisted of 236 independent samples in 77 groups. Each group included at least one leader and 1-5 followers. The results show that there is a significant relationship between leader's personality traits, LMX and social capital. Leader with the higher level of conscientious, and agreeableness can always create good relations with their followers. The level of LMX are also related to social capital and both of these influence OCB and job performance. The moderating effect of perceived organizational support is also significant that POS can amplify the influence of LMX on social capital. Finally, the research findings show that perceived organizational support is one of the moderating factors in LMX exchanges. Followers perceived organizational support can amplify the influence of LMX on social capital.
