기니픽 유두근에서 α1-adrenoceptor 자극에 의한 세포내 pH와 Na+ 증가는 Na+-H+ 교환기를 경유 (α1-adrenoceptor stimulation increases intracellular pH and Na+ via Na+-H+ exchange in guinea pig papillary muscle)

  • The effect of ${\alpha}_1$-adrenoceptor(${\alpha}_1$-AR) stimulation on intracellular pH($pH_i$), $Na^+$ activity($a_{Na}{^i}$) and contractility were investigated in isolated papillary muscles of euthyroid or hyperthyroid guinea pig with conventional microelectrode, $Na^+$ or $H^+$-selective microelectrodes, and tension transducer. Stimulation of the ${\alpha}_1$-AR by phenylephrine produced a decrease in $a_{Na}{^i}$ in euthyroid preparations. This decrease in $a_{Na}{^i}$ was abolished in presence of PKC activator, phorbol dibutyrate, and increased contrary to decrease. Phenylephrine also increased $a_{Na}{^i}$ in hyperthyroid ones. However, phenylrephtine produced an increase in $pH_i$ in both euthyroid and hyperthyroid ones. These changes were blocked by prazosin, an antagonist of ${\alpha}_1$-AR. These findings suggest that the changes in $a_{Na}{^i}$ and $pH_i$ are mediated by a stimulation of $Na^+-H^+$ exchange via ${\alpha}_1$-AR stimulation. This study focused on the increase in $a_{Na}{^i}$, $pH_i$ and contractility. The increase in $pH_i$ was blocked by amiloride or EIPA, $Na^+-H^+$ exchange inhibitors. Therefore, the increase in $a_{Na}{^i}$ and $pH_i$ mediated by ${\alpha}_1$-AR appeared to be due to an influx of $Na^+$ and a reduction of $H^+$ through $Na^+-H^+$ exchange. This study also revealed that the increase in $pH_i$ and $a_{Na}{^i}$ might be related to the sustained positive inotropic response. The $a_{Na}{^i}$ increase may contribute to the intracellular $Ca^{2+}$ through the $Na^+-Ca^{2+}$ exchange, and the $pH_i$ increase could cause an increase in the $Ca^{2+}$ sensitivity of myofilaments and may augment the ${\alpha}_1$-AR-mediated positive inotropic response.

비대칭 채널에서의 네트워크 코딩 기반 양방향 릴레이 전송 기법 (Network-Coded Bi-Directional Relaying Over an Asymmetric Channel)

  • 본 논문에서는 양방향 링크의 채널 상태와 트래픽 부하가 비대칭적인 채널에서 네트워크 코딩을 적용하는 기법과 그 방식에 따른 성능에 대해서 살펴본다. 이러한 양방향 링크의 비대칭성을 반영하기 위해 패딩후 네트워크 코딩(Network Coding after Padding: NaP) 방식과 분할 후 네트워크 코딩(Network Coding after Fragmentation: NaF) 방식을 고려한다. NaP 방식은 지금까지 트래픽 부하의 비대칭성만을 반영하기 위해 고려된 바 있으며, 본 논문에서는 실제로 채널의 상태를 동시에 고려할 경우에는 NaP 방식이 갖는 기존의 이득이 오히려 열화되는 것을 보인다. 또한, NaF 방식이 일반적인 양방향 링크 기법뿐만 아니라 NaP 방식보다 항상 성능이 좋다는 것을 보인다.

Response of broiler chickens to diets containing different levels of sodium with or without microbial phytase supplementation

  • Phytate induced excessive mineral excretion through poultry litter leads to poor performance and environmental pollution. Exogenous microbial phytase supplementation to poultry diets reduce the environmental excretion of nutrient and improve bird's performance. However, excessive dietary sodium (Na) level may hinder the phytase-mediated phytate hydrolysis and negate the beneficial effects of phytase. Therefore, this experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of different concentration dietary Na on phytase activity and subsequent impact on broiler performance, bone mineralisation and nutrient utilisation. In this study, six experimental diets, consisting of three different levels of Na (1.5, 2.5, or 3.5 g/kg) and two levels of microbial phytase (0 or 500 U/kg) were formulated by using $3{\times}2$ factorial design. The six experimental diets were offered to 360 day-old Ross 306 male chicks for 35 days, where, each experimental diet consisted of 6 replicates groups with 10 birds. Along with growth performance, nutrient utilization, intestinal enzyme activity, dry matter (DM) content of litter and mineral status in bone were analysed. Dietary Na and phytase had no effect on bode weight gain and feed intake. Birds on the low Na diet showed higher (p < 0.05) feed conversion ratio (FCR) than the mid-Na diets. High dietary Na adversely affected (p < 0.001) excreta DM content. Phytase supplementation to the high-Na diet increased (p < 0.01) the litter ammonia content. High dietary Na with phytase supplementation improved ($Na{\times}phytase$, p < 0.05) the AME value and ileal digestibility of Ca and Mg. The total tract retention of Ca, P, and Mg was reduced with high Na diet, which was counteracted by phytase supplementation ($Na{\times}phytase$, p < 0.001). The diets containing mid-level of Na improved (p < 0.001) the function of Na-K-ATPase and Mg-ATPase in the jejunum. The overall results indicate that high dietary Na did not affect phytase activity but influenced the nutrient utilization of birds, which was not reflected in bird overall performance.

닭다리살 유화물의 염화나트륨(NaCl) 첨가수준에 따른 이화학적 특성 (Physicochemical Properties of Chicken Thigh Meat Batter Containing Various Concentrations of NaCl)

  • 본 연구는 NaCl 첨가량에 따른 닭다리살 유화형 소시지의 이화학적 특성에 대하여 조사하였다. 수분과 회분은 NaCl 1.2%와 1.5% 처리구가 유의적으로 높은 값을 나타내었으며(p<0.05), 단백질은 NaCl 첨가량이 증가할수록 낮아지는 경향을 보였다. pH는 가열 전 유화물에서 NaCl 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 유의적으로 감소하였으며(p<0.05), 가열 후 닭다리살 소시지 또한 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 색도 측정 결과 가열 전 후 명도(lightness)는 NaCl 첨가수준이 높아짐에 따라 상승하는 경향을 보였다. 황색도(yellowness)는 가열 전 유화물은 NaCl 1.2%와 1.5% 처리구는 대조구와 다른 처리구들에 비해 유의적으로 낮은 값을 나타내었으며(p<0.05), 가열 후에는 NaCl 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 적색도(redness)는 가열 전 유화물에서 NaCl 첨가수준이 1.2%까지 상승할수록 유의적으로 감소하였으며(p<0.05), 가열 후 적색도는 NaCl 첨가량이 증가할수록 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 가열수율과 유화안정성 측정결과, 가열수율은 NaCl 0.6% 처리구부터 NaCl 첨가수준이 높아질수록 유의적으로 상승하였다(p<0.05). 유화안정성 중 수분 분리율은 NaCl 0.9-1.5% 처리구가 대조구와 다른 처리구들에 비해 유의적으로 낮은 수분 분리율을 보였으며(p<0.05), 지방 분리율은 NaCl 첨가량이 증가함에 따라 낮아지는 추세를 보였다. 점도(viscosity) 측정결과 NaCl 첨가량이 높은 처리구가 대조구와 다른 처리구에 비해 높은 점도를 나타내어, NaCl 첨가량이 높아질수록 점도 또한 상승하는 경향을 보였다. 경도(hardness)는 NaCl 1.2%와 1.5% 처리구가 $0.28-0.30kg_f$으로 유의적으로 높았으며(p<0.05), 검성(gumminess)과 씹힘성(chewiness)은 경도와 동일하게 NaCl 1.2%, 1.5% 처리구가 유의적으로 높은 수치를 나타내었다(p<0.05). 이러한 결과를 미루어 볼 때, 닭다리살 유화형 소시지에 NaCl을 1.2% 첨가하였을 때 NaCl 1.5% 처리구와 이화학적으로 유사한 특성을 가지고 있는 것으로 생각된다. 따라서 닭다리살을 이용한 저염 육제품 제조 시 NaCl을 1.2% 첨가하는 것이 이화학적인 특성 저하를 일으키지 않는 적정 수준일 것으로 판단된다.

분리 메밀 단백질의 유화 및 기포특성에 관한 연구 (The Study on Emulsifying and Foaming Properties of Buckwheat Protein Isolate)

  • Buckwheat protein isolate was tested for the effects of pH, addition of sodium chloride and heat treatment on solubility, emulsion capacities, emulsion stability, surface hydrophobicity, foam capacities and foam stability. The solubility of buckwheat protein isolate was affected by pH and showed the lowest value at pH 4.5, the isoelectric point of buckwheat protein isolate. The solubility significantly as the pH value reached closer to either ends of the pH, i.e., pH 1.0 and 11.0. The effects of NaCl concentration on solubility were as follows; at pH 2.0, the solubility significantly decreased when NaCl was added; at pH 4.5, it increased above 0.6 M; at pH 7.0 it increased; and at pH 9.0 it decreased. The solubility increased above $80^{\circ}C$, at all pH ranges. The emulsion capacity was the lowest at pH 4.5. It significantly increased as the pH approached higher acidic or alkalic regions. At pH 2.0, when NaCl was added, the emulsion capacity decreased, but it increased at pH 4.5 and showed the maximum value at pH 7.0 and 9.0 with 0.6 M and 0.8 M NaCl concentrations. Upon heating, the emulsion capacity decreased at acidic pH's but was maximised at pH 7.0 and 9.0 on $60^{\circ}C$ heat treatment. The emulsion stability was the lowest at pH 4.5 but increased with heat treatment. At acidic pH, the emulsion stability increased with the increase in NaCl concentration but decreased at pH 7.0 and 9.0. Generally, at other pH ranges, the emulsion stability was decreased with increased heating temperature. The surface hydrophobicity showed the highest value at pH 2.0 and the lowest value at pH 11.0. As NaCl concentrationed, the surface hydrophobicity decreased at acidic pH. The NaCl concentration had no significant effects on surface hydrophobicity at pH 7.0, 9.0 except for the highest value observed at 0.8 M and 0.4 M. At all pH ranges, the surface hydrophobicity was increased, when the temperature increased. The foam capacity decreased, with increased in pH value. At acidic pH, the foam capacity was decreased with the increased in NaCl concentration. The highest value was observed upon adding 0.2 M or 0.4 M NaCl at pH 7.0 and 9.0. Heat treatments of $60^{\circ}C$ and $40^{\circ}C$ showed the highest foam capacity values at pH 2.0 and 4.5, respectively. At pH 7.0 and 9.0, the foam capacity decreased with the increased in temperature. The foam stability was not significantly related to different pH values. The addition of 0.4 M NaCl at pH 2.0, 7.0 and 9.0 showed the highest stability and the addition of 1.0 M at pH 4.5 showed the lowest. The higher the heating temperature, the lower the foam stability at pH 2.0 and 9.0. However, the foam stability increased at pH 4.5 and 7.0 before reaching $80^{\circ}C$.

가토 신장 Na-K-ATPase 및 $K^+-pNPPase$의 최적 PH에 미치는 Vanadate의 영향 (The Effect of Vanadate on the Optimum pH of Na-K-ATPase and $K^+-pNPPase$ in Rabbit Kidney Cortex)

  • Vanadate가 Na-K-ATPase의 최적 PH에 영향을 미치는 기전에 효소의 $Na^+$$K^+$의 결합부위가 관여하는지를 밝히기 위하여 가토 신피질 microsome을 이용하여 실험해서 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1) $5{\times}10^{-6}M$ vanadate 존재시 Na-K-ATPase의 추적 PH가 6.8로 이동하였다. 2) PH 6.8과 7.4에서 Na-K-ATPase활성의 비는 vanadate농도가 증가함에 따라 증가하였다. 3) Vanadate 존재시에도 용액의 $Na^+$농도가 50mM 이하일 때는 pH 7.4에서의 효소활성이 6.8보다 높았고 오히려 그 비는 대조군보다 증가하였다. 4) $K^+$농도가 7mM 이하일 때는 vanadate 존재시도 Na-K-ATPase의 활성이 PH 7.4에서 더 높았다. 5) 5mM $K^+$존재하에서도 vanadate농도를 $10^{-5}M$로 증가시키면 최적 pH는 6.8로 이동하였다. 6) $K^+-pNPPase$활성은 PH가 낮을수록 증가하였고 $10^{-7}M$ vanadate에 의한 억제 정도는 PH가 낮을수록 감소하였다. 이상의 결과로 볼때 vanadate 존재시 Na-K-ATPase의 최적 PH는 6.8로 이동하였으며 이것은 PH가 낮아 펄 때 나타나는 vanadate자체의 성질 변화 때문은 아니며 vanadate 존재시 pH가 효소의 $Na^+$$K^+$결합부위에 영향을 주어 나타나는 것으로 생각된다.

홍게 가공회수 단백질의 거품 형성력 및 안정성 (Foaming Capacity and Foaming Stability of Protein Recovered from Red Crab Processing Water)

  • Foaming capacity (FC) and stability (FS) of protein recovered from red crab (Chitinonecetes opilio) processing in water and soybean protein isolate were determined at pH 2.0~10.0 in water and NaCl solution. The FC values for both proteins showed the lowest values at the isoelectric point (pH 4.0) and increased nth an increase in pH above the isoelectric point. FC of RCP was higher than that of SPI at pH 10.0 in water and both NaCl solutions. FC of SPI increased with an increase in NaCl concentration at pH 4.0 and 6.0, but FC of RCP was not affected. The highest FS values for both proteins were obtained at pH 4.0 in water. At pH 2.0, FC of RCP decreased with NaCl concentration increase, but FS increased. NaCl concentration had little effect on FS of RCP at pH 4.0 and 6.0, but the FS decreased at pH 10.0. FS of SPI was similar to that of RCP at pH 2.0 and increased with NaCl concentration Increase from 0.1 to 0.5M NaCl at pH 10.0.

  • 춘천의 잣나무림과 관악산의 소나무림에 있어서 낙엽의 무기화를 연구하였다. N, P, K, Ca 및 Na의 무기화 상수를 보면 잣나무림에서는 각각 0.064, 0.068, 0.040, 0.047, 0.417, 0.058이었으며, 소나무림에서는 0.049, 0.049, 0.346, 0.058이었다. 무기물이 무기화되는 순서는 잣나무림에서는 Ca>P>N>Na>K였으며 소나무림에서는 Ca>Na>N=P>K로 나타났다. 일반적으로 양이온의 무기화는 음이온의 무기화보다 빨랐다.

Effect of Naked Neck Gene on Immune Competence, Serum Biochemical and Carcass Traits in Chickens under a Tropical Climate

  • A comprehensive study was undertaken to evaluate the effect of naked neck (Na) gene on immune competence, serum biochemical parameters and carcass quality traits in three genotypes (NaNa, Nana and nana) of the naked neck chicken under a tropical climate (Southern India). Sixty day-old chicks (20 from each genotype) were selected randomly and reared under similar environmental conditions up to eight weeks of age. The cell mediated immune (CMI) response to phytohaemoagglutinin-P (PHA-P) was significantly higher ($p{\lgq}0.01$) in NaNa and Nana genotypes compared to nana birds. The humoral response as measured by antibody titre to sheep red blood cells (SRBC) was also significantly higher in NaNa. The total cholesterol, LDL and VLDL cholesterol levels were significantly ($p{\leq}0.01$) lower whereas HDL cholesterol level was significantly higher in NaNa and Nana compared to nana genotype. The presence of Na allele significantly increased the live weight and dressing yield, and decreased the feather cover and abdominal fat. The naked neck genotypes (NaNa/Nana) performed better than the normal (nana) siblings for almost all the traits studied.

치매간호중재 프로그램이 경중 치매노인의 Na, K, Ca, Cl, P, Cholesterol의 혈중 농도 및 17-KS, 17-OHCS의 뇨배설량에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Denentia prevention nursing program on Urinary 17-KS, 17-OHCS, and Blood Na, Cl, K, Ca, P, cholesterol of the Demented elderly women)

  • This study was conducted for the evaluation of the effect of Dementia prevention nursing program on Urinary 17-KS, 17-OHCS, and Blood Na, Cl, K, Ca, P, cholesterol. The sample for the present study was composed of 16 demented elderly in D care center for the elderly in K city. The Dementia prevention nursing program consisted of concept memory training, music therapy, and art therapy. The program was performed twice a week and about ninety minutes was consumed for one session. The program had been administered for 8 weeks. We checked Urinary 17-KS, 17-OHCS, and Blood Na, Cl, K, Ca, P, cholesterol before and after the program. Statistical analysis was performed by using descriptive statistics and Wlicoxon signed rank test of SAS system for window 6.12. The result were follows : 1. Urinary 17-KS 17-KS score increased significantly after intervention(p=0.005). 2. Urinary 17-OHCS 17-OHCS score increased significantly after intervention(p=0.001). 3. Blood Na, Cl, K, Ca, P, cholesterol Na(p=0.0002), Cl(p=0.0001), K(p=0.0001), Ca(p=0.0028), decreased significantly after intervention. The results show that Dementia prevention nursing program increases Urinary 17-KS, 17-OHCS, and decreases Blood Na, Cl, K, Ca, P, cholesterol. In conclusion, the Dementia prevention nursing program can be used for the effective measure to decrease stress of the Demented elderly.
