이 연구의 목적은 비영리조직 구성원의 일가족양립 경험을 이해하고자 하는 것이다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위해, 연구자들은 일가족양립 경험이 있는 비영리조직 구성원들과 심층면접을 실시하여 자료를 수집하고, 질적 사례연구 접근을 통해 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 일가족양립과 관련된 여러 가지 영역과 각 영역의 경험들을 파악할 수 있었다. 구체적으로 제시하면, 제도 영역에서는 '빈익빈부익부', 일 영역에서는 '조직문화가 중요해', '쓸 수 있지만 또한 쓸 수 없는', '일 자체의 가치', 가족 영역에서는 '고군분투: 끌어안기와 내려놓기', 일과 가족 사이 영역에서는 '저울질과 줄타기' 등이었다. 또한 이러한 영역들과 경험들을 관통하는 본질 주제를 분석한 결과 '궁극적 선택, 비영리', '최적보다는 적정: 기울어진 채로 돌아가는 것도 양립', '제도는 생물이다: 변화무쌍'이라는 세 가지 주제가 확인되었다. 이러한 연구결과들에 근거하여 비영리조직과 그 구성원들의 일가족양립을 지원하기 위한 정책과 실천 지침들을 제언하였다.

This study was to investigate the perception and the usability of gardening program in a community for protection of school bullying at a middle school. The data collected from 640persons of middle school students, their parents, teachers, residents, NPO staffs for youth, active persons in urban agriculture and farming at 3communities during 2014.10.21.~2014.11.5. The degree on necessity of gardening program to protect school bullying were statistical significant different by age, garden experience, understanding and exchanging with youth and neighbors, keeping relationship or communication between school and family or residents. Most of parents, teachers prefer to increase the family counseling program by NPOs for protection of school bullying. On the contrary, concerns in urban agriculture and farming strengthened to cheer up gardening program for youth. In this study also, it was agreed that gardening program is useful for protection of school bullying and for stability of emotional safety for youth involving in middle school students. From these results, gardening program will be more contribution to communications and exchanges between school, student's family and their community persons as like neighbors, NPO staffs, concerns in urban agriculture and farming.

전세계 산업구조가 재편되고 장소간 경쟁이 심해지면서 우리나라를 포함한 세계의 많은 지역이 지역개발을 위해 장소마케팅에 의존하게 되었다. 기존의 논의들은 대개 지역의 고유한 장소성을 기반으로 장소마케팅을 수행하여야 한다고 주장한다. 그러나 모든 지역이 장소마케팅에 활용될 수 있는 장소성을 가지고 있는 것은 아니며, 현실적으로 장소성과 상관없는 요소를 도입하여 장소마케팅에 성공한 사례들이 나타나고 있다. 이러한 맥락에서 이 연구는 기존의 장소와 장소마케팅 관련 논의들을 검토하고, 장소성의 인위적 형성 가능성에 대해 타진하였다. 그리고 미국 오레곤주 애쉴랜드시와 잭슨빌시, 그리고 한국 경상남도 통영시를 사례지역으로 선정하여. 장소성의 인위적 형성과정을 검증하였다.

A heterologous gene expression and secretion system using a methylotrophic yeast, Hansenula polymorpha was developed for the production of anticoagulant hirudin. Hirudin gene was expressed under the control of a strong and inducible methanol oxidase (MOX or AOX) promoter. The mating factor a pre-pro leader sequence of Saccharomyces cerevisiae was employed for hirudin to be secreted into the extracellular medium. Hirudin expression cassette was introduced into three strains of H. polymorpha, A16, HPBl and DLl which have different genetic backgrounds. This expression cassette was stably integrated into the host chromosomal DNA. Biologically active and mature hirudin was efficiently expressed and secreted into the extracellular medium. About 19 mg/L of hirudin was found in the culture supernatant in the case of a two-copy integrant of the strain HPBl under suboptimal culture conditions.

In April 2010, Japan Cabinet Office has published the first countermeasure report for severe flood disasters. This report showed various flood-disaster scenarios and factors that widened damages. One of important suggestions was to transmit precious information for long-distance evacuation. So far, local municipalities have made Flood Hazard Map to inform resident risk and evacuation. In this paper, cognition and effectiveness of a flood hazard map in the down ARAKAWA river Tokyo were measured by social questionnaire survey. In conclusion, there were 3 factors to effect validity of a flood hazard map. There were (1) commitment to their neighborhood organization, (2) experience of Kathleen typhoon in 1947 and (3) level of using targeted river. As results, a logical diagram about a flood hazard map perception was drawn and discussed from a view of community-based approach.

뉴욕공공도서관(The New York Public Library)은 전문분야로 특화된 대학원 수준의 4개의 연구도서관과 85개의 지역분관을 가리키는 복합관의 총칭이다. 뉴욕시는 인구 800만의 5개의 행정구역으로 이루어지는데, 뉴욕공공도서관은 맨해튼, 브롱크스, 스태튼섬의 3개지구 330만명을 서비스 대상으로 하고, 나머지 2개 지구를 브루클린공공도서관, 퀸즈공공도서관이 관할한다. 연간 예산은 2억8천만달러에 달하며, 2003년의 통계에 따르면 방문이용자가 150만명, 홈페이지 이용자도 1,000만명에 이른다고 한다. 놀라운 것은 운영이나 규모면에서 세계 제일로 손꼽히면서도 공립(公立)이 아니라 비영리민간단체(NPO)가 운영하는 공공(公共) 도서관이라는 것이다. 뉴욕공공도서관은 설립부터 독지가들이 기부 등을 통해 도서관 활동에 깊이 관여하면서 행정과의 독특한 협력관계를 발전시켜왔다. 이러한 전통에 의거한 퍼블릭 프라이빗 파트너십(Public Private Partnership)은 뉴욕공공도서관의 핵심으로 보다 풍부한 서비스의 제공을 가능하게 하였다. 이에 본 연구는 우리나라와 달리 예산확보를 위한 경비가 일정부분 상정되고 있는 뉴욕공공도서관의 자금조달 비즈니스 모델에 대한분석에 중점을 두었다.

최근 지속가능한 사회를 실현하기 위해 용기포장의 3R이 적극 추진되고 있다. 일본 제성은 설계 및 제조 단계에서부터 환경에 배려한 용기포장을 만들기 위해 '용기포장의 환경배려설계에 관한 사례집-포장의 환경배려에 있어서 JIS를 활용한 용기포장 리듀스 대응 사례'를 발간했다. 일본 경제성의 관계자는 "이 사례집은 보다 많은 사람들이 용기포장의 환경배려형 설계에 관련한 대응과 실태를 이해하는 것을 목표로 발간됐다"며 "소비자단체, NPO단체, NGO단체 등이 사례집을 적극 활용해 용기포장의 환경배려형 설계가 더욱 보급되길 바란다"고 말했다. 앞으로 3회에 걸쳐 보고서 내용을 기본으로 용기포장의 환경배려형 설계 단계, 용기포장의 환경배려형 설계와 JIS의 관계, 각사의 우수 사례 등에 대해 살펴보도록 한다.

The results of stand and field testing of a combustion chamber for a heavy-duty 150 MW gas turbine are discussed. The model represented one of 14 identical segments of a tubular multican combustor constructed 1:1 scale. The model experiments were executed at a lower pressure than that in a real gas turbine. Combustion efficiency, pressure loss factor, pattern factor, liner wall temperature, flame radiation, fluctuating pressure and NOx emission were measured at partial and full loads for both model and on-site testing. The comparison of these items in the stand and field test results led to has the development of a method of calculation and the improvement of gas turbine combustors.
