Evidence of the need for Security National Competency Standards Training (경호 NCS 교육의 필요성에 대한 실증분석)

  • This study was set up hypothesis "NCS recognition ➩ NCS training needs ➩ Performance of the NCS training". The survey was conducted to explore the need for Security-related NCS education at university and awareness of the NCS for Security Studies students. Results of analyzing the internal consistency, this study showed that ensure internal consistency is calculated Chronbach's Alpha coefficient of more than 0.8. Validation of the survey was investigated by secured Convergent validity and discriminant validity among the variables calculated all over the reference value. This study showed that the model is appropriate with results using the structural equation modeling to validate the research model The correlation analysis of this hypothesis was very high as calculated the standardization factor 0.726 and 0.870 for each relationship by hypothesis testing results.

Evaluation of Ventilation Systems in an Enclosed Nursery Pig House (무창자돈사의 환기시스템 정립 및 환기효율 평가)

  • An experiment was conducted to establish the most suitable ventilation system for the enclosed nursery pig house in Korea, comparing four different ventilation systems ; i) air enters through perforated ceiling and exhausts through chimney (NA), ii) air enters through perforated ceiling and exhausts through side walls (NB), iii) air enters through perforated ducts and exhausts through side walls (NC) and iv) air enters through perforated ducts and exhausts through chimney(ND). The experiment was carried out during winter and summer separately. The experimental pigs were weaned at fourteen days old in winter (December-February) and at twenty one days old in summer (June-August). The main results of the experiment are as follows : A preliminary experiment showed that in the NC system during summer, air can reach all the pig rooms in the house and the air flow rates of the upper, middle (1.2 m height of the room) and low (at the height of pig stature) parts of the room were measured at 7.0-8.08, over 0.5 and over 0.2 m/s, respectively, which flow rates were much higher(p$<$0.05) than those in other system. At the minimum ventilation efficiency during winter, air flow rates of upper, middle and low parts of the room equipped with the NC system were detected at over 1, less than 0.5 and around 0.07 m/s, respectively. It is concluded that the separated ventilation system air-entering through ducts is the most suitable for the ventilation system of the enclosed nursery pig house and the exhausting system through side walls is more efficient for ventilation than the system through roof. Furthermore, to sustain proper temperature and reduce energy waste as well as heat consumption, a future research should be carried out to develop the environmental control system in relation to developing a heat regulator.

A Vibration Rejection of Linear Feeder System with PMSM using Adaptive Notch Filter (적응형 노치 필터에 의한 PMSM을 이용한 선형 피드 시스템의 진동 억제)

  • The Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(PMSM) drive systems with ball-screw, gear and timing-belt are widely used in industrial applications such as NC machine, machine tools, robots and factory automation. These systems have torsional vibration in torque transmission from servo motor to mechanical load due to the mechanical couplings. This vibration makes it difficult to achieve quick responses of speed and may result in damage to the mechanical plant. This paper presents adaptive notch filter with auto searching function of vibration frequency to reject the mechanical vibration of linear feeder system with PMSM. The proposed adaptive notch filter can suppress the torque command signal of PMSM in the resonant bandwidth for reject the mechanical torsional vibration. However, the resonant frequency can vary with conditions of mechanical load system and coupling devices, adaptive notch filter can auto search the vibration frequency and suppress the vibration signal bandwidth. Computer simulation and experimental results shows the verification of the proposed adaptive notch filter in linear feeder system with PMSM.

A Nonlinear Friction Torque Compensation of Servo System with Double Speed Controller (이중 속도 제어 구조에 의한 서보 제어기의 비선형 마찰 토크 보상)

  • Servo motor systems with ball-screw and timing-belt are widely used in NC, robot, FA and industrial applications. However, the nonlinear friction torque and damping effect in machine elements reduce the control performance. Especially tracking errors in trajectory control and very low velocity control range are serious due to the break-away friction and Stribeck effects. In this paper, a new double speed controller is proposed for compensation of the nonlinear friction torque. The proposed double speed controller has outer speed controller and inner friction torque compensator. The proposed friction torque compensator compensates the nonlinear friction torque with actual speed and speed error information. Due to the actual information for friction torque compensator without parameters and mathematical model of motor, proposed compensator is very simple structure and the stability is very high. The proposed compensator is verified by simulation and experimental results.

Design of Intra Prediction Circuit for HEVC and H.264 Multi-decoder Supporting UHD Images (UHD 영상을 지원하는 HEVC 및 H.264 멀티 디코더 용 인트라 예측 회로 설계)

  • This paper proposes the architecture and design of intra prediction circuit for a multi-decoder supporting UHD images. The proposed circuit supports not only the latest video compression standard HEVC but also H.264. In addition to the basic function of performing intra prediction, this circuit has the capability of performing the reference sample filter operation defined in the H.264 standard, and the smoothing and strong sample filter operations defined in the HEVC standard. We reduced the circuit size by sharing the circuit blocks for common operations and internal storage, and improved the circuit performance by parallel processing. The proposed circuit was described at RTL using Verilog HDL and its functionality was verified by using NC-Verilog of Cadence. The RTL circuit was synthesized by using Design Compiler of Synopsys and 130nm standard cell library. The synthesized gate-level circuit consists of 69,694 gates and processes 100 ~ 280 frames per second for 4K-UHD HEVC images at the maximum operation frequency of 157MHz.

  • 본 연구에서는 볼 엔드밀을 사용한 5축 가공에서 공구 간섭회피를 위한 효율적인 알고리즘과 가공 가능한 많은 자세들 중에서 공구 절삭부위와 이전자세를 고려한 공구 자세설정 알고리즘을 개발 하였다. 공구 간섭검사는 공구 밑면 간섭과 몸체 간섭으로 나누어 순차적으로 수행하고, 공구 몸채 간섭이 없는 공구 자세를 설정한다. 공구 몸체 간섭검사는 곡면의 다각형 모델과 공구 축과의 관계를 사용하여 행한다. 간섭이 발생하였을 경우 간섭회피 및 자세조정 영역으로 설정하고 유효한 공구자세의 범위를 정한 후, 이 범위 내에서 공구 절삭 부위 및 이전 자세를 고려한 효율적 공구자세를 사용하여 공구경로를 산출하였으며, 시뮬레이터를 통해 그 유효성을 검증하였다.

Double Clustering of Gene Expression Data Based on the Information Bottleneck Method (정보병목기법에 기반한 유전자 발현 데이터의 이중 클러스터링)

  • 기능 유전체학에서 클러스터링 기법은 고차원의 마이크로 어레이 데이터 분석을 위한 주된 도구 중의 하나이다. 본 논문에서는 정보병목(information bottleneck)기법 기반의 이중 클러스터링에 의한, 유전자 발현 데이터의 계층적 병합방식 클러스터링 기법을 제안한다. 정보병목기법은, 두 랜덤변수의 결합확률분포가 주어진 경우 두 변수의 상호 정보량을 최대한 보존하면서 한 변수를 압축하는 기법이며, 두 변수를 차례로 압축하는 것이 이중 클러스터링이다. 실제 마이크로 어레이 데이터인 NC160 데이터(암세포 내 유전자 발현 데이터)에 대한 실험에서, 먼저 유전자를 그 발현패턴에 따라 클러스터링 한 후 이를 이용하여 표본들을 클러스터링하고 그 성능을 다각도로 분석하였다. 상호 정보량과 유전자 및 표본 클러스터 수와 엔트로피 척도에 의한 성능을 검토해 본 결과, 표본이 추출 조직에 따라 구분 가능할 것이라는 가정을 검증할 수 있었으며, 적절한 클러스터의 수를 결정할 수 있는 임계점의 기준을 설정할 수 있었다.

Machined Surface Prediction and Experimental Verification for Virtual Machining CAM System (실가공형 CAM 시스템의 구현을 위한 가공면 예측 및 실험검증)

  • With the contemporary CAD/CAM system, where the tool path is generated and verified purely based on the geometric operation, geometric accuracy of the machined surface cannot be guaranteed dut to the cutting mechanics, meaning that the cutting mechanics should be incorporated in some fashion. In this paper, we incorporate the instantaneous cutting force and the tool deflection phenomena in predicting the machined surface for the finish-cut and milling operation. For the given NC dat including cutting conditions, the developed algorithm computes cutting force and deflection amount along the tool trajectory, and outputs the 3D graphic model of the machined surface together with error analysis. The validity and accuracy of the presented method has been tested by the actual cutting experiments. Experimental results and accuracy enhancement method together with implementing architecture of the VMCS (Virtual Machining CAM System) are discussed in the paper.

  • 4축 자유곡면가공에 있어서 공구간섭 문제는 가공형상의 취득성 뿐만 아니라 가공의 정밀도를 위하여 매우 중요한 고려사항이다. 공구의 접근자세가 고정된 3축 밀링가공의 공구 간섭에 관한 기존의 많은 연구가 있지만 이러한 연구는 공구의 접근자세가 변하는 4축 밀링가공에의 적용이 곤란하다. 왜냐하면 곡면의 형상에 따라 공구몸체의 곡면사이의 간섭문제가 부각되며, 이에 따른 공구자세의 창출문제가 해결되어야 하기 때문이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 4축가공에서 발생할 수 있는 공구 간섭을 유형별로 분류, 각 간섭들을 발견하고 해결할 수 있는 방법의 전개와 이 방법을 이용하여 공구경로를 산출하고 그래픽 시뮬레이션과 실제의 시험절삭을 통하여 제시된 방법의 유효성을 검증한다.

  • Octree-based algorithm is developed for machining simulation. Most of commercial machining simulators are based on Z map model, which have several limitations to get a high precision in 5 axis machining simulation. Octree representation is three dimensional decomposition method. So it is expected that these limitations be overcome by using octree based algorithm. By using the octree model, storage requirement is reduced. And also recursive subdivision was processed in the boundaries, which reduces useless computation. The supersampling method is the most common form of the anti-aliasing and usually used with polygon mesh rendering in computer graphics. Supersampling technique is applied for advancing its efficiency of the octree algorithm.
