Analysis on forest through satellite image data can be obtained from normalized burn ration (NBR) and normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) from descriptive information of reflection on the earth's surface recorded each waveband. This study focuses on the efficiency of NBR through comparative analysis after obtaining NBR and NDVI of images form 1 you, 2 years and just after the forest fire and the time of forest-preserved of the area before the forest fire in Sacheon myeon, Cangneung City where the forest fro broke out. As a result, it shows dynamic changes with greater range that differences between NBR images rather than differences between NDVI images, which means it would be better to use NBR image for the analysis of the degrees of damages from forest fire or the status of vegetation restoration and also NBR image more distinctly shows both than NDVI image in forest fro damage area.

Burn severity analysis using satellite imagery has high capabilities for research and management in inaccessible areas. We extracted the forest fire area of the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) in the western Imjin Estuary which is restricted to access due to the confrontation between South and North Korea. Then we analyzed the forest fire severity and recoverability using atmospheric corrected Surface Reflectance Level-2 data collected from Landsat-8 OLI (Operational Land Imagery) / TIRS (Thermal Infrared Sensor). Normalized Burn Ratio (NBR), differenced NBR (dNBR), and Relative dNBR (RdNBR) were analyzed based on changes in the spectral pattern of satellite images to estimate burn severity area and intensity. Also, we evaluated the recoverability after a forest fire using a land cover map which is constructed from the NBR, dNBR, and RdNBR analyzed results. The results of dNBR and RdNBR analysis for the six years (during May 30, 2014 - May 30, 2020) showed that the intensity of monthly burn severity was affected by seasonal changes after the outbreak and the intensity of annual burn severity gradually decreased after the fire events. The regrowth of vegetation was detected in most of the affected areas for three years (until May 2020) after the forest fire reoccurred in May 2017. The monthly recoverability (from April 2014 to December 2015) of forests and grass fields was increased and decreased per month depending on the vegetation growth rate of each season. In the case of annual recoverability, the growth of forest and grass field was reset caused by the recurrence of a forest fire in 2017, then gradually recovered with grass fields from 2017 to 2020. We confirmed that remote sensing was effectively applied to research of the burn severity and recoverability in the DMZ. This study would also provide implications for the management and construction statistics database of the forest fire in the DMZ.
Satellite data play a major role in supporting knowledge about forest fire by delivering rapid information to map areas damaged. This study, we used 7 Sentinel-2A images to detect change area in forests of Sokcho on April 4, 2019. The process of classify forest fire severity used 7 levels from Sentinel-2A dNBR(differenced Normalized Burn Ratio). In the process of classifying forest fire damage areas, the study selected three areas with high regrowth of vegetation level and conducted a detailed spatial analysis of the areas concerned. The results of dNBR analysis, regrowth of coniferous forest was greater than broad-leaf forest, but NDVI showed the lowest level of vegetation. This is the error of dNBR classification of dNBR. The results of dNBR time series, an area of forest fire damage decreased to a large extent between April 20th and May 3rd. This is an example of the regrowth by developing rare-plants and recovering broad-leaf plants vegetation. The results showed that change area was detected through the change detection of danage area by forest category and the classification errors of the coniferous forest were reached through the comparison of NDVI and dNBR. Therefore, the need to improve the precision Korean forest fire damage rating table accompanied by field investigations was suggested during the image classification process through dNBR.

The sealing performance of an elastomeric O-ring seal using NBR and FFKM has been analyzed for the contact stress behaviors that develop between the O-ring seal and the surfaces with which it comes into contact. The leakage of an O-ring seal will occur when the pressure differential across the seal just exceeds the initial (or static) peak contact stress. The contact stress behaviors that develop in compressed O-rings, in common case of restrained geometry(grooved), are investigated using the finite element method. The analysis includes material hyperelasticity and axisymmetry. The computed FEM results show that the contact stress behaviors are related to materials of NBR and FFKM and temperature of vaccum chamber.
In the present study, the effect of milled glass powder and liquid-type nitrile rubber (NBR) on the thermal stability of phenolic resin and the dynamic mechanical properties of glass braid/phenolic composites has been investigated by means of thermogravimetric analysis and dynamical mechanical analysis. It was found that both milled glass power and NBR filled in the waterborne phenolic resin significantly influenced the thermal stability of phenolic resins and the storage modulus and tan delta of the composites. The presence of glass powder increased the thermal stability of the phenolic resin, whereas the presence of NBR resulted in the weight loss in the specific temperature range. The thermal stability of the phenolic resins without and with the fillers was dependent not only on the cure temperature but also on the cure time. The variation of the storage modulus and tan ${\delta}$ of strip-type glass braid/phenolic composites was also influenced with the introduction of glass powder and NBR to the phenolic matrix as well as by the cure conditions given.
The aminoglycoside multiple-resistance determinant from Streptoalloteichus hindustanus was cloned into Streptomyces lividans and named nbrB. The 1.2-kb ApaI- BclI fragment encompassing nbrB was located within a 2.6-kb ApaI fragment by successive subcloning experiments. The complete DNA nucleotide sequence of 1.2-kb containing nbrB was determined. The sequence contains an open reading frame that putatively encodes a polypeptide of 281 amino acids with a predicted molecular weight of 30,992. The deduced amino acid sequence of nbrB shows identities of 85.1% to kgmB of S. tenebrarius, 59.6% to sgm of Micromonospora zionensis, and 57.7% to grm of M. rosea. The similarity of nbrB to kgmB suggests that nbrB encodes a 16S rRNA methylase similar to that encoded by kgmB and that both genes might be derived from a common ancestral gene.
This study are conducted for the purpose of developing rubber material with noise and crack resistance. Cure characteristics, physical properties, thermal resistance, fuel resistance, abrasion resistance, crack resistance and noise resistance of NBR compounds with the various amounts of oleamide and aramid chip were investigated. From the measurements of cure characteristics and Mooney viscosities, cure characteristics of uncured rubber showed that a torque was decreased as the amount of oleamide increased. Hardness, modulus and elongation of rubber specimens tended to be reduced gradually, however, tensile strength remained unchanged as the amount of the oleamide increased. As a testing results of heat resistance for 70 hours at $120^{\circ}C$ and oil resistance far 70 hours at $40^{\circ}C$, tensile strength and elongation were all reduced. From the TGA/DSC analysis, there was no such a change observed in thermal characteristics of rubber materials. As a result of testing basic physical properties, abrasion resistance, noise resistance and crack resistance, the optimum ratio of oleamide to NBR was found to be 3 phr, while that of aramid to NBR 227001 was 1 phr.
The influence of expandable graphite (EG) on flame retardancy and foaming properties of the NBR/GTR foams was studied. The foaming properties were similar to those of NBR/GTR foams without EG when the EG contents were 10$\~$30 phr. The LOI values were increased with the EG content. For cone-calorimeter test, the data showed the trend similar to that from experiment. When the composition ratios of the compounds of NBR/GTR were 100$\~$0/80$\~$20 (w/w), and the EG contents were 10$\~$30 phr, we obtained high flame retardancy foams with low heat release rate (HRR), total heat release (THR), effective heat of combustion (EHC) and carbon monoxide yield (COY). The smoke density is similar to CO yield values obtained by the cone-calorimeter test. TGA analysis also showed the results approximately similar to those from the LOI and cone-calorimeter experiments.
The stress behavior analysis of a-rings and packing for a LPG filling unit has been presented using a finite element analysis technique by non-linear MSC/MARC program. The sealing performance and endurance of a-rings and packing are affected by working conditions such as filling pressure, friction coefficient, compression ratio, and material properties. The elastomeric polymers of O-rings and packing are nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), which are selected as proper materials of a-rings and packing based on the stress analysis results. The calculated FEM results showed that the proper material of O-ring is NBR as a secondary sealing component and the recommended material of packing is PTFE as a primary sealing unit during a LPG filling process.
A blend ratio of rubber vulcanzates comprising NBR, CR, EPDM, NR, BR, and SBR alone or blended is determind through a P.G.C. It is found that a characteristic peak of elastomer is proportional to the content of each elastomer when they are pyrolysed. It is also classified to the different AN content in NBR vulcanizates, identification of sulfur-modified and non-sulfur bearing CR polymers, and the content of ethylene, propylene monomer and the third monomer in EPDM vulcanizetes.
