Analysis of 3-monochloro-l,2-propanediol(3-MCPD) in soy sauce products in Korea

  • 3-Monochloro-1, 2-propanediol(3-MCPD) was analyzed in soy sauce products commercially available in Korea. A total of 24 samples were collected and 3-MCPD was determined by GC/MS. Sources of 24 samples were classified by manufacturing methods as naturally brewed(NB), acid hydrolyzed(AH) and mixed(M=NB+AH) soy sauces. 3-MCPD was not detected in NB soy sauce products (< 0.01 ppm, mg/kg) whereas AH and M soy sauce products showed a wide range of 3-MCPD contamination(0.01~2.038ppm). The Effect of Customers Loyal to National Brand on Brand Launch Strategy

  • Purpose - Typically, retailers will want PB(Private Brand) products to expand to the needs of low-PB loyal customers as well as existing PB(Private Brand) loyal customers. Therefore, a strategy of minimizing the share of the manufacturer brand in the distributor can be considered as a way to maximize the profit of the distributor. Research design, data, and methodology - In the previous study, the researches about the rivalry and conflict between the NB(National Brand) products and the PB products were mainly made. Previous studies did not model inter-national brand-level competition and inter-store competition. In addition, they have focused only on distributors' decisions from the manufacturer's perspective, and assume channel members have the same level of members(Choi, 1996). Results - This paper tries to apply the game theory to researches on how retailers can maximize the benefits of distributing NB(National Brand) products and PB(Private Brand) products, while distributors can also take advantage of their profits. Conclusions - It was found that providing cheap PBs did not help manufacturers and distributors. Distributors and manufacturers' profits were determined by consumers who purchased NB products that were higher in price and higher in perceived quality before providing existing PB products to consumers.

국내 시판 간장에서의 3-Monochloro-1,2-propanediol(3-MCPD) 분석 평가 (Analysis of 3-Monochloro-1,2-Propanediol (3-MCPD) in Soy Sauce Products in Korea)

  • 3-Monochloro-1,2-propanediol(3-MCPD) was analyzed in soy sauce products commercially available in Korea. A total of 24 samples were collected and 3-MCPD was determined by GC/MS. Sources of 24 samples were classified by manufacturing methods as naturally brewed(NB), acid hydrolyzed (AH) and mixed (M = NB + AH) soy sauces. 3-MCPD was not detected in NB soy sauce products (< 0.01 ppm, mg/kg) whereas AH and M soy sauce products showed a wide range of 3-MCPD contamination (0.0l ∼ 2.038 ppm). The contaminated levels of 3-MCPD in soy sauce products were higher than the permissible or tentative permissible level of 3-MCPD in both European Community (0.02 ppm) and Korea (0.3 ppm). These data suggest that 3-MCPD levels contaminated in soy sauce products in Korea were shown to be too high and should be reduced to as low a level technologically feasible to protect Korean from the exposure to toxic chemical, 3-MCPD.

$Nb/MoSi_2$ 적층복합재료의 경도특성에 미치는 제조온도의 영향 (Effect of Fabricating Temperature on Hardness Characteristics of $Nb/MoSi_2$ Laminate Composite)

  • Hardness characteristics and microstructures of $Nb/MoSi_2$ laminate composites were evaluated from the variation of fabricating conditions such as preparation temperature, applied pressure and pressure holding time. $Nb/MoSi_2$ laminate composites composed of $MoSi_2$ powder and Nb sheets were fabricated by the hot press. From experimental results, it was found that the lamination from Nb sheet and $MoSi_2$ powder was an excellent strategy to improve hardness characteristics of monolithic $MoSi_2$. However, interfacial reaction products like(Nb, Mo)$SiO_2\;and\;Nb2Si_3$ formed at the interface of $Nb/MoSi_2$ and increased with fabricating temperature.

여과지전기영동법(濾過紙電氣泳動法)에 의한 장수명(長壽命) 핵분열(核分裂) 생성물분리(生成物分離) (Paper Electrophoretic Separation of Some Long-Lived Fission Products)

  • 특별히 제작한 영동장치를 써서 고전압 전기영동법에 의하여 24시간 중성자 조사하고 150일 냉각한 90% 농축질산우라닐 수용액의 핵분열 생성물을 분리하였다. 핵분열생성물부터 Zr-95, Nb-95의 분리는 0.1M-$HClO_4$(pH=0.85), 0.05M-HCl+0.09M-KCl(pH=0.9), 0.1M-HCl(pH=1.1), 0.01M-HCl(pH=2.0)의 이동조건에서 가능하며 Zr-95, Nb-95는 원점부터 +1cm의 거리에서 분리된다. Zr-95와 Nb-95의 상호분리는 2% 수산암모늄을 첨가하는 경우 가능하다. 즉 0.1M-$HClO_4$, 0.05M-HCl+0.09M-KCl, 0.1M-HCl, 0.1M-식초산+0.1M- 식초산나트륨(pH=4.68)의 이동조건에서 원점부터 $-6{\sim}-7cm$ 거리에서 Nb-95, $+1{\sim}-1cm$ 거리에서 Zr-95가 각각 분리된다. 핵분열생성물부터 Ru-103의 분리는 0.025M-$Na_2CO_3+0.025M-NaHCO_3(pH=10.0)$, $0.01M-Na_3PO_4(pH=11.7)$, 0.1M-NaOH(pH=13.2)의 이동조건에서 가능하며 Ru-103는 각각 원점부터 -6cm, -4cm, -3cm거리 이동한다.

  • More and more applications or demands for machine parts etc are expected for AISI 440C (hereinafter referred to as "440C") Stainless Steel because of its characteristic features, i.e. high-strength as well as high-corrosion resistance. This research has enabled us to obtain sintered products with good quality even under a wide range of temperature by utilizing the pinning effect of NbC, improving the relevant sintering feature of 440C Stainless Steel in the MIM method.

Preparation of lead-free piezoelectric (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 nanopowder by a simple aqueous route

  • (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3-based ceramic powders for lead-free piezoelectric applications are usually prepared by solid state synthesis. This generally involves wet ball milling in an organic liquid such as ethanol, which is a drawback for industrial production. In the present work, a method for the preparation of NaNbO3 nanopowders is modified to produce a simple method of preparing (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 nanopowders by an aqueous route. K2CO3, Na2CO3 and NH4[NbO(C2O4)2].xH2O are mixed in water and dried to form a gel, which is then calcined at temperatures between 400 ~ 650 ℃ for 1 h. The uncalcined gel and calcination products are analysed using Thermogravimetric Analysis/Differential Thermal Analysis, X-ray Diffraction, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscopy, Transmission Electron Microscopy and Raman Scattering. A single phase tetragonal (K0.5Na0.5)NbO3 nanopowder with a particle size of ~ 30 nm can be produced after calcination at 650 ℃ for 1 h.

인삼 토양 미생물 Cellulosimicrobium sp. Gsoil 235의 배지조성에 따른 Ginsenoside $Rb_1$ 전환 (Conversion of Ginsenoside $Rb_1$ by Ginseng Soil Bacterium Cellulosimicrobium sp. Gsoil 235 According to Various Culture Broths)

  • 인삼 근권에 존재하는 토양 미생물중 esculin agar법을 이용하여 $\beta$-glucosidase를 생산하는 균주를 분리하고, 다시 ginsenoside $Rb_1$을 선택적으로 분해하는 균주 Gsoil 235를 선발 및 동정하였다. 16S rRNA 염기서열을 sequencing한 후, genebank에서 가장 가까운 type strain을 결정하여 유연 관계를 분석한 결과 Cellulosimicrobium 속의 funkei ATCC BAA-$886^T$(AY501364)와 99.7% 일치하는 균주임을 확인하였다. TSB, LB, NB등 3종류의 배지에서 균의 생장은 접종 후 12-24 시간에서 가장 잘 자라며, TSB>LB>NB의 순으로 잘 자라는 것을 알 수 있었다. ginsenoside $Rb_1$과 8, 24, 48시간 동안 반응시킨 후 TLC로 분석한 결과 NB>LB>TSB순으로 $Rb_1$ 분해 활성이 뛰어나 배지의 생장과 대조적인 결과를 얻었다. 반응시간이 증가할수록 Rd를 포함한 minor ginsenoside의 생성이 증가하였으며, 특히 다른 배지에 비해 균주 생장속도가 상대적으로 낮은 NB는 48시간 후 $Rb_1$을 거의 분해하여 강한 효소 활성을 확인할 수 있었다.

가압통전 활성연소에 의한 치밀한 NiSi2와 NiSi2-20vol.%Nb 복합재료 제조 (Simultaneous Synthesis and Densification of NiSi2 and NiSi2-20vol.%Nb Composite by Field-Activated and Pressure-Assisted Combustion)

  • A method to simultaneously synthesize and consolidate the silicide $NiSi_2$ and the composite $NiSi_2$-20vol.%Nb from powders of Ni, Si, and Nb was investigated. Combustion synthesis was carried out under the combined effect of an electric field and mechanical pressure. The final density of the products increased nearly linearly with the applied pressure. Highly dense $NiSi_2$ and $NiSi_2$-20vol.%Nb with relative densities of up to 97% were produced under the simultaneous application of a 60MPa pressure and a 3000A current on the reactant powders. The respective Vickers microhardness values for these materials were 6.0 and 5.8 GPa. From indentation crack measurements, the fracture toughness values for $NiSi_2$ and $NiSi_2$-20vol.%Nb were calculated to be 3.3 and 4.7 $MPa{\cdot}m^{1/2}$, respectively.

窒酸溶液에서의 Tributylphosphate (TBP), Dibutylphosphate (DBP)混合物에 依한 Nb의 抽出 (The Extraction of Nb from Nitric Acid Solution by Mixture of Tributylphosphate(TBP) and Dibutylphosphate(DBP))

  • Nb is one of the trouble-some fission products in the reprocessing of nuclear fuels. In this paper, the extraction of Nb from 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 9N $HNO_3$ solution by mixtures of TBP and DBP in dodecane are reported. Sums of the concentration of TBP and DBP are kept to 20%. When the concentrations of DBP are lower the $2{\times}10^{-2}%$, distribution ratios are almost same, and ratios increase abruptly and the slope is about 2.5 at between $2{\times}10^{-2}$ to $4{\times}10^{-1}%$, then slope falls down to about 0.5. There is aging effect on mixture of TBP and DBP.
