  • IGS (International GNSS Service) predicted orbits contained in IGS ultra-rapid orbits is suitable for real-time or near-real-time precise positioning. In this paper, we analyzed orbit anomalies of the IGS predicted orbits and detected the anomalies NANU (Current Notice Advisories to NAVSTAR Users) messages and IGS BRDC (Broadcast Ephemerides). As a results, the orbit anomalies of the predicted orbits were observed 93 times in 2010. In case of using the NANUs, we could get detection performance of 88% about the IGS predicted orbits's anomalies. And we could achieve 95% detection performance when the NANUs and BRDCs were used together.

  • To affect users' attitudes on social issues, some serious games use narrative which can be an effective tool to provoke users' emotions. In this paper, focus group interview on the experiences about playing was conducted to figure out if the parts of narratives containing educational goals can actually provoke certain emotions or not. From the interview, words having emotional meaning were extracted and matched with Korean Emotion Terms Database. Then the emotion terms were compared with Russell's schematic map of core affect and were categorized. The result showed that users mostly felt unpleasant emotions during the play. The unpleasant emotions helped to achieve the game's goal which is conveying the tragedy of war.

  • Over the past decades, the semiconductor industry has continuously scaled down the size of semiconductor devices to increase those performance and to integrate them at higher density on the chip. However, facing the reduction of gate control, higher leakage current, and short channel effect, there is a growing interest in next-generation semiconductors which can overcome these problems. In this paper, we discuss digital circuit design techniques using CNTFET(Carbon NanuTube Field Effect Transistor), which are attracting attention as candidates for the next generation of semiconductors. Since the structure of CNTFETs are clearly different from the structure of the structure of conventional MOSFETs, we will discuss how to utilize existing digital circuit methodology when designing digital circuits using the CNTFETs, and then simulate the performance differences between the two devices.

  • The GPS satellite has three or four atomic clocks that consist of cesiums and rubidiums and the NANU messages can be used to identify the kind of the onboard atomic clock because they classify the clock type on a daily basis. In this study, for long-term analysis of the GPS satellite clock behavior, we extracted satellite clock errors for every PRN from years 2001 through 2009 using the SP3 files that are provided by the IGS. As a result, the cesium clock offsets usually have a linear trend of drifting. On the other hand, rubidium offsets show curvilinear variations in general, even though they cannot be represented as anyone specific polynomial function. For short-term analysis, we extracted satellite clock errors for each PRN for a week-long period using the CLK files that are also provided by the IGS and curve-fitted them with first-order and second-order polynomial functions. In cases of cesium clock errors, they were well-represented by first-order polynomial functions and rubidium clock errors were similar with second-order polynomials. However, some of rubidium clock errors could not be represented as any polynomial fitting function. To analyze the characteristic of GPS satellite by each block and atomic clock, we applied Modified Allan Deviation criterion to the dataset from years 2007 and 2010. We found that the Modified Allan Deviation characteristics changed significantly according the block and atomic clock type.

  • Multiplication and spore production of three microsporidia(Nosema bombycis, Nosema sp. 1 and Nosema sp. 2) in selected tissues of pupa and adult of silkworm, Bombyx mori L. were studied in two seasons (SI, SII) with distinct temperature (SI: $20.1{\pm}0.8^{\circ}C$ and SII: $25.1{\pm}0.7^{\circ}C$) regimes. Multiplication of the microsporidia followed a logistic pattern with a lag phase, an exponential phase and a stationary phase. In SII, spore production was significantly (P<0.01) higher in various tissues. Highest spore production was observed 30 days post inoculation (p.i.) in SI and in SII, it was $21{\sim}23$ days p.i. Spore production was significantly (P<0.01) higher in the gut tissues than other tissues. Nosema sp. 2 registered significantly (P<0.01) higher spore production in both the seasons compared to Nosema bombycis and Nosema sp. 1. Results indicate that the multiplication and spore production of microsporidia are tissue specific and extremely sensitive to the temperature at which the host is reared. Through this study, the precise day that the spore numbers of the microsporidia are maximized can be predicted in both pupa and adult in case the infection is initiated in the first instar.

  • GNSS(Global Navigation Satellite System)의 하나인 GPS(Global Positioning System)를 이용한 정밀 측위에 있어서 위성의 시계오차는 측위 정확도에 매우 큰 영향을 미친다.

  • The infraspecific taxa of Adonis amurensis Regel et Radde are currently known to include one subspecies (subsp. nanus Y. Lee), two varieties (var. ramosa Makino, and var. dissectipetalis Y. Lee) and two forms (for. argentatus Y. Lee, and for. viridescensicalyx Y. Lee). Among them, the remaining three taxa except for subsp. nanus and var. dissectipetalis are unified with A. amurensis. Therefore, we examined the morphological characteristics and geographical distribution of A. amurensis in effort to elucidate the taxonomic status of subsp. nanus and var. dissectipetalis. After the subsp. nanus samples had been transplanted from their type locality, i.e. highland at more than 1,000 m above sea level, to a lowland habitat, we measured the samples' morphological characteristics. The range of values we recorded of the plant height and floral diameter from the subsp. nanus samples were within the parameters used to characterize A. amurensis. Accordingly, subsp. nanus has been characterized as an ecophene of A. amurensis. It is considered as a synonym of A. amurensis. Among the populations of A. amurensis (sensu Y.Lee, author), those with highly dissected petals at their apices have previously been described as var. dissectipetalis. However, this characteristic has been observed together with obtuse or rounded petal apices not only in one population but also in a single individual. However, populations with these characteristics belong to A. pseudoamurensis due to the simultaneous development of leaves and flowers, branched stems, acute leaf apices, and petals that are shorter than sepals. Therefore, we suggest that A. amurensis var. dissectipetalis be unified with A. pseudoamurensis. Very useful characteristics for distinguishing A. amurensis from its relative species are anthesis, the presence or absence of branches, the development of scales into normal leaves, the relative length of the sepals and petals, and the position of the stipules. A. amurensis is geographically restricted to E. Asia, including E. Siberia, and especially on the Korean Peninsula, it is distributed throughout the northern provinces of Gyeonggi province and in Gangwon province, Gyeongbuk province (Mt. Bohyeon-san) and Jeonbuk province (Mt Jeoksang-san) along Baekdudaegan mountain.
