$CaNi_{5}$ 및 MG-$CaNi_{5}$ 전극의 퇴화거동에 미치는 불화처리의 영향 (The Effect of F-treatment on the Degradation Behavior of the $CaNi_{5}$ and MG-$CaNi_{5}$ Electrodes)

  • Effects of the fluorination in the $K_2$TiF\ulcorner solution and in-situ KF+ KOH electrolyte on the electrochemical charge-discharge properties of CaNi\ulcorner and the Mg-CaNi\ulcorner electrodes were investigated. In-situ fluorination in the KF+ KOH electrolyte compared with pre-fluorination in the$ K_2$TiF\ulcorner solution could improve the electrochemical cycling durability of CaNi\ulcorner and MG-CaN\ulcorner electrodes. The fluorinated layer on the alloy surface by pre-fluorination to improve the activity and anti-corrosion of the electrodes was dissolved in the pure KOH electrolyte during the cycling. The fluorinated layer was formed continuously on the surface of the electrode by thee2N KF addition in the 6N KOH electrolyte. The excess F\ulcorner ion addition in KOH electrolyte could improve the electrochemical cycling durability of CaNi\ulcorner and Mg-CaNi\ulcorner electrode. But, in case of MG-CaNi\ulcorner electrode, the discharge capacity of the electrode was reduced and the poor cycling property was shown with increasing of the MG process times.

  • A new synthetic method of 2,5-disubstituted pyrrolidines is developed by the cyclization of unsaturated N-benzoyloxysulfonamides by $(CuOTf)_2{\cdot}C_6H_6$ in refluxing dichloroethane. Various N-4- and N-5-alkenyl and alkynyl N-benzoyloxysulfonamides are cyclized to give pyrrolidines. The cyclization proceeds via addition of sulfonamidoyl radicals to intramolecular unsaturated bonds or allylic hydrogen abstraction with the radical intermediates.

지속성 영양염제와 유분산제가 해변모래에 오염된 유류의 생분해에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Slow Release Fertilizer and Dispersant on Biodegradation of Oil Contaminated in Sand Seashore Mesocosms)

  • 해변에 오염된 유류의 생분해를 증진시키기 위한 지속성 영양염제(Slow Release Fertilizer; SRE)와 유분산제 ($Corexit 9527^{R}$)의 처 리효과를 평가하기 위하여 2 회의 mesocosm실험을 실시하였다. 1 차 현장실험 에서 SRP처리구의 지방족 탄화수소분해율과 n-$C_{17}$/pristane, n-$C_{18}$/phytane비의 감소율은 시험 37일에 각각 85%,69%,61% 로 뚜렷한 생물정화 효과를 보였다. 반면에 $Corexit 9527^{R}$ 처리구에서 지방족 탄화수소의 분해율은 실험기간동안 56%로 대조구(50%)보다 뚜렷한 생물정화효과가 나타나지 않았으며 $Corexit 9527^{R}$과 n-$C_{18}$/phytane비의 감소율 또한 27%, 17%로 대조구(60%, 46%)보다 낮아 유류화합물의 생물정화가 오히려 억제되었다는 사실을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 2차 현장실험에서 SRF와 $Corexit 9527^{R}$을 함께 첨가한 처리구의 생물정화 결과는 지방족 탄화수소의 양, n-$C_{17}$/pristane과 n-$C_{18}$/phytane비의 변화를 관찰한 결과 억제효과는 크지 않았다. 이러한 결과로부터 유류유출시 영양물질의 첨가는 유류분해도를 향상시키는 반면,유분산제를 이용한 처리방법은 자연적인 생물정화기능을 오히려 억제 또는 제한하기 때문에 사용여부가 신중하게 고려되어야 함을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 유류오염사고 국가 긴급방제계획에 의한 유분산제의 대량 사용은 생물정화기술의 적용을 염두에 두고 재평가되어야 한다.

ZnO 첨가에 따른 PMW-PNN-PZT 세라믹스의 유전 및 압전 특성 (Dielectric and Piezoelectric Properties of PMW-PNN-PZT Ceramics As a Function of ZnO Addition)

  • In this paper, in order to develop the composition ceramics with the excellent dielectric properties, $Pb(Mg_{1/2}W_{1/2})_{0.03}(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_{0.09}(Zr_{0.5}Ti_{0.5})_{0.88}O_3$ ceramics were fabricated by the conventional solid-state method. The effects of ZnO addition on their microstructure and piezoelectric properties were systematically investigated. The rhombohedral-tetragonal phase coexistence has been found in the ceramics without ZnO content and then with further increasing ZnO content, specimens exhibited tetragonal phase. The optimized ZnO content formed liquid phase and aided the grain growth of specimens. When 0.4 wt% ZnO was added, the optimal physical properties ($d_{33}=422pC/N$, $d_{31}=161pC/N$, ${\varepsilon}_r=1,905$, $k_p=0.55$, $Q_m=160$) were obtained.

  • The alkyl Grignard addition reaction on 1-benzyltetrazolylimine proceeds to give N-alkylated products (azophilic addition) and, in contrast, the same reaction on 2-benzyltetrazolylimine produced predominantly C-alkylated products (carbophilic addition). In this report we described theoretical explanations for this experimental finding on the basis of the frontier molecular orbitals and the electrostatic nature of the reactants and the reaction intermediates.

스퍼터링시 수소첨가가 MIS소자용 AIN절연박막의 전기적특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of hydrogen addition during sputtering on the electrical properties of AIN insulating films for MIS device application)

  • 반응성 스퍼터링법으로 AIN 박막을 증착하여 Al/AlN/Si구조의 MIS소자용 절연박막으로서의 응용가능성에 대해 연구하였다. 기판온도 $300^{\circ}C$, RF power 150W, 스퍼터링 압력 5mTorr, 아르곤과 질소 가스유량비 1:1 의 조건에서 5%의 수소가스를 부가적으로 첨가해 주는 시기에 따른 AIN박막의 표면형상변화, I-V특성, C-V특성, 조성을 조사하였다. 수소첨가에 따라 증착속도는 상당히 감소하였으나 표면형상 및 거칠기는 크게 변하지 않았다. I-V특성에서는 AIN 박막 증착시 초기 20분간 수소첨가를 시킨 경우가 후기 20분간 수소첨가를 시킨 경우보다 보다 우수한 절연특성을 보였다. 또한 C-V특성에서도 수소가 첨가됨에 따라 플랫밴드전압이 매우 낮아졌으며, 초기 20분간 수소첨가를 시킨 경우는 히스테리시스를 거의 보이지 않았으나, 후기 20분간 수소첨가를 시킨 경우는 상당한 히스테리시스를 보였다. AES를 이용한 조성분석을 통해 수소가스가 첨가됨에 따라 AIN박막내의 산소농도가 낮아진다는 사설을 발견하였고, 이에 따라 박막의 절연특성 및 C-V특성이 향상될 수 있는 가능성을 보였다.

옥수수 근권토양으로부터 N2O 환원 근권세균 Pseudomonas sp. M23의 분리 및 특성 (Isolation and Characterization of a N2O-Reducing Rhizobacterium, Pseudomonas sp. M23 from Maize Rhizosphere Soil)

  • 옥수수 근권 토양으로부터의 N2O 환원 근권세균인 Pseudomonas sp. M23을 분리하였다. M23 균주의 최대 N2O 환원속도는 15.6 mmol·g-dry cell-1·h-1이었다. M23 균주의 N2O 환원 활성은 디젤 오염물에 의해 저해받지 않았고, 옥수수와 톨페스큐 뿌리삼출물 첨가에 의해 향상되었다. M23 균주 접종은 옥수수와 톨페스큐를 이용한 디젤 오염 토양의 정화 효율을 저해하지 않았다. M23 균주를 접종한 토양에서 재배한 식물체의 뿌리무게는 미접종 토양에서의 뿌리무게보다 컸으나, 유의적 차이는 없었다. 이러한 결과는 Pseudomonas sp. M23이 유류 오염 토양의 근권정화 과정에서 N2O 배출을 저감하는데 활용 가능한 유용한 세균임을 시사한다.

A Trapping Behavior of GaN on Diamond HEMTs for Next Generation 5G Base Station and SSPA Radar Application

  • We demonstrated a successful fabrication of 4" Gallium Nitride (GaN)/Diamond High Electron Mobility Transistors (HEMTs) incorporated with Inner Slot Via Hole process. We made in manufacturing technology of 4" GaN/Diamond HEMT wafers in a compound semiconductor foundry since reported [1]. Wafer thickness uniformity and wafer flatness of starting GaN/Diamond wafers have improved greatly, which contributed to improved processing yield. By optimizing Laser drilling techniques, we successfully demonstrated a through-substrate-via process, which is last hurdle in GaN/Diamond manufacturing technology. To fully exploit Diamond's superior thermal property for GaN HEMT devices, we include Aluminum Nitride (AlN) barrier in epitaxial layer structure, in addition to conventional Aluminum Gallium Nitride (AlGaN) barrier layer. The current collapse revealed very stable up to Vds = 90 V. The trapping behaviors were measured Emission Microscope (EMMI). The traps are located in interface between Silicon Nitride (SiN) passivation layer and GaN cap layer.

Comparative study of InGaN/GaN multi-quantum wells in polar (0001) and semipolar (11-22) GaN-based light emitting diodes

  • We investigated the crystal and the optical properties of GaN-based blue light emitting diodes (LEDs) which were simultaneously grown on c-plane (0001) and semipolar (11-22) GaN templates by using metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD). The X-ray rocking curves (XRCs) full width at half maximums (FWHMs) of c-plane (0001) and semipolar (11-22) GaN templates were 275 and 889 arcsec, respectively. In addition, high-resolution X-ray ω-2θ scan showed that satellite peaks of semipolar (11-22) InGaN quantum-wells (QWs) was weaker and broader than that of c-plane (0001) InGaN QWs, indicating that the interface quality of c-plane (0001) QWs was superior to that of semipolar (11-22) QWs. Photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence (EL) results showed that the emission intensity and the FWHMs of polar c-plane (0001) LED were much higher and narrower than those of semipolar (11-22) LED, respectively. From these results, we believed that relative poor crystal quality of semipolar (11-22) GaN template might give rise to the poor interfacial quality of QWs, resulting in lower output power than conventional c-plane (0001) GaN-based LEDs.

Evaluation of enteral formulas for nutrition, health, and quality of life among stroke patients

  • Enteral nutritional support has been used via tube feeding for dysphagic stroke patients. We performed long and short term trials to evaluate the effects of commercial enteral nutritional supports on nutrition and health in stroke patients (mRS = 3~5) and quality of life in their caregivers. For a long term study, we recruited chronic (${\geq}$ 1 yrs) stroke patients (n = 6) and administered them 6 cans/day (1,200 kcal) of the commercial enteral formula N for 6 months according to IRB-approved protocol. We collected peripheral blood at 0, 2, 4 and 6 months. For a short term study, we recruited acute (${\leq}$ 3 months) stroke patients (n = 12) and randomly administered them two different commercial enteral formulas, N or J, for 2 weeks. We collected their blood at 0, 4, 7 and 14 day of the administration. Blood samples were analyzed to quantify 19 health and nutritional biomarkers and an oxidative stress biomarker, malondialdehyde (MDA). In order to evaluate quality of life, we also obtained the sense of competence questionnaire (SCQ) from all caregivers at 'before' and 'after trials'. As results, the enteral formula, N, improved hemoglobin and hematocrit levels in the long term trial and maintained most of biomarkers within normal ranges. The SCQ levels of caregivers were improved in the long term treatment (P < 0.05). In a case of the short term study, both of enteral formulas were helpful to maintain nutritional status of the patients. In addition, MDA levels were decreased in the acute patients following formula consumption (0.05 < P < 0.1). Most of health and nutrition outcomes were not different, even though there is a big difference in price of the two products. Thus, we evaluate the formula N has equal nutritional efficacy compared to the formula J. In addition, long term use of enteral formula N can be useful to health and nutrition of stroke patients, and the quality of life for their caregivers.
