  • Multiple myeloma, which is a proliferative disease of plasma cells that originate from a single clone, is the second most common hematologic malignancy following non-Hodgkin lymphoma. In the past, its diagnosis was made based on clinical findings (so-called "CRAB") and a skeletal survey using radiographs. However, since the implementation of the International Myeloma Working Group's revised guideline regarding the radiologic diagnosis of multiple myeloma, whole-body (WB) MRI has emerged to play a central role in the early diagnosis of multiple myeloma. Diffusion-weighted imaging and fat quantification using Dixon methods enable treatment response assessment by MRI. In keeping with the trend, a multi-institutional and multidisciplinary consensus for standardized image acquisition and reporting known as the Myeloma Response Assessment and Diagnostic System (MY-RADS) has recently been proposed. This review aims to describe the clinical application of WB-MRI based on MY-RADS in multiple myeloma, discuss its limitations, and suggest future directions for improvement.

  • The purposes of this research were to understand the realities of health management and to analyze the subjective, functional, psychological, and social health effects of the application of an exercise and education program to manage health on an elderly population residing in an agricultural community. The specific purposes of this research were: 1. to determine the subjective, functional, psychological health conditions, and performance level of instrumental activities of daily living of both the experimental and control groups before introducing a health management program, and then 2. to compare these with both the experimental and control groups' subjective, functional, psychological health condition and performance level of instrumental activities of daily living after applying the health management program. The health management program was introduced to the experimental group (50 people) but not to the control group (50 people). The health management program was composed of a health exercise program and a health education program. A comparative study of subjective health conditions was done to examine the effect of the health management program and the characteristics of health related variables before and after the program application. The results were as follows: 1. When the experimental group, which had received the 8-week health management exercise and education program, was compared with the control group, which had not, the experimental group's subjective health condition scored higher than that of the control group (p

  • Purpose: The purpose of this survey was to assess the satisfaction of patients suffering from musculoskeletal pain with physical therapy (PT) in Busan, Daegu, and Kyeongsang provinces using a Korean-language version of the patient satisfaction questionnaire with physical therapy service (PSPT). Methods: A total of 654 patients, having PT for their musculoskeletal pains, participated. Consenting subjects completed a 20-item PSPT on their $6^{th}$ or last treatment day. Simple descriptive statistics were used for respondent characteristics, and mean of satisfaction score in each item. Regression analysis was performed on each item of the questionnaire. Results: 654 subjects responded during or after their PT services. 297 (45.5%) of them were male and the most common site of pain was the spine. The mean of each item score (1-5) ranged from 2.14 for "my therapist did not listen to my concerns" to 4.12 for "my therapist treated me respectfully". Receptionist's attitude, registration process, service time of the hospital, and answer to the patient's questions greatly affected the general satisfaction of the respondents. Conclusion: The results showed high levels of satisfaction to the general process for obtaining treatment as well as the therapist's attitudes toward their patients. They may provide valuable patients' feedback regarding PT service for musculoskeletal pain. Therefore, it may be used by physical therapists to improve future patient experiences with a view to improving the patient's attendance and compliance with the PT service protocols for patients suffering from musculoskeletal pain.

  • This study investigated the effects of costume styling, color and texture on character expression in the movies "All About My Wife" and "Marriage Blue". As a study method, the main scenes were captured from the DVD image and the costumes of the main characters were analyzed to examine how the costumes express the personality change according to the story development of the characters. The characters in "All About My Wife" and "Marriage Blue" were studied to see how their personality changes as the story develops and how the costume supports the personality change of those characters. It was checked that costume contributes to effectively deliver the emotion of the characters to audience. In the movies, costume plays an important role in completing the character, and styling, color, and texture of the costume are one of the important means of expression. In a movie, costumes, styling, color, and texture contribute towards development of each character's character. And these elements act synergistically by acting simultaneously rather than independently, thus defining the image of the costume and playing a role in building characters. Movie directors persuade the audience by expressing their intentions in various ways. Among them, movie costume is one of the most effective expression tools. The styling, color, and texture of the clothes are practical and effective methodology that will create a character, so I hope that the field of film art will be researched extensively in the future.

  • This study has attempted to study self-cultural skills about my experience in life with a spouse with a physical disability with myself. The 'autoethnography' is a combination of an autobiography describing a personal and subjective life and a ethnography that studies the culture of a social group, and it is a way of expressing self-narrative experiences and experiences related to the context or context of a social group. The analysis showed that the researcher divided into three periods, one for the researcher himself, and defined the first for 'the single life that seemed to last forever'. The second period was the meeting of the disabled facility called 'The Village of the Virgin Mary'. The Third period is the time of meeting with the disabled partner and the life with him, and it is the time to experience a spouse with a rather sensitive disability. Last, it's the time of understanding and effort for my physical disability partner. Qualitative research is a research process that must be understood based on a unique methodological research tradition that explores social or human problems. And, we expect to expand into more analytical and systematic research in future research.

  • The importance of data as a core resource of the 4th industrial revolution is emerging, and companies illegally collect and use personal data. In the financial sector, active research is conducted to safely manage personal data and provide better services using blockchain, big data, and AI technology. In this paper, we propose a system that can safely manage personal data by using blockchain technology, which can be used without changing the existing system. The composition of this system consists of a blockchain, blockchain linkages, a service provider, and a user (i.e., an app). Blockchain can be used regardless of its type and form, and services are provided by classifying blockchains and services in the blockchain linkages. Service providers can access personal data only after requesting and receiving delegated permission from users. Existent MyData services store all data in a user's mobile phone, so information may get leaked due to jailbreaks or rooting. But in the proposed system, personal data are stored in blockchain so information leakage can be prevented. In the future, we will study ways to provide customized services using personal data stored in blockchain.

  • The underwater glider is an autonomous vehicle that can glide through the ocean interior by using a pair of wings attached to its body and can move up and down through the water column by changing its buoyancy. As of now, there are three widely-used gliders, namely, the Spray that was co-developed by Scripps Oceanographic Institution and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, the Slocum produced by the Webb Research Cooperation, and the Seaglider that was produced by the University of Washington. In this paper, I will introduce these three gliders and discuss the principles and procedures related to glider operation as well as the application and extendability of modern physical and bio-geochemical sensors to gliders. My experiences in developing a glider for measuring ocean turbulence and testing it 7 times during 12 days are shared in this paper. On the basis of my experiences and knowledge, different kinds of aspects that should be considered for successful glider operation are discussed. In addition, a suggestion is made as to what would be the ideal way to operate underwater gliders in the East/Japan Sea. At the end, the current status of active glider operation teams is presented and the efforts to proceed toward future gliders are briefly introduced.

  • The emergence of ubiquitous computing environment will change the service architecture of business information systems such as Decision Support System(DSS), which will be a new application. Recent mobile DSSs allow the decision makers to be benefited from web and mobile technology. However, they seldom refer to context data, which are useful for proactive decision support. Meanwhile, ubiquitous applications so far provide restricted personalization service using context and preference of the user, that is, they do not fully make use of decision making capabilities. Hence, this paper aims to describe how the decision making capability and context-aware computing are jointly used to establish ubiquitous applications. To do so, an amended DSS paradigm: CKDDM(Context-Knowledge-Dialogue-Data-Model) is proposed in this paper. What will be considered for the future decision support systems when we regard ubiquitous computing technology as an inevitable impact that enforces the change of the way of making decisions are described. Under the CKDDM paradigm, a framework of ubiquitous decision support systems(ubiDSS) is addressed with the description of the subsystems within. To show the feasibility of ubiDSS, a prototype system, CAMA-myOpt(Context-Aware Multi Agent System-My Optimization) has been implemented as an illustrative example system.
