  • This study is to suggest the considerations in the rules for authorized access points for collocation of music work by figuring out the directions of authorized access points in FRBR, LRM, ICP 2016, RDA, and BIBFRAME, and by analyzing RDA rules for attributes and authorized access points of music works and expression and VIAF examples. First, an aggregated authorized access points were suggested as the direction of authorized access points, and original title may be selected as preferred title and the authorized access point may be based on forms in one of the languages suited to the users, if the original title is not normally suited. Second, music works's authorized access points is consisted of composer authorized access point and preferred title, and of adapter's authorized access point and preferred title in case of lacks of responsibility in composer. Also, the authorized access point of Korean traditional music work must be reviewed according to work types considering the responsibility of composer. Third, the controlled vocabularies for name of music type, medium of performance, and key could be considered for describing the attributes of work and expression. This study would be the foundation study for the authorized access point of music work, and additional research should be completed through surveying music user's need.

  • The current study explored if users' self-relevance of the comparison domain with creative AI robot in music composition affected their envy toward the robot, cognitive assessment toward the music and intention toward working with robot in future. This study conducted a 2 (degree of self-relevance: high(college students majoring in music) vs. low(those not majoring in music) × 2 (working type: robot-only vs. robot-human collaboration) between-subjects factorial design experiment. The findings revealed that those majoring in music did not feel envious of the robot as much as those not majoring in music. However, compared to those not majoring in music, those majoring in music evaluated the robot's creativity lower, had more negative attitude toward the music, showed less intention to use the music and work with the robots in future. No interaction between the degree of self-relevance and the working type was found.

  • In this paper, we analyze and study about the incidental music focusing on the Frederick Delius's choral music without instrumental accompaniment. Incidental music refers to music composed for a play, often played between acts or as background music. Typically, incidental music is discussed within the realm of classical music, but historically, it has evolved into background music for various media. Additionally, incidental music is predominantly instrumental rather than vocal or choral. However, Frederick Delius expanded the scope of incidental music to include choral elements. Delius's efforts opened new possibilities for incidental music, enhancing the integration of drama and music. His works transcend mere background music, enriching the atmosphere and emotions of the play. This provides the audience with a more immersive experience and elevates the artistic value of incidental music. Frederick Delius's unaccompanied choral work, "Two songs to be Sung of a Summer Night on the Water" is characterized by their lack of lyrics and melodic and harmonic texture, making them even more suitable as incidental music.

As the collaborated work, combining the dance, images with the Isang Yun's music, is showing the staged music, which is expressing the music not only through the sound but also the visualization. In the process of visualizing the music through the body and images on the stage, Isang Yun's musics are recreated in the hand of today's artists. The study found that the recreated work from the new point of view, like Interview with Isang Yun can be the bridge between the composer and today's artists and we can see the future through it. Even though, this paper analyzed the work through the aspects of dance and images, the main theme of the work is focusing how can we deliver the music in the new representative form through formative visualization on the stage.

  • Through Information and Communication Technology (ICT), the growth of music streaming platforms has revolutionized music consumption. "Digital Shadow Work" (DSW) refers to unpaid labor in digital spaces, with some prior research on its aspects. However, a comprehensive understanding is hindered by limitations in existing studies such as a lack of universality and dynamic exploration. To address these gaps and enable a comprehensive investigation into the role of DSW within highly versatile digital applications such as digital streaming platforms, this study employs a grounded theory methodology, a qualitative approach well-suited for exploring the intricacies of DSW among users of Chinese music streaming applications over a two-month period, involving longitudinal interviews with nine participants. The study findings elucidate the dynamic nature of DSW perceptions, which fluctuate across different stages of use and change in intensity over time. This study uncovers mixed attitudes towards DSW tasks, and observes a waning enthusiasm for social features over time, prompting some users to consider switching platforms. This study highlights the importance of thoughtful and user-centric feature development to enhance user satisfaction and the understanding of DSW, providing practical design and enhancement implications for music streaming applications.

This study aimed to investigate the impact of resource-oriented music listening on work-related stress among employees on international deployment. The study recruited 10 participants of varying ages and occupations who had worked abroad for at least three years and conducted five personalized resource-oriented music listening sessions along with interviews. The Global Assessment of Recent Stress Scale (GARS) and Job Stress Scale (JSS) were used to measure stress levels before and after the intervention. Results showed that participants' work-related stress and perceived stress were significantly reduced following the music therapy intervention. The study also found that "awareness of own's life situation" and "self-acceptance of here and now emotional challenges" were factors that reduced regulatory stress among employees on international deployment. This study highlights the potential of resource-oriented music listening as a useful tool for managing workplace stress and promoting the well-being of expatriate employees.

  • Shin Hae-Chul's music opened a new horizon in the Korean pop music market where only popular music is produced and the music of a similar genre or pattern is mainstream, which has dissolved the complaints of the public who longed for new music. He experimented with his musical potential every time he released his work, which received favorable reviews in that he raised the level of Korean pop music. To solve the unstable factors in today's pop music, it is important to appeal to the public by capturing quality work through continued studies and creative activities. In that context, the attitude of "Next" is led by the late Shin Hae-Chul, and his qualities as an artist greatly contributed to the development of Korean pop music. This indicates that if musicians strive to develop themselves, and strengthen their creative ability to make bold and new attempts, Korean pop music will lead to another fashionable "K-pop" and will open up a new horizon.
