In this paper, we implemented a system which provides more effective conference control than that of video conferencing system has been used on MBone. The system provides multicast service on the non-broadcasting network. It multicasts multimedia data using several MTS(Multipoint Transport Server)s and provides a tightly coupled conference control service with a CCS(Conference Control Server). As providing a tightly coupled conference control service, we can perform effectively video conferencing using this system.

We developed the conferencing system based on the conference service model which is defined in ITU-T T. 120 series standard. Our conferencing service system is operated over the local area network. The NetMeeting of Microsoft corporation is used as a terminal and the MCU is developed by ourselves. In this paper, we described the design and implementation method of transport protocol stack supporting Multipoint Communication Service (MCS). Also, we described the occurred problem during the interoperability test between MCU and NetMeeting. And then we suggested their solution.

MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching)망에서 LSP(Label Switched Path)의 수와 레이블 수를 줄이는 것은 망 자원 관리 측면에서 매우 중요하다. 다중점대점(Multipoint-to-Point) LSP[1]는 이러한 요구사항으로 제안되었다. 하나의 다중점대점 LSP는 다수의 망 입구 노드로부터 하나의 망 출구 노드까지의 경로를 나타낸다. 다중 점대점 LSP는 미리 정의된 경로이다. 망 형태 정보가 빈번히 변하는 실제 망을 고려할 대 다중점대점 LSP는 경로가 신속히 재결정될 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 망의 트래픽 부하 균형을 위해 Monte-Carlo 시뮬레이션을 이용한 빠른 LSP 결정 방법을 제시한다. 또한 경로 결정시 Greedy 알고리즘을 사용하므로 최적의 다중점대점 LSP 결정에 접근하는 경로를 결정한다.

지식관리시스템은 기관 및 회사들에서 자신들의 조직에 맞는 시스템으로 구축하여 기사용하고 있다. 조직별 지식관리시스템에서는 하나의 조직에서 발생할 수 있는 지식만을 축적하고 있다 최근 지식 고도화 및 혁신사업의 하나인 '지식관리'를 위해 다른 조직의 지식관리시스템과의 연계를 통한 지식 공유 및 기존 지식들에서 양질의 지식을 창출탈 수 있는 체계적 지식관리시스템 구축에 주안점을 두고 있다. 본 논문에서는 별도로 개발된 다수의 지식관리시스템 사이의 연계를 위한 통신 방식을 살펴보고, 시스템 구축의 편의를 도모할 수 있는 미들웨어인 CORBA와 Java Message Service (JMS)를 활용한 메시지 다중 전송 서비스 연계방식을 제안한다.

ATM FORUM에서 권고 하고 있는 UNI4.0 기능은 기존의 ITU-T등에서 권고 하고 있는 UNI 기능의 대부분을 포함하고 있으며, 앞으로 예상되는 많은 서비스의 기본 인터페이스로 권고 되고 있다. 본 글에서는 UNI4.0 의 여러 기능 중에서 점대다중점 서비스를 지원하기 위하여 실제로 망에서 구현한 한 예를 토대로 시그널링 프로토콜의 처리 기준과 호의 제어시 교환 S/W에서 고려 하여야 할 사항을 기술하였으며, 마지막으로 서비스의 응용을 전망하여 본다.

This paper has been studied a interworking signalling protocol between two hybrid networks by analyzing Satellite B-ISDN architecture, DSS2 Layer 3 Signalling protocol B-ISUP protocol, S-BISUP protocol stack and so on. Also in the paper, messages and primitives have been defined for B-ISDN's Connection Type, Ownership and each protocol in order to connect point-to-multipoint. And then this paper has designed basic call procedures for OBP Satellite B-ISDN NNI inter-working protocol, verified and implemented them.
