  • The present study examines whether fear of negative evaluation, social comparison and self-criticism mediate the relationship between insecure attachment and career indecision. Participants are 401 unemployed people in their 20s who have never had a job. The major findings of this study are as follows. First, correlation analysis indicates that both anxious attachment and avoidant attachment are positively related to fear of negative evaluation and self-criticism. Also, anxious attachment is positively correlated with social comparison, whereas avoidant attachment is negatively correlated with it. Second, both insecure attachments have significant positive correlation with career indecision. Third, it shows the respective unique mechanisms by which each of the two insecure attachment forms are related to career indecision are distinctive: Specifically, The linkage between anxious attachment and career indecision is partially mediated by self-criticism and social comparison, whereas avoidant attachment is indirectly related to career indecision through a full mediation of self-criticism and social comparison. Implications and limitations of this study are discussed.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of the parent-adolescent career congruence process in the association between the parent-adolescent relationship and career identity of South Korean college students. In particular, we investigated which kind of career congruence process mediates the positive effect of the interdependent parent-adolescent relationship (in support of emotional bond and filial piety) and the independent parent-adolescent relationship (in support of independence and autonomy) on career identity. Data of 509 college students were analyzed for this study, and parallel multiple mediation analysis was performed. As a result, the complementary and attunement congruence process fully mediated the relationship between parent-adolescent affective bonding and career identity. Authoritative filial piety had a negative direct effect on career identity, but a positive indirect effect by mediating the complementary and attunement congruence process. The mediation analysis showed that both complementary and attunement congruence process fully mediated the association between independent parent-adolescent relationship and career identity. However, family intrusion had only a negative direct effect on career identity. On the other hand, the supplementary congruence process did not have significant mediating effects between all types of parent-adolescent relationships and career identity. Also, the supplementary congruence process had a negative direct effect on career identity. Based on these results, we discussed culturally universal and culturally specific characteristics of the relationship between parent-adolescent relationships and career identity, along with the limitations and recommendations for future research.

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the double mediating effects of job stress and psychological commitment in the relationship between organizational incivility and job satisfaction of child-care teachers in South Korea. 234 Korean child-care teachers were purposively selected from S city of C Province. SPSS Win.25.0 and PROCESS Macro 4.2 were used for analyzing the data, and reliability analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple mediation model analysis were conducted. Results are as follows. First, correlation analysis showed significant correlations between organizational incivility, job stress, psychological commitment, and job satisfaction. Second, path analysis showed that organizational incivility had a positive effect on job stress and a negative effect on psychological commitment and job satisfaction. Job stress had a negative and significant effect on psychological commitment and job satisfaction, and psychological commitment had a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Third, job stress and psychological commitment had consecutive double mediation in the link between organizational incivility and job satisfaction. This study suggests a way to utilize job stress and psychological commitment when childcare teachers' organizational incivility has a negative effect on job satisfaction.

  • This study investigated the mediating effect of critical thinking disposition on the relationship between ego resilience and self-leadership of nursing students. The subjects of the study were 193 third-year and fourth-year nursing students from three universities in G Province, and data were collected from November 1 to November 19, 2021. The collected data were subjected to descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression using the SPSS/WIN 23.0 program. The mediation effect was analyzed using Baron and Kenny's three-step procedure, and the statistical significance of the mediation effect was verified using the Sobel test. As a result of this study, self-leadership was positively correlated with ego resilience(r=.43, p<.001) and critical thinking disposition(r=.51, p<.001), and ego resilience was positively correlated with critical thinking disposition(r =.58, p<.001). It was found that there was a partial mediating effect of critical thinking disposition in the relationship between ego resilience and self-leadership(Sobel test: Z=5.05, p<.001). Therefore, in order to increase the self-leadership of nursing students, an integrated approach is needed to improve ego resilience and critical thinking disposition.

  • The purpose of this study was to provide basic data to help individuals with disabilities in single-person households maintain a happy life by analyzing how interpersonal skills necessary for community adaptation and self-esteem, which are personal factors, affect life satisfaction. The self-esteem mediation effect was verified with SPSS Process Macro 4.3 using data on 828 single-person households sourced from the seventh wave of the Disability Employment Panel Survey(2022) conducted by the Employment Development Institute of the Korea Disability Employment Service. To examine the effects of interpersonal skills and self-esteem on life satisfaction, a multiple regression analysis was conducted. While it was found that higher self-esteem was associated with higher life satisfaction, interpersonal skills did not have a significant effect on this association. The path from interpersonal skills to life satisfaction via self-esteem was deemed statistically significant, suggesting that self-esteem mediates the relationship between interpersonal skills and life satisfaction. This study emphasizes the importance of interpersonal relationships for the life satisfaction of individuals with disabilities in single-person households in a modern society in which the problem of social isolation experienced by individuals in single-person households is emerging. Furthermore, it provides a direction for these individuals to become the main actors of their own lives.

  • The role of entrepreneurship has become important for the continuous growth (scale-up) of companies in a rapidly changing economic environment. However, research has focused mainly on business-oriented growth that emphasizes efficiency only. However, in the era of the fourth industrial revolution, people have become more important than corporate efficiency. In particular, there are few studies on SMEs. The purpose of this study is to investigate how the characteristics of human - centered organizational culture affects the business ecosystem and firm excellence of SMEs, and how business ecosystem and firm excellence affect the performance of corporations. Therefore, this study focuses on the empathy, enablement, empowerment, and engagement of the corporate culture characteristics of the enterprise and the effects of the independent variables on the business ecosystem and the flower excellence as the parameters and the business ecosystem and company excellence. The main research subjects are the causality analysis that examines the effects on the management performance. The results of the study are as follows. Empathy, enablement, empowerment, engagement have a significant impact on the business ecosystem. In addition, the engagement have a positive effect on firm excellence. The results of empirical studies on the causal relationship between business ecosystem, corporate competence, and company excellence and business performance show that business ecosystem has no statistically significant effect on business performance. Corporate excellence has a significant effect on business performance Respectively. In addition to the above findings, this study can suggest the following implications. First, it is an empirical study of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) by utilizing people-oriented entrepreneurship in addition to existing research. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are expected to have lower perceptions of people-oriented management than large corporations or public institutions, but the analysis shows that people-centered entrepreneurship has a significant impact on the business ecosystem. Second, the research results of the serial multiple mediating effect analysis show that the higher the atmosphere of entrepreneurship in a company, the higher the atmosphere of entrepreneurship, and the parameters of business ecosystem and company excellence in the effect of people-oriented entrepreneurship on management performance. It is that the path through which people-oriented entrepreneurship influences management performance was verified by verifying the mediating effect by inputting. Lastly, it is hoped that research on people-oriented entrepreneurship in Korea's SMEs will be activated, providing a theoretical basis for transforming SMEs' business models into innovative types.
