  • In this paper, we have developed a model to determine the input quantity to be processed at each stage of a multi-stage production system in which the yield at each stage may be random and may need reworking at this stage. Yield randomness. especially in a semiconductor industry, is a most challenging problem for production control. The demand for flnal product is uncertain. We have extended the model proposed in Park and Kim[9] to consider a multiple number of reworkings which can be done at any stage prior to or tat the stage whose output in bad, depending on the level of the defect.

  • The air and impurity gaps generated by a defect in homogeneous material have a difference index of refraction compare to the homogeneous material. Therefore an electromagnetic wave has a multiple reflection between the two indices of refraction. If the gap has a small thickness, it is difficult to know the gap in time domain. However, the presence of the gaps can be known in frequency domain by total transmission and phase difference. Also, the thickness and index of refraction can be measured by well known Febry-Perot theory.

  • The object of multiresponse optimization is to determine conditions on hte independent variables that lead to optimal or nearly optimal values of the response variables. Derringer and Suich (1980) extended Harrington's (1965) procedure by introducing more general transformations of the response into desirability functions. The core of the desirability a, pp.oach condenses a multivariate optimization into a univariate one. But because of the subjective nature of this a, pp.oach, inexperience on the part of the user in assessing a product's desirability value may lead to inaccurate results. To compensate for this defect, a weighted desirability function is introduced which takes into consideration the vriances of the responses.

  • Purpose: Cleidocranial dysostosis is a rare hereditary disorder affecting bones that develop by intramembranous formation. The typical features include excessive growth of transverse diameter of the skull, hypoplastic clavicles, low height and characteristic facial features. Methods: A 28 years old female patient visited by frontal area depression. The diagnosis was performed by computed tomographic study and radiographic imaging. The patient has widely opened anterior fontanelle, partial fused metopic suture, multiple wormian bone and supernumenary impacted teeth. Under the coronal incision, we exposed depressed frontal area and corrected with Medpor block carving. Results: Postoperatively, frontoparietal skull was aestheticlly improved and she was satisfied with the results. Conclusion: Authors report a case of cleiodocranial dysostosis who has been done correction of abnormal skull shape by Medpor$^{(R)}$ insertion.

  • Cerebral palsy refers to the neuromuscular deficit caused by nonprogressive defect or lesion in single or multiple locations in the immature brain resulting in Impaired motor function and sensory integrity. The pathophysiological events may occur during the prenatal intrapartum, perinatal, or early postnatal period. Cerebral palsy is the most common condition and it poses a challenge to practitioners due to the large variation in prognosis for motor function of children with this diagnosis. The objectives of this article are review to pathological and psychological factors of cerebral palsy and upper extremity function. Upper extremity and hand function are most important in activity of daily living in cerebral palsy This article hope to give the information for application in many therapists.

  • Photovoltaic and optoelectronic devices based on hybrid metal halide perovskites ($MAPbX_3$; $MA=CH_3NH_3{^+}$, $X=Cl^-$, $Br^-$, or $I^-$) are rapidly improving in power conversion efficiency. Also, during recent years, perovskite single crystals have emerged as promising materials for high-efficiency photovoltaic and optoelectronic devices because of their low defect density. Here we show that the light soaking effect of mixed halide perovskite ($MAPbBr_{3-x}I_x$) single crystals can be explained using photoluminescence, time-resolved photoluminescence, and Raman scattering measurements. Unlike Br-based single crystal, Br/I mixed single crystal show a strong light soaking effect under laser irradiation condition that was related to the existence of multiple phases.

  • The method of lower limb reconstruction surgery is selected based on a patient's underlying conditions, general conditions, and wound status, and it usually varies from direct closure to skin graft and flap coverage. Herein, we describe a patient with Duchenne muscular dystrophy who developed critical limb ischemia after femoral cannulation for extracorporeal membrane oxygenation was used during knee disarticulation, which was followed by reconstruction of the defect around the knee using a pedicled anterolateral thigh flap and skin graft.

  • In this study, we measured the PD pattern with multiple voids in PET film. The analysis of PD pattern was employed the statistical factor such like CCF(cross correlation factor), asymmetry, kurtosis and etc. The difference of PD patterns caused by arrangement of voids, even if the same size and numbers of void in PET film. Such result of experiment will be used to know the PD source in the real equipment about arrangement and numbers of the defect in insulator.

  • Stafne bone cyst (SBC) is a bone defect usually located in the posterior portion of the mandible or mandibular angle below the inferior alveolar nerve. The cases of SBC involving multiple anterior tooth apices and penetrating the mandibular bone are extremely rare. Here we present a case of an anterior-positioned SBC mimicking periapical cyst, which penetrated the mandibular bone, with a review of the differential diagnosis.
