  • Currently, Korea is achieving cultural, economic, and social growth as a member of the international community along with its social growth. In the 2000s, local communities and local governments made multidimensional efforts with historical and cultural interests. And as part of that, historical museums were built or expanded to increase the quantity in anticipation of citizens' satisfaction and attracting visitors. However, the qualitative effect of the exhibition space is not achieved. Therefore, in this study, the analysis according to the complex system theory on the interrelationship between exhibition planning, space, and spectators was carried out based on the case of domestic historical museums, and future exhibition space planning or movement lines according to the mutual relationship between the exhibition space and the spectators were conducted. The purpose of this study is to conduct research on specific visualization and data derivation regarding spatial density and spatial perception information.

  • Objective: This study aimed to investigate how the movements occurring during the follow-through phase after releasing an arrow among elite compound archers, are associated with the arrow impact points on the target. Method: Nine elite archers performed consecutive compound archery shooting under conditions identical to actual competitions using their own bows and equipment. Motion capture system and force platform were utilized to record the changes in joint positions and center of pressure, respectively. Principal component analysis was employed to identify the patterns in which multidimensional joint positions and COP changes were organized with horizontal and vertical coordinates of arrow impact points. Subsequently, correlation analysis quantified the relationship between individual variables and the coordinates of arrow impacts on the target. Results: We found a common organizational pattern in which the two axes of the impact point coordinates were grouped into the first two principal components. The movements of the upper and lower limbs following release exhibited opposite patterns in the anterior-posterior axis, with significant correlations observed between the arrow impact points of the horizontal axis and the left shoulder, right elbow, left hip, and both knees. Additionally, the lateral movements induced by the reaction force upon arrow release showed significant associations with the vertical coordinates of the impact points. Particularly, the correlations between the movements of the left shoulder and elbow, as well as the bilateral hip and right knee, were consistently observed among all participants. Conclusion: These findings implied that the post-release movements could significantly influence the trajectory and impact points of the arrows in compound archery. We suggest that a consistent and controlled movement during the follow-through phase may be more beneficial for optimizing shooting accuracy and precision rather than minimizing movements.

  • As modern technology advances and the proliferation of the internet continues, cyber threats are also on the rise. To effectively counter these threats, the importance of utilizing Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) is becoming increasingly prominent. CTI provides information on new threats based on data from past cyber incidents, but the complexity of data and changing attack patterns present significant analytical challenges. To address these issues, this study aims to utilize graph data that can comprehensively represent multidimensional relationships. Specifically, the study constructs a heterogeneous graph based on malware data, and uses the metapath2vec node embedding technique to more effectively identify cyber attack groups. By analyzing the impact of incorporating topology information into traditional malware data, this research suggests new practical applications in the field of cyber security and contributes to overcoming the limitations of CTI analysis.

  • It constitutes a very important preliminary step to analyze how city image is assessed in order to determine the direction towards a desirable city image in planning on an urban landscape for future city image. This study aims to quantify the recognition and evaluation of a city image on the part of citizens, using multidimensional scaling and correspondence analysis. Furthermore, this study hopes to contribute to the quantified policy-making for improving city image by understanding how professionals and civil servants in the related field tend to recognize such image. The results from the study are as follow: 1. The image of Daejon City tends to be assessed strongly in the light of its history, dynamics, and size. While the City is recognized as new and changing in general, the civil servants consider the city as modest, and the professionals as mediocre. Therefore, the City should strive to conceive its own unique identity, which would lessen the current image of modest and mediocre. 2. Gap river, Dunsan New Town, and the Daeduk Reseach Complex turn out to be the symbolic representative venues of Daejon City, inspiring the city’s image. In contrast, Yoosung Springs, the original town, and the Expo Park do not fit the image of the City. The need to renovate these places presents itself. 3. As for the questions using “like” and “not-like”, citizens and professionals show the tendency of not liking the city’s image, whereas civil servants like it. It follows that the City needs to highlight its “modern and high-technological” image, illuminated by Dunsan New Town and Daeduk Reseach Complex. 4. An image positioning drawn from a correspondence analysis shows that the City of Daejeon can be classified as an administrative and horizontal city. As opposed to the prior simplistic analyses of city image, this study attempts to diagnose it accurately, so as to help with the gearing towards city images in the future.

  • A vast amount of traffic data is produced every day from detection devices but this data includes a considerable amount of errors and missing values. Moreover, this information is periodically deleted before it could be used as important analysis information. Therefore, this paper discusses the implementation of an integrated traffic history database system that continuously stores the traffic data as a multidimensional model and increases the validity and completeness of the data via a flow of processing steps, and provides a what-if analysis function. The implemented system provides various techniques to correct errors and missing data patterns, and a what-if analysis function that enables the analysis of results under various conditions by allowing the flexible definition of various process related environment variables and combinations of the processing flows. Such what-if analysis functions dramatically increase the usability of traffic data but are not provided by other traffic data systems. Experimantal results for cleaning the traffic history data showed that it provides superior performance in terms of validity and completeness.

  • The aim of this study is to provide fundamental references for the establishment of environmental policies by using and evaluating EPI (Environmental Performance Index). Data of EPI for this study come from the 2010 World Economic Forum. By using these variables, we have comparison analysis of EPI of 163 countries. Next, the object of similarity analysis using MDS is the OECD countries and shown on PREMAP, drawing the position of each nation in environmental category and environmental policy index. The result of this study shows that there are differences in environmental policy index according to each nation's income and furthermore, similarity analysis makes it possible to locate environmental policy index of each nation in an awareness, which would help to set directions of policies concerning environment through the comparison with other advanced countries. But it could be more worth investigating time-series analysis for the change of environment-related variables because EPI has been just four times published since its first announcement in 2002. Despite, such limits would be overcome through continuous data collected over time.

  • This study was intended for Fagus engleriana stand in Is. Ulleung where the disturbance of vegetation has been caused by the exploitation and the increase of tourists. For the effective conservation and management on this issue, this study was conducted provide basic data. The sixteen study sites ($20{\times}20m$) were installed in the dominant Fagus engleriana stand and the base environment and vegetation were investigated. The Fagus engleriana stand was classified into two groups, The Fagus engleriana stand was classified into two groups, community A is Fagus engleriana-Sorbus amurensis and community B is Fagus engleriana-Acer pictum subsp. Mono by cluster analysis and community A were nothing signigicant by indicator species analysis. Community B were Eight species (Tsuga sieboldii, Camellia japonica, Dystaenia takesimana ect.) significant by indicator species analysis. The diameter class of 16cm to 25cm was 53.7% in population structure of Fagus engleriana, which was the highest and showed inverse J-distribution. Species diversity index (H') of investigated woody layer group ranged from 0.99 to 2.05 and that of under layer group ranged from 1.75~2.59. According to Non-metric Multidimensional Scaling (NMS) analysis, the woody layer was divided into community A developed in the region having relatively high sand content at high altitudes and community B formed at the place having relatively high clay content at low altitudes. Then this classification was significant through Multi-Response Permutation Procedures (MRPP) analysis. The distribution of understory vegetation through Detrended Correspondence Analysis (DCA) was induced by the silt content and cover degree of vegetation layer.
