Purpose: This study examined the mediating and moderating effects of multicultural efficacy in the relationship between cultural empathy and cultural competence in child care teachers. Methods: A cross-sectional descriptive survey design was used. The participants were 277 child care teachers at private and public daycare centers in G and S districts of Seoul. The survey instruments included a cultural empathy questionnaire, a multicultural efficacy scale, and a cultural competence scale. Data were analyzed using the SPSS and AMOS programs. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation, and mediating and moderating effect analyses were performed. Bootstrapping was implemented to verify the mediating effect of the model developed herein. Results: Positive correlations among cultural empathy, multicultural efficacy, and cultural competence were noted. Multicultural efficacy showed a significant mediating effect on the relationships between cultural empathy and cultural competence. However, there was no moderating effect. Conclusion: In order to enhance the cultural competence of child care teachers, it is necessary to develop a strategy that can promote their cultural empathy and multicultural efficacy. Furthermore, these results will ultimately enhance the role of child care teachers, thus contributing to the normal growth and development of multicultural children.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness of dental hygienists in public health center towards multicultural family and educational needs to provide information on community oral health programs. Methods : The subjects were 74 recruited from 126 dental hygienists in 14 public dental clinics in Jeonbuk Province. A self-reported questionnaire was filled out by 64 dental hygienists in charge of dental health care. Data were anlatzed by the statistical package SPSS WIN 12.0. Results : The characteristics of the subjects had no impact on their positive multicultural awareness, and there existed differences by age, rank and period of services in the channel of information acquisition. They got 3.5 out of five in multicultural awareness showing a positive way. The types of medical services for multicultural family revealed that they provided oral health education, dental checkup services and simple treatment covered by health insurance. Health insurance accounted for 15.4 percent of dental services. The obstacles to dental services in multicultural family were communication problems, poor concern for oral health and cultural gaps. They got 3.86 out of five points in educational needs for multicultural family who need the dental education most. The multicultural family showed the higher score in every question. Conclusions : Public health center dental clinics should help dental hygienists to acquire information on multicultural family. Public health center should provide the easy access way of dental health checkup for the multicultural family.

국내 다문화현상이 가속화되고 있음에도 국내 공공도서관은 다문화서비스 경험이 최근 5년 내외로, 대부분의 도서관이 단편적인 프로그램 위주로 운영하고 있으며, 장기적인 계획과 방향성, 전문 인력 등이 부족한 상황이다. 이에 국외 다문화서비스 성공사례와 국내 현황조사 및 설문조사를 통하여 공공도서관들이 체계적인 다문화서비스를 준비하는데 활용할 수 있는 다문화서비스 모형을 개발하였다. 이를 위하여 1, 2차 사전조사(평균, 표준편차)와 의견조사를 통하여 다문화서비스 요소안을 확정하고, 본 조사를 실시하여 핵심요소를 선정하여 모형을 개발하였다. 요소들의 특성 분석을 위하여 T-검증과 분산분석을 사용하였다. 원활한 다문화서비스의 운영을 위해서는 도서관을 둘러싼 사회 교육기관, 타 도서관들과의 관계, 국제적인 네트워크를 통한 상호협조가 필요하며, 이를 반영하여 다문화서비스 운영시스템을 도식화하였다.

본 연구에서는 청소년의 다문화경험, 다문화수용성, 문화적 공감과 공감능력의 관계를 살펴보고, 다문화경험이 어떤 경로를 통해 공감능력에 영향을 미치는지 밝힘과 동시에 다문화수용성 및 문화적공감이 간접효과를 가지는지를 파악하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 선행연구를 바탕으로 연구모형을 설정하고, 청소년 266명을 대상으로 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과, 주요 변수들 간에는 서로 정적 상관관계를 가지고 있었으며, 청소년의 다문화경험은 다문화수용성과 문화적 공감을 매개하는 경로를 통하여 공감능력에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 문화수용성 및 문화적 공감을 향상할 수 있는 프로그램을 개발하고, 그 제공방식에 있어서도 차별성을 두고, 지속적이고 단계적으로 실시될 필요가 있음을 제언하였다.

The following study to enhance children's creativity in the context of diverse cultures and ethnic groups, and utilizes various programs from different countries aimed at 5 year old children with the Nuri framework. The study also seeks to measure pre and post play behaviors, creativity levels, and thinking capabilities of the children, then compare these results with those from a control group. Analysis of the results indicates that children who experienced programs from various countries through a multicultural approach had much higher levels of fluency, adaptability, originality, and imaginative capabilities than children who had not experienced such programs. Among the children's creative play behaviors, intrinsic motive-magination, sensitivity-curiosity, longetivity-concentration, various forms of interest-challenge, and leadership-independence were all found to be significantly higher.

최근 한국사회에 외국인근로자, 결혼이주여성, 유학생 등 이주민의 수가 증가하면서 문헌정보학 분야는 새로운 도전에 직면하고 있다. 이주민의 증가는 문헌정보전문직으로 하여금 다양한 문화적 배경을 가진 이주민에게 적절하며 효과적인 서비스를 제공하기 위한 새로운 역량을 개발할 것을 요구한다. 이에, 이 연구에서는 다문화시대, 사서에게 요구되는 역량을 문화적 역량이라는 관점에서 고찰해 보았다. 구체적으로 다문화서비스 담당 사서에게 요구되는 문화적 역량이란 무엇이며, 그 구성요소는 무엇인지 등 사서의 문화적 역량에 대한 내용 체계를 검토하였다. 이를 위해 문헌연구와 다문화서비스를 이행하고 있는 사서, 다문화전문가와의 인터뷰를 통해 관련 데이터를 확보하였다. 연구결과, 사서에게 필요한 문화적 역량은 다문화에 대한 태도, 다문화에 대한 지식, 다문화에 대한 기술이라는 3가지로 구분되었으며, 그 세부적 요소로서 다문화 태도, 다문화구성원에 대한 지식, 다문화서비스에 대한 지식, 장서 서비스 프로그램 개발, 서비스전달, 언어의 다양성, 교육 및 인력개발 부문이 제시되었다.

본 연구는 다문화가정 아동의 부모-자녀 관계의 질과 학교적응을 이해하기 위해 일반가정 아동과의 차이를 비교하고, 부모-자녀관계의 질이 학교적응에 영향을 미치는지를 파악하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 경기도 내에 초등학교에 재학 중이면서 기본적인 의사소통이 가능한 5-6학년 다문화가정 학생과 일반학생을 대상으로 설문을 실시하였다. 연구 결과 다문화가정 학생의 집단이 다른 집단에 비해 아버지-자녀 관계의 질이 낮은 것으로 분석되었다. 이에 다문화교육에서 아버지의 역할 등 다문화가정 학생의 아버지에 대한 연구가 이루어져야 할 것이다. 또한 부모-자녀의 관계의 질이 다문화가정 학생의 학교적응에 유의하게 영향을 미친 것으로 보아 다문화가정 학생의 부모를 대상으로 학생 교육에 있어 실질적으로 도움을 줄 수 있는 다양한 교육프로그램이 제공된다면 다문화가정 학생들의 학교적응력이 더욱 향상될 것으로 판단된다.

결혼이주여성과 다문화가정 자녀를 비롯한 다문화인구는 최근 공공도서관 서비스의 중요한 고객이 되고 있다. 한국사회의 급속한 다민족 다문화사회화에 따라 최근 전국의 많은 공공도서관이 다양한 다문화프로그램을 실시하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 양적 측면의 확대와는 별도로 실제 공공도서관의 다문화프로그램의 효용성에 대한 검증은 제대로 이루어지지 않은 것이 사실이다. 이 글에서는 부산지역의 공공도서관을 대상으로 다문화서비스의 현황을 조사하고, 실제 다문화서비스를 담당하고 있는 사서들의 인식을 통하여 다문화서비스의 실질적 문제점이 무엇이며, 다문화서비스 활성화를 위하여 개선되어야 할 점은 무엇인지 조사해 보았다.

In this paper, the Software Education program for elementary school students in Multicultural families developed so that Multicultural students can adapt to national, school, peer, and teacher. The effects of Resilience, Communication skills and Interpersonal Relationshiop were investigated. The developed Software education program was designed in such a way that the target students became more intimate with each other and adapted to Korean culture, peers, and teachers through the analysis of the research subjects. Resilience test showed statistically significant difference in peer relationship and support, family support and interaction, teacher's interest and support, self - identity, and cultural acceptance. Communication ability test showed statistically significant differences in interpretation ability, self presentation ability, goal setting ability, and message conversion ability. The interpersonal Relationship test showed statistically significant differences in people's orientation toward people, facing people, and away from people. The results of this study indicate that the software education program for elementary school students in multicultural families has effects on adaptive flexibility, communication ability, and interpersonal ability. In the future, There is a need for continuous research with development and effectiveness of various software education programs for Multicultural students.

목적: 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 다문화 인식, 문화적 역량, 그리고 다문화 수용성의 정도와 상관관계를 알아보고, 다문화 수용성에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위해 실시되었다. 방법: 본 연구는 SPSS 25.0 프로그램을 통해 분석하였다. 다문화 인식, 문화적 역량, 다문화 수용성의 상관관계는 Pearson's correlation coefficients로, 다문화 수용성에 영향요인인 다중회귀분석(Multiple Regression)을 사용하여 분석하였다. 결과: 간호대학생들의 다문화 수용성은 다문화 인식과 문화적 역량에 유의한 양의 상관관계(r=.645, p<.001; r=.556, p<.001)가 있었고, 회귀분석 결과 간호대학생의 다문화 수용성에 영향을 미치는 요인은 다문화 인식(${\beta}=0.479$, p<.001)과 문화적 역량(${\beta}=0.299$, p<.001)임을 확인하였다 결론: 본 연구결과를 토대로 간호대학생들은 다문화 사회에서 다문화 수용성을 높이기 위한 방안으로 문화적 역량을 키워야 함을 시사한다. 또한 다문화교육 프로그램의 개발 및 시행, 그 내용을 구성하는데 있어 다문화 인식의 고취와 문화적 역량을 높이는 콘텐츠를 개발하고 정책적인 뒷받침이 있어야 할 것이다.
