Low Power Design Using the Extraction of kernels (커널 추출을 이용한 저전력설계)

  • In this paper, we propose a new method for power estimation in nodes of multi-level combinational circuits and describe its application to the extraction of common expressions for low power design. It is assumed that each node is implemented as a complex gate and the capacitance and the switching activity of the nodes are considered in the power estimation. Extracting common expressions which is accomplished mostly by the extraction of kernels, can be transformed to the problem of rectangle covering. We describe how the newly proposed estimation method can be applied to the rectangle covering problem and show the experimental results with comparisons to the results of SIS-1.2.

  • In this paper, we propose more effective method of label allocation on Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS) which is IP over ATM integrated model. We research the problems, one is using downstream label allocation method case, the other is using both downstream and upstream label allocation method. Easily we can solve this problem through the downstream-on-demand label allocation method with RSVP(Resource ReSerVation Protocol). In experiment we can find 1.5~28% error which will be fixed by using downstream-on-demand label allocation method.

  • This study is to increase capability of the DC/DC converter (for PCS) in miniaturizing, stabilizing by locating an inductor with the structure of multi layer on to the glass/ceramic circuit board. When the DC/DC converter is stimulated. the characteristic operation of PWM switching circuit, losses. output power to input power, stability, efficiency and interfaces inside of control circuit and convener circuit are to be distinguished. The process would make it able to develop the techniques of designing and manufacturing of the converter of next generation.

  • 전광 네트워크(All-optical Network)에서 중요한 기능을 담당하는 전광 교환기는 전광 교환 소자 (All-optical Switching Element)로 이루어져 있는데, 각 교환 소자들은 스위칭 모듈(SM), 라우팅 제어 처리기(RCP), 헤더 처리 모듈(HPM), 그리고 입/출력 인터페이스 모듈(IIM, OIM)로 이루어져 있다. 스위칭 시스템 내에 도착하는 패킷은 원하는 스위치의 출력단에 도착하기 전에 많은 교환 소자(SE)들을 지나가게 되는데, 이 때 수많은 패킷들이 서로 충돌하게 되며, 이 과정에서 패킷이 손실된다.   • Since telecommunication operators have commercialized VoIP services recently, it is important to provide quality of the call across networks. It is demanded that the same quality as PSTN provides should be supported in VoIP networks too. Several QoS solutions have been developed and proposed for VoIP service in many organizations for this purpose. In this paper, we explain several QoS Solutions for IP networks, and present the QoS architecture for Next Generation VoIP Networks, which is proposed by Multi-service Switching Forum.(omitted)

  • The TDX-10 Time Switch architecture has modularity, high reliability and considerable large switch fabric having separated and both-way 1K time slot interchange switching circuit elements. In this paper, we present key functions, architecture, features and traffic characteristic of TDX-10 Time Switch. And we also describe some basic implementation technologies such as Frame Base Read-Write Separation Method, Multi-Write Method and Read-Write Separation Technique with Dual-port Memory.

  • A study to analyze and solve problems of multi wire installation duct experiment has presented in this paper. We have taken Taguchi's parameter design approach, specifically orthogonal array, and determined the optimal levels of the selected variables through analysis of the experimental results using S/N ratio.

  • 본 논문에서는 먼저 Forwarding 방식의 라우팅 프로토콜인 MPLS(Multi-Protocol Label Switching)와 네트웍에서의 Traffic Engineering(TE)에 대한 개괄적인 설명과 함께, MPLS 네트웍 내에서의 트래픽 엔지니어링에 대해 기술한다. 그리고 MPLS 도메인 양 끝단에서 단일 경로의 패킷에 대한 MPLS 헤더의 레이블 번호를 이용한 동일한 패킷인지에 대한 확인 방안과 MPLS 도메인 내에서 Loss Detection 메커니즘을 이용한 효율적인 트래픽 엔지니어링방안을 제안한다. 향후 본 연구 방안을 적용하게 되면, 차등 서비스(Differentiated Services, Diffserv)를 제공하는 네트웍 환경의 핵심 망과 Mobile IP 기반의 무선 네트웍 환경에서 유선 네트웍의 Quality of Service(QoS)를 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

  • This paper describes the problems of the existing two multi-layer routing policies(policy 1 and policy 2) and suggests new multi-layer routing policy(policy 3) which is established the packet LSP by inquiry on packet LSP lambda routing tables for GMPLS based optical If Network. All policies of multi-layer routing schemes first try to allocate a newly requested electrical path to an existing optical path that directly connects the source and destination nodes. U such a path is not available, all policies employ different procedures. Policy 1 tries to find available existing optical paths with two or more hops that connect the source and destination nodes and policy 2 tries to establish a new one-hop optical path between source and destination nodes. Policy 3 tries to establish a new one-hop optical path by inquiry on information of the packet LSP lambda routing tables between source and destination nodes. The performances of the three multi-routing policies are evaluated by computer simulation. Simulation results show that policy 3 is the excellent of routing time and traffic acceptance capabilities compare to existing two polices if p is large, where p is the number of packet-switching-capable ports p.

Determination of Additives Content in Aviation Turbine Fuel Using Multi-dimensional GC-MS (Multi-dimensional GC-MS를 이용한 항공터빈유의 첨가제 분석)

  • To improve fuel performance and specific characteristics of long storage and moving through fuel systems additives should be added in kerosene type aviation turbine fuel (AVTUR) such as antioxidant, fuel system icing inhibitor (FSII), electric conductivity improvers and so on. The dosage of additives has to be analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively due to inspect the quality of abnormal fuel and distinguish other petroleum products. Multi-dimensional GC-MS (MDGC-MS) with Deans switching technique are applied the determination of antioxidant and FSII, which are added with AVTUR containing complex mixture of hydrocarbons. Antioxidant and FSII in the range of 2.5-20 mg/L was quantitatively and qualitatively analyzed using MDGC-MS and the detection limit was about twice as low as that of the 1-dimensional GC-MS results. The method in this study has been higher peak resolution compared with GC-MS and could be simultaneously analyzed different two additives without sample pre-treatment.
