This paper proposes an efficient bi-directional DC/DC converter topology using multi-phase interleaved method for power storage system. The proposed converter topology is used for a power storage system using a vanadium redox flow battery(VRFB) and is configured to enable bidirectional power flow for charging and discharging of VRFB. Proposed DC/DC converter of the 4 leg method is reduced to 1/4 times the rating of the reactor and the power semiconductor device so can be reduce the system size. Also, proposed topology is obtained the effect of four times the switching frequency as compared to the conventional converter in each leg with a 90 degree phase shift 4 leg method. This can suppress the reduction of the life of the secondary battery because it is possible to reduce the current ripple in accordance with the charging and discharging of VRFB and may increase the efficiency of the entire system. In this paper, it proposed bidirectional high-efficiency DC/DC converter topology Using multi-phase interleaved method and proved the validity through simulations and experiments.

In this paper, we investigate the performance of ARQ-aided Time Switched Transmit Diversity (ARQ-TSTD) applying the multi-level control signaling in the WCDMA LCR-TDD system. Proposed ARQ-TSTD system applies the multi-level control signaling scheme in which the receiver sends the response signal (ACK or NACK signal) to the transmitter and defines NACK2 signal for multi-level control. Transmitter utilize the NACK2 control signal to the postponement of transmission and multi-user scheduling scheme proposed by this paper. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed postponement of transmission and multi-user scheduling scheme yield about 1.3dB, 1.4dB performance gain respectively, compared with the conventional ARQ-TSTD with antenna switching scheme in tenn of the frame error rate (FER) for mobile speed of 3km/h and FER value of 10%. In addition, 14% and 11.5% of throughput gain respectively is shown when Eb/N0=-3dB.

A Variable Structure Model Reference Adaptive Controller (VS-MRAC) using state Variables is proposed for single input multi output systems. . The structure of the switching functions is designed based on stability requirements, and global exponential stability is proved. Transient behavior is analyzed using sliding mode control and shows perfect model following at a finite time. The effect of input disturbances on stability and transients is investigated and shows preference to the conventional MRAC schemes with integral adaptation law. Sliding surfaces are independent of system parameters and therefore VS-MRAC is insensitive to system parameter variations. Simulation is presented to clear the theoretical results.

MSF(MultiService Switching Forum) 개념이 도입된 개방형 시스템 구조를 적용한 고성능 스위칭 시스템 개발이 필요하며, Media Gateway System은 ATM망에서 중저속의 Non-ATM 인터페이스를 수용하는 ATM access multiplexer/concentrator로서 ATM 물리계층 기능, ATM 계층 기능, 회선대행 기능, AAL2 trunking 기능, N-ISDN 연동 기능 및 FR/ATM 연동기능을 제공한다. 본 논문에서는 Media Gateway System에 FR/ATM 연동 기능을 구현하기 위하여 적용할 연동 규격을 살펴보고 FR/ATM 연동시스템 구조를 제안하였다.

Multi-protocol Label Switching is a comparatively new technology based on the association of labels with routes and the use of labels to forward packets. MPLS can be used for transport of any level 3 protocol over any level 2 technology. Differentiated Services define a model for implementing scalable differentiation of QoS in the Internet. The inherent characteristics of MPLS make it a very good candidate for providing Differentiated Services. In this paper we describe various approaches which can be used to support differentiated services in MPLS environments.

1968년 ARPA 네트워크의 출현 이후 음성 서비스 위주의 네트워크와 데이터 서비스 위주의 네트워크는 서로의 서비스를 수용하기 위해 노력해왔다. 음성 기반의 네트워크에서 데이터를 수용하기 위한 노력은 ‘꿈의 망’으로 그친 ISDN(Integrated Services Digital Network)으로 나타났고, 데이터 기반의 네트워크에서 음성을 수용하기 위한 노력은 보편적인 비연결형 데이터 서비스와는 대비되는 B-ISDN(Broadband-ISDN)으로 나타났다. 이후 다시 B-ISDN은 IP 서비스의 수용을 위해 ATM 교환기를 MPLS(Multi Protocol Label Switching) 교환기로 대치하여 보완하고 있지만, VoIP(Voice over IP)등 음성서비스의 제공에는 아직 완전한 해법이 제시되지 못하고 있다.(중략)

DWDM(Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) 기반의 광 네트워크가 범 세계적인 차세대 광 인터넷(NGOI: Next Generation Optical Internet) 백본망의 대안으로 인식되고 있으나, 기존의 전기적인 오버헤드 비트를 이용한 전송 관리 정보의 사용이 더 이상 유효하지 않아 장애 관리에 많은 문제점을 드러내고 있다. 본 논문에서는 NGOI 백본망의 링크 관리를 위해 광 성능 모니터링 시스템 및. GMPLS(Generalized Multi-Protocol Label Switching)의 링크 관리 프로토콜(LMP: Link Management Protocol)을 활용한 관리 모델을 제시한다.

In this paper, we discuss a study on Advanced TCA(ATCA) based 40 Gbps level Optical transport platform having 120 Gbps(12, 10 Gbps modules) switching capacity as an OTP based large capacity multi service technology. The ATCA-based OTP(Optical Transport Platform) is composed of OTH(Optical Transport Hierarchy) 10 or 40 Gbps client signal interface module, OTH 10 Gbps transport module, high-rate OTH unit switch, system processor, and can be installed in ATCA platform.

In this paper, we put forth a procedure that target low power logic synthesis based on XOR representation of Boolean functions, and the results of synthesis procedure are a multi-level XOR form with minimum switching activity. Specialty, this paper show a method to extract the common cubes or kernels by Boolean matrix and rectangle covering, and to estimate the power consumption in terms of the extracted common sub-functions.
