익형 형상 설계를 위한 실수기반 적응영역 다목적 유전자 알고리즘 연구 (A Study on Real-Coded Adaptive Range Multi-Objective Genetic Algorithm for Airfoil Shape Design)

  • 본 연구에서 익형 형상 설계를 위해 전역적 다목적 최적화 기법인 적응영역 다목적 유전자 알고리즘 코드를 개발하였다. 저마하수에서 최대 양력과 순항조건에서 최대 양항비를 동시에 만족시키기 위해 목적함수로 양력계수와 양항비를 선정하였으며, 익형 형상 설계를 위해 PARSEC 기법을 이용하였다. 그 결과 참조 익형 대비 나은 공력 특성을 나타내는 2개의 익형이 선택되었으며 최대 양력과 양항비는 첫 번째 익형에 대해 약 4.89%, 5.38% 증가하였으며, 두 번째 익형에 대해 약 7.13%, 4.33% 증가하였다.

  • 지구 주변에는 플라즈마로 가득 차 있고 그것을 매질로 하는 다양한 플라즈마 파동이 존재한다. 우주공간 플라즈마는 여러 종류의 이온과 전자로 구성되어 있고 특히 이온들은 파동의 전파에 많은 영향을 미친다. 다중 이온 플라즈마에서 파동분산 방정식의 해를 구하는 것은 상당히 복잡하다. 따라서, 임의의 자기장, 밀도를 고려하여 우주공간에서 다중 이온 플라즈마에서 파동의 분산관계를 쉽게 알 수 있는 계산모델을 개발하였다. 이 모델로부터 IGRF(International Geomagnetic Reference Field)에서 임의 지점을 지나는 자력선과 관측된 밀도 함수로부터 각 위도별로 가능한 파동들의 성질을 조사하여 위성의 초기 관측 자료 분석에 응용하였다. 예를 들어 POLAR 위성의 관측값 중에서 자기 적도 근처에서 발생되어 자력선을 따라 전파하는 특정한 범위의 주파수 경우 파동의 편극 상태가 변한 위치, 전파경로 등을 본 모델을 이용하여 예측할 수 있었다.

습식 다회선 초음파유량계의 특성평가 연구 (A Study on Performance Characteristics of Wetted-type Multi Path Ultrasonic Flowmeter)

  • An experimental investigation has been carried out in order to evaluate characteristics of wetted-type multi-path ultrasonic flowmeters. The multi-path ultrasonic flowmeters were installed at various entrance and exit locations for several cases of pipe fitting(straight, $90^{\circ}$ double elbow) and valve(gate valve, butterfly valve). We measured the flow-rate at each location. The measurement data of test flowmeter were compared with the measured data of reference flowmeter. The uncertainties of reference flowmeter and test flowmeter are 0.3 %, 0.4 %, respectively. The results demonstrate the effects of flowmeter location as well as the measurement errors in flow rate. The distance between the flow disturbance factor and a flowmeter was an important element of the test.

Correction of Time and Coordinate Systems for Interoperability of Multi-GNSS

  • GNSS receivers capable of tracking multiple Global Navigation Systems (GNSSs) simultaneously are widely used. In order to estimate accurate user position and velocity, it is necessary to consider the key elements that contribute to the interoperability of the different GNSSs. Typical examples are the time system and the coordinate system. Each GNSS is operated based on its own reference time system depending on when the system was developed and whether the leap seconds are applied. In addition, each GNSS is designed based on its own coordinate system based on earth model constant values. This paper addresses the interoperability issues from the viewpoint of Single Point Positioning (SPP) users utilizing multiple GNSS signals from GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo. Since the broadcast ephemerides of each GNSS are based on their own time and coordinate systems, the time and the coordinate systems should be unified for any user algorithm. For this purpose, this paper proposes a method of converting each GNSS coordinate system into the reference coordinate system through Helmert transformation. The error of the broadcast ephemerides was calculated with the precise ephemerides provided by the International GNSS Service (IGS). The effectiveness of the proposed multi-GNSS correction and transformation method is verified using the Multi-GNSS Experiment (MGEX) station data.

기준국 수에 따른 다중 위성항법 광역보정시스템의 전리층 지연 추정 성능 분석 (Performance Analysis of Ionospheric Delay Estimation for Multi-Constellation WA-DGNSS According to the Number of Reference Stations)

  • 광역보정시스템(WA-DGNSS; wide area differential GNSS)의 정확성을 향상시키기 위해서는 GPS 오차 요인 중 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 전리층 지연 오차에 대한 추정 성능이 향상되어야 한다. 본 논문에서는 전리층 지연 추정 성능 향상을 위해 미국의 GPS, 러시아의 GLONASS, 유럽의 Galileo와 같은 각 국의 다양한 위성항법시스템을 통합하여 광역보정시스템 알고리즘에 적용해보았다. 그리고 기준국 수를 증가시키면서 한반도 지역의 전리층 지연 추정 성능을 시뮬레이션을 통해 분석해보았다. 그 결과 추정에 사용한 측정치의 수가 비슷함에도 불구하고 기준국 수를 증가시키기보다는 다중 위성항법을 사용하는 것이 전리층 지연 추정 성능 향상에 더 효과적임을 확인하였다. 본 논문의 결과는 단일 주파수 SBAS (satellite based augmentation system) 사용자의 전리층 지연 추정 성능을 향상시키기 위한 자료로 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

시설내의 기준작물 증발산량 산정모형의 개발 (A Model for Estimating Reference Crop Evapotranspiration in the Greenhouse)

  • In order to provide basic information for the estimation of reference crop evapotranspiration in the greenhouse on experiment was performed. Daily evapotranspiration of the reference crop wear measured using lysimeters. kentucky Blue Grass was used as a reference crop. Climatic elements I the greenhouse such as air temperature relative humidity and radiation were measured. The influence of each climatic element on the evapotranspiration were analyzed. A multi-regression model for the estimation of reference crop evapotranspiration in the greenhouse was developed and tested simulated evapotranspiration by the model were in good agreement with measured evapotransiration.

  • This study focused on the checking of design guideline using concept of reference plane as a promoting tool in order to apply to practical affair in relation to material standardization in housing build. For this purpose, we above all defined the role of reference plane. After establishing structural type can correspond to planning module of building components and coordination condition, we did exemplicated the sub-detail of building components which be to detach according to design method using the concept of reference plane that be complexed with spacial territory and replace cycle of building component or material.

H.264 부호화를 위한 고속 다중 참조 화면 결정 기법 (Fast Multiple Reference Frame Selection for H.264 Encoding)

  • In the new video coding standard H.264/AVC, motion estimation (ME) is allowed to search multiple reference frames for improve the rate-distortion performance. The complexity of multi-frame motion estimation increases linearly with the number of used reference frame. However, the distortion gain given by each reference frame varies with the video sequence, and it is not efficient to search through all the candidate frames. In this paper, we propose a fast mult-frame selection method using all zero coefficient block (AZCB) prediction and sum of difference (SAD) of neighbor block. Simulation results show that the speed of the proposed algorithm is up to two times faster than exhaustive search of multiple reference frames with similar quality and bit-rate.

Multi-GNSS Kinematic Precise Point Positioning: Some Results in South Korea

  • Precise Point Positioning (PPP) method is based on dual-frequency data of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). The recent multi-constellations GNSS (multi-GNSS) enable us to bring great opportunities for enhanced precise positioning, navigation, and timing. In the paper, the multi-GNSS PPP with a combination of four systems (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou) is analyzed to evaluate the improvement on positioning accuracy and convergence time. GNSS observations obtained from DAEJ reference station in South Korea are processed with both the multi-GNSS PPP and the GPS-only PPP. The performance of multi-GNSS PPP is not dramatically improved when compared to that of GPS only PPP. Its performance could be affected by the orbit errors of BeiDou geostationary satellites. However, multi-GNSS PPP can significantly improve the convergence speed of GPS-only PPP in terms of position accuracy.

Multi-Hop Clock Synchronization Based on Robust Reference Node Selection for Ship Ad-Hoc Network

  • Ship ad-hoc network (SANET) extends the coverage of the maritime communication among ships with the reduced cost. To fulfill the growing demands of real-time services, the SANET requires an efficient clock time synchronization algorithm which has not been carefully investigated under the ad-hoc maritime environment. This is mainly because the conventional algorithms only suggest to decrease the beacon collision probability that diminishes the clock drift among the units. However, the SANET is a very large-scale network in terms of geographic scope, e.g., with 100 km coverage. The key factor to affect the synchronization performance is the signal propagation delay, which has not being carefully considered in the existing algorithms. Therefore, it requires a robust multi-hop synchronization algorithm to support the communication among hundreds of the ships under the maritime environment. The proposed algorithm has to face and overcome several challenges, i.e., physical clock, e.g., coordinated universal time (UTC)/global positioning system (GPS) unavailable due to the atrocious weather, network link stability, and large propagation delay in the SANET. In this paper, we propose a logical clock synchronization algorithm with multi-hop function for the SANET, namely multi-hop clock synchronization for SANET (MCSS). It works in an ad-hoc manner in case of no UTC/GPS being available, and the multi-hop function makes sure the link stability of the network. For the proposed MCSS, the synchronization time reference nodes (STRNs) are efficiently selected by considering the propagation delay, and the beacon collision can be decreased by the combination of adaptive timing synchronization procedure (ATSP) with the proposed STRN selection procedure. Based on the simulation results, we finalize the multi-hop frame structure of the SANET by considering the clock synchronization, where the physical layer parameters are contrived to meet the requirements of target applications.
