공동주택의 에너지 자립을 위한 핵심요소기술의 에너지 성능평가 (Energy Performance Evaluation of Zero Energy Technologies for Zero Energy Multi-House)

  • Zero Energy Multi-House(ZeMH) signifies a residential building which can be self sufficient with just new and renewable energy resources without the aid of any existing fossil fuel. For success of ZeMH, various innovative energy technologies Including passive and active systems should be well integrated with a systematic design approach. The first step for ZeMH is definitely to minimize the conventional heating and cooling loads over 50% with major energy conservation measure and passive solar features which are mainly related to building design components such as super-insulation, super window, including infiltration and ventilation issues. The purpose of this study is to analyze the thermal effect of various building design components in the early design of ZeMH. The process of the study is presented in the following. 1) selection reference model for simulation 2) verification of reference model with computer simulation program(ESP-r 9.0). 3) analysis of effect according to insulation-thickness, kinds of windows, rate of infiltration. and The simulation results indicate that almost 50% savings of conventional heating load in multi-house can be achieved with the optimum design of building components such as super insulation, super window, infiltration, ventilation.

  • Recent trends in the flexible manufacturing systems are morphing cell control for the shop-wide production operation system and providing the integrated operation and execution system together with vendor-specific FMC/FMS platform. In these requirements, the shop-floor level operation system plays a role of coordinating the control activity of each cell, and has to provide flexibility for the complexity of mixed operations of various cells. This paper suggests a system architecture for the mixed environments of multi-cells and job shop, its corresponding enabling technologies based on comparative studies with other related studies and commercialized systems. This approach includes a process definition model considering the integration with upper BOM-BOP and external service modules, and reconfigurable device-level interface which provides dynamic interconnections with machine tools and cell controllers. The function modules and their implementation results are also described to provide the feasibility of the proposed approaches as the flexible shop-floor operation system for the multi-cell environments.

  • 정보추천 서비스를 위한 선호도는 상황에 따라 달라질 수 있으므로, 정보추천 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 먼저 사용자의 컨덱스트 정보를 알아야 한다. 본 논문은 모바일 환경에서 다수 사용자의 선호도를 고려한 추천 시스템을 제안하며, 음식점 추천에 이를 적용하고자 한다. 모바일 환경에서 개별 사용자의 선호도를 모델링하기 위해 베이지안 네트워크를 사용하였으며, 음식점 추천은 많은 경우 개별 사용자가 아닌 다수 사용자의 선호도를 고려해야 하므로, 본 논문에서는 개별 사용자의 선호도를 바탕으로 다수의 선호도를 획득하기 위해 다기준 의사결정방법인 AHP를 이용하였다. 실험을 위해서 10가지 서로 다른 상황에서 추천을 수행하였으며, 마지막으로 SUS 사용성 평가를 통해 제안하는 시스템의 사용성이 높게 평가되었음을 확인하였다.

  • LTE-Advanced is the evolved version of LTE which is currently in progress at the 3GPP. At present, as the number of smart phone users is rapidly increasing, the demand for ever more capacity is driven largely by video usage and high quality data communication and so on, this let more researchers study about LTE-A all over the world. LTE-A aims to achieve improved service and communication quality over 3G system at the aspect of throughput, peak data rate, latency, and spectral efficiency. Among various features in LTE-A, the multi-user MIMO(MU-MIMO), in which the base station transmits several streams to multiple receivers, has expected to give better quality for system. In this paper, we investigate performances of various types of downlink receivers with fixed number of antennas. we first review the development process from LTE to LTE-A. Second we introduce TM9 which is adopted in Rel.10 for MU-MIMO system, including the MU-MIMO system model and the explanation on the algorithm used in system. We also have brief introduction about sub-blocking in turbo decoding, finally we compare the performance between the uncoded case and coded case which is using turbo encoding.

항만물류서비스의 평가에 관하여 (On the Evaluation of Physical Distribution Service in Ports)

  • It is required to consider pricing and non-pricing factors and external economy in order to achieve the objects of physical distribution system in a port. Recently, among the three factors, much attention has been paid to non-pricing factor in the system. Although physical distribution service in a port(PDSP)has been frequently mentioned in documents and literature related to port and shipping studies, few study on it has not been systematically and scientifically made due to the following problems; $\circ$ there are not proper criteria to evaluate level and quality of PDSP and as a result it is difficult to set up a unified standard for doing so. $\circ$ algorithms to evaluate problems with complex and ambiguous attributes and multiple levels in PDSP are not available. This thesis aims to establish a paradigm to evaluate PDSP and to abvance existing decision making methods to deal with complex and ambiguous problems in PDSP. To tackle the first purpose, extensive and thorough literature survey was carried out on general physical distribution service, which is a corner stone to handle PDSp. In addition, through interviews and questionnaire to the expert, it have extracted 82 factors of physical distribution service in a port. They have been classified into 6 groups by KJ method and each group defined by the expert's advice as follows; a. Potentiality b. Exactness c. safety d. Speediness e. Convenience f. Linkage Prior to the service evaluation, many kinds of its attributes must be identified on the basis of rational decision owing to complexity and ambiguity inherent in PDSP. An analytical hierarchy process (AHP) is a method to evaluate them but it is not applicable to PDSP that have property of non-additivity and overlapped attributes. Therefore, probablility measure can not be used to evaluate PDSP but fuzzy measure is required. Hierarchical fuzzy integral method, which is merged AHP with fuzzy measure, is also not effective method to evaluate attributes because it has vary complicated way to calculate fuzzy measure identification coefficient of attributes. A new evaluation algorithm has been introduced to solve problems with multi-attribute and multi-level hierarchy, which is called hierarchy fuzzy process(HFP).Analysis on ambiguous aspects of PDSP under study which is not easy to be defined is prerequisite to evaluate it. HFP is different from algorithm existed in that it clarified the relationship between fuzzy measure and probability measure adopted in AHP and that it directly calculates the family of fuzzy measure from overlapping coefficient and probability measure to treat and evaluate ambiguous and complex aspects of PDSP. A new evaluation algorithm HFP was applied to evaluate level of physical distribution service in the biggest twenty container port in the world. The ranks of the ports are as follows; 1. 비선형 베어링 요소를 이용한 탄성 추진 축계정렬에 관한 고찰 (A Study on Elastic Shaft Alignment Using Nonlinear Soaring Elements)

  • The effects of hull flexibility on shaft alignment are growing as ship sizes are increased mainly for container carrier and LNG carrier. In order to consider hull flexibility on a propulsion shafting system, standardization of ship service conditions is necessary because hull deformation is continuously variable according to ship service conditions. How to summarize ship service conditions is suggested based on practically applicable four viewpoints : hull, engine, loading and sea status. Effects of the external forces acting on a ship propulsion shafting system are generally commented. Several design criteria regulated by classification societies are pointed at issue which seems to have Insufficient technical background. A qualitative verification is carried out to point out the invalidity of the assumption of effective supporting position. In this work, an elastic nonlinear multi-supporting bearing system is introduced as a key concept of the elastic shaft alignment. Hertz contact theory is proved to be more proper one than projected area method in calculation of the nonlinear elastic stiffness of the bearing, The squeezing and oil film pressure calculations in the long journal bearing like an after stern tube bearing are recognized as a necessary process for elastic shaft alignment design.

Generic Costing Scheme Using General Equilibrium Theory for Fair Cloud Service Charging

  • Cloud Service Providers (CSPs) enable their users to access Cloud computing and storage services from anywhere in quick and flexible manners through the Internet. With the basis of 'pay-as-you-go' model, it makes the interactions between CSPs and the users play a vital role in shaping the Cloud computing market. A pool of virtualized and dynamically scalable Cloud services that delivered on demand to the users is associated with guaranteed performance and cost-provisioning. It needed a costing scheme for determining suitable charges in order to secure lease pricing of the Cloud services. However, it is hard to meet the satisfied prices for both CSPs and users due to their conflicting needs. Furthermore, there is lack of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) that allowing the users to take part into price negotiating process. The users may lose their interest to use Cloud services while reducing CSPs profit. Therefore, this paper proposes a generic costing scheme for Cloud services using General Equilibrium Theory (GET). GET helps to formulate the price function for various services' factors to match with various demands from the users. It is initially determined by identifying the market circumstances that a general equilibrium will be hold and reached. Specifically, there are two procedures of agreement made in response to (i) established equilibrium supply and demand, and (ii) service price formed and constructed in a price range. The SLAs in our costing scheme is integrated to satisfy both CSPs and users' needs while minimizing their conflicts. The price ranging strategy is deliberated to provide prices' options to the users with respect their budget limit. Meanwhile, the CSPs can adaptively charge based on users' preferences without losing their profit. The costing scheme is testable and analyzed in multi-tenant computing environments. The results from our simulation experiments demonstrate that the proposed costing scheme provides better users' satisfaction while fostering fairness pricing in the Cloud market.

Decoding the Branded App Engagement Process: A Grounded Theory Approach

  • The study aims to explore the nature, drivers of BAE. In particular, how and why consumers engage with branded mobile apps. Since consumer engagement is a multi-dimensional and complex phenomenon, the authors took an interpretivist paradigm and used a grounded theory approach by interviewing 24 participants. The findings reveal that branded app engagement (BAE) is triggered by mainly three aspects, i.e., media characteristics (Privacy and security, customization, and convenience), brand-related aspects (brand image and product/service quality), and benefits sought (inherent and derived). More importantly, we uncover the underlying mechanism for each factor. Furthermore, the study explains the BAE process in its entirety from an app-centric perspective rather the brand powering the app. Thus, the study offers a fresh perspective and novel insights into the BAE process.

Optimal Scheduling of Utility Electric Vehicle Fleet Offering Ancillary Services

  • Vehicle-to-grid presents a mechanism to meet the key requirements of an electric power system, using electric vehicles (EVs) when they are parked. The most economic ancillary service is that of frequency regulation, which imposes some constraints regarding the period and duration of time the vehicles have to be connected to the grid. The majority of research explores the profitability of the aggregator, while the perspective of the EV fleet owner, in terms of their need for usage of their fleet, remains neglected. In this paper, the optimal allocation of available vehicles on a day-ahead basis using queuing theory and fuzzy multi-criteria methodology has been determined. The proposed methodology is illustrated on the daily scheduling of EVs in an electricity distribution company.

THROUGHPUT ANALYSIS OF TWO-STAGE MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS WITH MERGE AND BLOCKING

  • Parallel lines are often used to increase production rate in many manufacturing systems where the main line splits into several lines in parallel, and after some operations, they merge into a main line again. Queueing networks with finite buffers have been widely used for modeling and analyzing manufacturing systems. This paper provides an approximation technique for multi-server two-stage networks with merge configuration and blocking which will be a building block for analysis of general manufacturing systems with parallel lines and merge configuration. The main idea of the method is to decompose the original system into subsystems that have two service stations with multiple servers, two buffers and external arrivals to the second stage are allowed. The subsystems are modeled by level dependent quasi-birth-and-death (LDQBD) process.
