The distance optimizing between coil and magnetic materials never be specified in the magnetic materials acceleration using the coil till now. We can know to be the distance which optimizes when being in the half position about the distance of intercoil by the result of the max point on the Differential calculus. Whether several top and bottom current segment coil structures were made and the steel ball in which the current segment coil structure is the magnetic materials could be accelerated in the optimizing distance or not confirmed. When the coil valley current about the mass of the steel ball was known as the experiment and it was but to be the nose consequently it applied to the magnetic materials and magnetic fluid, the optimal distance was solved between the coil and material.

This paper was applied space harmonic method as a characteristic analysis technique for slotless PMLSM. There is advantages of active response to the change of design parameters as well as reduction of the calculation time. The method can be overcome disadvantages of finite element analysis that needs long times calculation, repetitions of pre and post-process. In this paper, 3D-space harmonic method was applied to consider the precise description of end turn coil shape and the changes of characteristic according to changes of length of z-axis direction. The thrust of optimal design was performed using genetic algorithm to enhance the thrust which is the disadvantage of slotless type PMLSM. For design parameters, width of permanent magnet, width of coil, width of coil inner and lengths of z-axis direction were selected. For objective functions. thrust per weight. thrust per volume. multi-objective function was selected.

MRI magnet has generally multi-section coil configurations to generate highly homogeneous magnetic field. Each coil is bridged by a shunt resistor to protect the superconducting magnet during quench. In order to optimize the shunt resistor, self inductance of each coil and mutual inductances between coils should be determined beforehand. Therefore, we calculated the self and the mutual inductances of MRI magnet with OPERA program for electromagnetic analysis.
This paper presents the design and analysis of a vibration-driven electromagnetic energy harvester that uses a multi-pole magnet. The physical backgrounds of the vibration electromagnetic energy harvester are reported, and an ANSYS finite element analysis simulation has been used to determine the different alignments of the magnetic pole array with their flux lines and density. The basic working principles for a single and multi-pole magnet are illustrated and the proposed harvester has been presented in a schematic diagram. Mechanical parameters such as input frequency, maximum displacement, number of coil turns, and load resistance have been analyzed to obtain an optimized output power for the harvester through theoretical study. The paper reports a maximum of 1.005 mW of power with a load resistance of $1.9k{\Omega}$ for 5 magnets with 450 coil turns.
The purpose of this study was to improve the technique so as to develop an advanced sensitive RF surface coil for investigating the sensitivities of the multi-spiral surface coils, and we eventually wanted to achieve high resolution of the microscopic MR images and MR spectra. The magnetic field inhomogeneity and shape of a surface coil were statistically estimated by simulation of the magnetic field distribution. On the basis of the experimental results with single, 3 and S-turned spiral RF surface coils, we found that the 3-turned coil had the highest sensitivity. The present study showed that the sensitivity of the RF surface coil was improved by increasing the number of spiral coil turns, and also the SNR of the RF surface coil was dependent upon the number of spiral coil turns. However, we found, rather strikingly, that the sensitivity of excessive turns of the coils was decreased due to the rise of the coil's Impedance. Thus, the present results demonstrated that the sensitivity was not proportional to the number of a spiral RF coil's turns, and the number of spiral coil turns should be optimized for obtaining the highest sensitivity and SNR.

In this paper, we have studied about design and fabrication of the actively shielded superconducting MRI magnet. Nonlinear optimization methods are usually used to find optimum coil configurations. However the selection of initial coil configurations is very difficult. In case bad initial data are used, it is even impossible to find optimum coil configurations which satisfy predefined constraints. We have developed computer optimization program which consists of two steps. Initial coil configurations are easily selected through linear optimization in the first step and optimum coil configurations are found through nonlinear optimization in the second step. We have also studied about superconducting shim coils to cancel error fields caused by coil fabrication errors. Many researchers published design concepts of shim coil. However all these studies are for shim coil design using filamentary coils with single turn, Shim coils with multi-turns should be used to produce enough field strength to cancel error fields. We have developed computer program for the design of shim coils which have proper thickness and length. An actively shielded superconducting MRI magnet with a small warm bore was fabricated and four sets of superconducting shim coils were equipped. The magnetic field distributions were measured and field correction was carried out using shim coils.
We have designed and fabricated the single-layer high $T_{c}$ SQUID magnetometer consisting of a directly coupled grain boundary junction SQUID with an inductance of 100 pH and 16 nested parallel pickup coils with the outermost dimension of 8.8 mm ${\times}$ 8.8 mm. The magnetometer was formed from a YBCO thin film deposited on an STO(100) bicrystal substrate with a misorientation angle of $30^{\circ}$. The SQUID magnetometer was further improved by optimizing the multi-loop pickup coil design for use in unshielded environments. Typical characteristics of the dc SQUID magnetometer had a modulation voltage of 40 $\mu\textrm{V}$ and a white noise of $30fT/Hz^{1}$2/. The SQUID magnetometer exhibited a 1/f noise level at 10 Hz reduced by a factor of about 3 compared with that of the conventional solid type pickup coil magnetometers and a very stable flux locked loop operation in magnetically disturbed environments.s.
In the magnetically coupled wireless power transmit (WPT), the study of the multi-dimensional transmission coil to solve the low power transmission efficiency from the location of transmit coil and receiving coil is being developed. This paper, an important step in this study, presents the magnetically coupled model of the WPT system consist of the two-dimensional transmit coil and verifies by the simulation and experiment. The induced model in this paper can be used to design the WPT circuit and controller for the maximum transmission efficiency.

Magnetic separators that clean the fluid stream from impurities, protect the installations in numerous industries. This paper introduces a graphical user interface (GUI) which proposes an optimized coil separating magnetic particles with a radius from 1 up to 500 µm. High gradient magnetic fields are employed in an arbitrary user defined fluidic channel which is made of a nonmetallic material. The effects of coil parameters are studied and adjusted to design an optimum coil with a minimum Ohmic loss. In addition, to design the coil scheme based on the particle movements, a mathematical particle-tracing model within the fluid channels has been utilized. In comparison to conventional magnetic separators, this model is reconfigurable by the user, produces a weaker magnetic field, allows for continuous purifying and is easy to install, with high separation efficiency. The presented GUI is simple to use, where the coil's manufacturing limitations can be specified.

multi-beam optical drive is a method to improve the data transfer rate for the optical disc systems by parallel recording and reading on neighboring multi-tracks. In this paper, the beam rotating actuator, which is necessary for the multi-bean optical disc drive to from beam spots on multi-tracks simultaneously, has been developed. The Voice Coil Motor is used as a drive mechanism for high resolution and small size of the actuator. And rotating guide based on link structure is designed for frictionless and axisless rotation of rotating part including dove prism and for rotating in axis of geometric center of dove prism. The characteristics of the actuator are experimented by laser vibrometer, Polytec OFV1102 and a dynamic analyzer, HP35670A. It shows that the actuator has good linearity, rotating range $\pm0.34^\circ$, minimum rotating angle $0.0066^\circ$and natural frequency 113.9Hz. Therefore the actuator can be applied in a multi-beam optical disc system.
