  • In the history of space design, the concept and application of Multi-Layer can be easily found in various projects. As life styles in the contemporary cities are becoming more and more complex and inter-related to each other, the concept of multi-layer is re-considered In terms of constructing differentiated life patterns as well as multi programs within certain physical buildings or designs. This study aims to analyze the brief history of multi-layer in space design and the contemporary applications in recent architectural as well as interior design projects. It is concluded that the concept of multi layer is not only useful for constructing an interesting spatial organizations, but can also be a vital tool for re-organizing the contemporary urban programs that cannot be considered with the preconceived existing terms.

  • 스마트 폰이 보급화 되면서 구인관련 앱이 많이 생겨나고 있다. 하지만 전공을 특화시킨 어플리케이션은 보급화 되어 있지 않은 상태이다. 본 논문은 대학생 및 이직을 원하는 사람들에게 전공 관련 기업의 정보를 제공하고, 자신의 능력에 맞는 기업을 소개해주는 방식으로 설계 및 구현을 하였다. 이 앱을 통하여 대학생 및 이직을 생각하는 사람들에게 많은 정보와 기회를 제공할 것으로 예상된다.

An Experimental Study on the Performance Characteristics of a Single-Circuit Multi Cycle and a Bypass Two-Circuit Multi Cycle (단일유로 멀티사이클 및 바이패스유로 멀티사이클 적용 냉동시스템의 성능특성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • The object of this study is to investigate the performance characteristics of refrigerators using a single-circuit multi cycle and a bypass two-circuit multi cycle. Each refrigeration cycle was tested by varying secondary fluid mass flow rate and temperature. Based on the experimental data, the optimum refrigerant charge was 48 g and the COP at the optimum secondary fluid mass flow rate was 1.53 for the single-circuit multi cycle. For freezer(F)-only mode, both the single-circuit multi cycle and the bypass two-circuit multi cycle were operated at overcharge conditions, resulting in an increase of the secondary fluid mass flow rate. The maximum COPs of the single-circuit multi cycle and the bypass two-circuit multi cycle were 1.22 and 1.35, respectively. The COP increased by 10.7% with the application of the bypass two-circuit multi cycle.

This system guarantees low delay of voice data for Internet telephony in VoIP end terminal that has various kinds of Internet dependant application. QoS system we propose support low delay transmission in VoIP terminal interface.

  • In the large and multifunctional engineering system, the heterogeneous computer system situation is inevitable. Accordingly a lot of integration efforts are being made to comply with the industrial requirement of productivity. In this paper, a practical concept of integration is introduced through the development of a prototype system for ship outfitting design which is a typical example of large/multi-functional application system. On the development of the prototype system, three points are considered as a practical concept-which are integration of database, integration of application programs, and system-user interface. The relation model based commercial database management system(RDBMS) is used to build the project integrated database, and the graphical user interface tool(OSF/Motif) on X-window system is used for the integration of application programs and the user interface.

  • Interactive multi-media advertising is a new field with broad space of research coming into being with the emergence and extensive application of computer multi-media technology. This text analyzes the existing application in the advertisement of mutual media at first. Secondly analyze the public service advertisement design in the mutual media and public space.   • In this paper, a neural control algorithm is proposed on the automation of adjustment process. The adjustment processes in camcoder production line are modelled, and the processes are adjusted automatically by means of off-line supervisory trained multi-layer neural network. We have made many experiments on the several adjustment processes by using the control algorithm. There are many unexpected troubles to achieve the desirable adjust time in the practical application. To overcome those, some auxiliary algorithms are demanded. As a result, our proposed algorithm has some advantages - simple architecture, easy extraction of the training data without expertises, adaptability to the varying systems, and wide application for the other resemble processes.

  • This paper deals with the fault detection problem in uncertain linear multivariable systems and its application. A robust fault detection method presented by Kim et a. (1998) for MIMO (Multi Input/Multi Output) systems has been adopted and applied to the twin rotor MIMO experimental setup using industrial DSP. The system identification problem is formulated for the twin rotor MIMO system and its parameters are estimated using experimental data. Based on the estimated parameters, some fault detection simulations are performed using the robust fault detection method, which shows that the preformance is satisfied.

  • High sped messaging layer for application's feeling of low level network performance is needed by Clustering System based on high speed network fabrics. It should have the mechanism to directly pass messages between network card and application space, and provide flexible affodabilities for many diverse applications. In this paper, CROWN (Clustering Resources On Workstations' Network) which is designed and implemented for multi-purpose clustering system will be introduced briefly, and CLCP(CROWN Lean Communication Primitives)which is the high speed messaging layer for CROWN will be followed. CLCP consists of a firmware for controlling Myrinet card, device drier, and user libraries. CLCP supports various application domains as a result of pooling and interrupt receive mechanism. In case of polling based receive, 8 bytes short message, and no other process, CLCP has 262 micro-second response time between two nodes, and IM bytes large message, it shows 442Mbps bandwidth.

Application of Consignment to Three Stage Supply Chain

  • Purpose - The study investigates the impact of consignment on the economic performance in the supply chain with three stages. Through the analysis on distinct forms of consignment application, this study intends to answer to the question of how the consignment should be used in the multi-stage supply chain. Research design, data, and methodology - The proposed mathematical model represents the supply chain system with a manufacturer, a wholesaler, and a retailer. Three different forms of consignment application are considered depending on which stages adapt the consignment, and their system profits are compared with the traditional non-consignment system in numerical examples. Results - The numerical examples show that the serial consignment application performs better than any other forms of consignment as well as the non-consignment system. The additional analysis indicates that the system profit is significantly sensitive to the consignment rate. Conclusions - The outcome of this study implies the potential of consignment to improve the system performance even in the multi-stage supply chain system. Meanwhile, each supply chain member's preference to the specific form of consignment application could be different depending on which stage he has. All the supply chain members should jointly determine the appropriate consignment rates to obtain the best system performance.
