Clustering-based Hybrid Filtering Algorithm

  • Recommender systems help consumers to find the useful products from the overloaded information. Researchers have developed content-based recommenders, collaborative recommenders, and a few hybrid systems. In this research, we extend the classic collaborative recommenders by clustering method to form a hybrid recommender system. Using the clustering method, we can recommend the products based on not only the user ratings but also other useful information from user profiles or attributes of items. Through our experiments on well-known MovieLens data set, we found that the information provided by the attributes of item on the item-based collaborative filter shows advantage over the information provided by user profiles on the user-based collaborative filter.

  • 전 세계적으로 인터넷 보급률이 높아지고 소셜 미디어 등의 인기로 여러 사람의 의견을 한눈에 볼 수 있는 기회가 많아 졌다. 영화의 경우도 마찬가지다 관객들의 영화평은 다른 잠재적인 관객들의 동일 영화의 관람을 이끌어 내는데 큰 동기가 된다. 하지만 개개인이 영화에 대한 느낌이 다르기 때문에 관객이 영화의 결정을 위하여 수많은 영화평에 포함된 의견들을 효과적으로 검토하기 쉽지 않다. 따라서 관객들이 특정 장르에 대해 느끼는 정도를 여러 영화평 속에서 추출해 수치화하여 좀더 신뢰도가 높은 장르에 대한 정보를 얻고자 한다.

  • 인터넷 시장이 빠르게 성장함에 따라 사용자들의 참여도가 매우 높아졌다. 인터넷 사용자들은 시장의 상품과 더불어 영화와 같은 문화 생활에 관한 의견을 웹 상에 표현하기 시작했고, 현재에 들어 그 양이 방대해 졌다. 본 논문에서는 사용들이 작성한 영화에 관한 리뷰를 모아 방대한 양에서 유용한 정보를 효율적으로 도출하고 요약해서 사용자에게 제공하는 방법을 제안한다.

  • In this paper, we present a model based 3d facial modeling method for virtual reality application using only one front of face photography. We extract facial feature using facial photography and modify mesh of the basic 3D model by the facial feature. After this , We use texture mapping for more similarity. By experiment, we know that the modeling technic is useful method for Movie, Virtual Reality Application, Game , Clothing Industry , 3D Video Conference.

  • This paper explains the system which finds the data of the joint of Wire Frame(that express the body structure of the golfer) from standard golf swing movie. Also, this paper used interpolation and the method which modify the distance between a joint and a close joint to general new joint data. Last this paper explains the system that make a standard golf swing attitude by continuous display the static attitude(which are formed with Wire Frame) of golf swing operations.

  • If one can easily modify the existing motion data to a new motion in making an animation movie, he can save a lot of time for graphic design. To implement this kind of system, we propose a PC-based system composed of low cost commercial animation tool (3D Studio Max) for visualization of the animation and motion editing module that handles optimization process during the motion transform. Researchers studying advanced motion transform techniques only have to focus on the mathematical manipulation of the motion data

  • In this paper, we propose a depth-based mesh modeling method to generate virtual environment. The proposed algorithm constructs mesh model from unorganized point cloud obtained from a multi-view camera. We separate the point cloud consisting objects from the background. Then, we apply triangulation to each object and background. Since the objects and the background are modeled independently, it is possible to construct effective virtual environment. The application of proposed modeling method is applicable to entertainment, such as movie and video game and effective virtual environment generation.

  • Recommand Systems are being used by an ever-increasing number of E-Commerce to help customers find products to purchase. Recommend Systems offer a technology that allows personalized recommendations of items of potential interest to users based on information about similarities and dissimilarities among different customers tastes. In this paper, we design and build a Recommend System using the historical customer movie purchase transactions and extracts the knowledge needed to make association recommendations to new customers.

Improved Post-Filtering Method Using Context Compensation

  • According to the expansion of smartphone penetration and development of wearable device, personal context information can be easily collected. To use this information, the context aware recommender system has been actively studied. The key issue in this field is how to deal with the context information, as users are influenced by different contexts while rating items. But measuring the similarity among contexts is not a trivial task. To solve this problem, we propose context aware post-filtering to apply the context compensation. To be specific, we calculate the compensation for different context information by measuring their average. After reflecting the compensation of the rating data, the mechanism recommends the items to the user. Based on the item recommendation list, we recover the rating score considering the context information. To verify the effectiveness of the proposed method, we use the real movie rating dataset. Experimental evaluation shows that our proposed method outperforms several state-of-the-art approaches.
