  • Korean movies are now entering the global market without staying in the domestic market. Especially, despite the fact that the foreign films are imported and opened to the domestic market very much, there are more domestic films that have succeeded in box office success. In this paper, we try to clarify the characteristics of the voices of movies in order to feel horror among various genres of domestic movies. For this reason, the criterion for the success of the movie is the number of paying audiences, so differences of the voice of the characters of the horror movie that succeeded to hit the box office and the voice of the characters of the horror movie that failed to hit the box are analyzed for verifying the success conditions in voice. In addition, we would like to suggest what kind of voice should be used in order to succeed in the horror movie from the voice point of view.

  • Recently computer can make cyberspace to walk through by an interactive virtual reality technique. An a avatar in cyberspace can bring us a virtual face-to-face communication environment. In this paper, an avatar is realized which has a real face in cyberspace and a multiuser communication system is constructed by voice transmitted through network. Voice from microphone is transmitted and analyzed, then mouth shape and facial expression of avatar are synchronously estimated and synthesized on real time. And also an entertainment application of a real-time voice driven synthetic face is introduced and this is an example of interactive movie. Finally, face motion capture system using physics based face model is introduced.

Finally, we will examine the perception of treatment measures for schizophrenia. Comprehensively, through this process, the schizophrenia symptoms expressed in the two films will have some effect on social perception of schizophrenia and the social implications of therapeutic intervention for schizophrenia recovery.

  • The characters' voices in the movie, Rashomon mean the absence of memories created by self-consciousness in order to avoid the crisis. The varying statements of the characters and the three spaces: the space of Nakanimon (th e ruins), the representation space as polyphony (the forest), the egoistic space of truth (the guardian), show the social ills of doubtfulness and mistrust among the Japanese at that time due to the defeat from the war. This matches with the polyphony theory of Mr. Bakhtin, a Russian cultural critic. The key concept of polyphony theory is that the voices that do not accord each other are not harmonized but each voice builds their own world and participates in the novel without being influenced by the creator. This study's aim is to discuss two aspects; Bakhtin's polypony theory allows polyphony film s to function as cinematic composition and spatial characteristics of polyphony films in the movie, Rashomon.

Since she was accessed by him, Samantha has expanded her ability rhizomatically. She could have sex with human and philosophical debates with a departed philosopher. While they have relationship, Theodore experiences the expansion of his conscience. Love cannot be confined in a small box. After realizing how to love people around him, he sends a love letter to Katherine with all his heart. The meaning of co-existing with A.I. and human is to have a chance to introspect our inner side of mind more deeply.

  • With the continuous development of the Internet and digital, platforms are emerging to store large amounts of media data and provide customized services to individuals through online. Companies that provide these services recommend movies that suit their personal tastes to promote media consumption. Each company is doing a lot of research on various algorithms to recommend media that users prefer. Movies are divided into genres such as action, melodrama, horror, and drama, and the film's audio (music, sound effect, voice) is an important production element that makes up the film. In this research, based on movie trailers, we extract audio for each genre, check the commonalities of audio for each genre, distinguish movie genres through supervised learning of artificial intelligence, and propose a utilization method for generating metadata in the future.

  • As sensor technologies and image processing technologies make collecting information on users' behavior easy, many researchers have examined automatic emotion recognition based on facial expressions, body expressions, and tone of voice, among others. Specifically, many studies have used normal cameras in the multimodal case using facial and body expressions. Thus, previous studies used a limited number of information because normal cameras generally produce only two-dimensional images. In the present research, we propose an artificial neural network-based model using a high-definition webcam and Kinect to recognize users' emotions from facial and bodily expressions when watching a movie trailer. We validate the proposed model in a naturally occurring field environment rather than in an artificially controlled laboratory environment. The result of this research will be helpful in the wide use of emotion recognition models in advertisements, exhibitions, and interactive shows.

  • Computing and Networking technologies are rapidly developed. Currently, Internet environment can offer voice, multimedia data as well as real-time movie services. But, the number of hacking has increased very much and the damages become serious. In this paper, the change of hacking method and security paradigm is investigated. And, we study in existing network security systems including newly developed security systems. Finally, we describe development directions of network sorority system for next generation network environment.

  • is a movie about the frustration and the despair of young people in Korean society today. It is different from the previous Lee Chang-dong's film in that it provides the main character's perception and feelings about the world as the ultimate cause of the protagonist's actions. Lee Chang-dong's characters begin to change from . The main character of Burning goes one step further. He seems to believe that the main character's only weapon to overcome the logic and constraints of reality is obsessive and compulsive behaviors. Unlike previous movies, the character in Burning is a person who practices awareness and proves his character through action. I will analyze characters in to suggest the change of film form.
