The patterns of the conventional radiation treatment fields and their shielding blocks are analysed to determine the optimal dimension of the MultiLeaf Collimator (MLC) which is considered as an essential tool for conformal therapy. Total 1109 radiation fields from 303 patients (203 from Asan Medical center, 50 from Baek Hosp and 50 from Hanyang Univ. Hosp.) were analysed for this study. Weighted case selection treatment site (from The Korean Society of Therapeutic Radiology 1993). Ninety one percent of total fields have shielding blocks. Y axis is defined as leaf movement direction and it is assumed that MLC is installed on the cranial-caudal direction. The length of X axis were distributed from 4cm to 40cm (less than 21cm for $95\%$ of cases), and Y axis from 5cm to 38cm (less than 22cm for $95\%$ of cases). The shielding blocks extended to less than 6cm from center of the field for $95\%$ of the cases. Start length for ninety five percent of block is less than 10cm for X axis and 11cm for Y axis. Seventy six percent of shielding blocks could be placed by either X or Y axis direction, $7.9\%$ only by Y axis, $5.1\%$ only by X axis and It is reasonable to install MLC for Y direction. Ninety five percent of patients can be treated with coplanar rotation therapy without changing the collimator angle. Eleven percent of cases of cases were impossible to replace with MLC. Futher study of shielding technique is needed for $11\%$ impossible cases. The treatment field dimension of MLC should be larger than $21cm{\times}22cm$. The MLC should be designed as a pair of 21 leaves with 1cm wide for an acceptable resolution and 17cm long to enable the leaf to overtravel at least 6cm from the treatment field center.

The purpose of this study is to grasp inconveniences and improvements by examining wearing condition and satisfaction of protective clothing targeting 114 Korean farmers and to suggest basic data for enhancement of pattern and wearing satisfaction of protective clothing by understanding problems of pesticide-proof clothing through comparative analysis on the size of its commercial products. Most of male subjects were in charge of spraying pesticide, whereas female were most likely to play an assistant role to hold the hose of pesticide applicator. Both of female and male subjects were very aware of the harmful effect of pesticide on human body and tried to take off the clothes immediately after spraying it to reduce possible damage caused by pesticide. As a result of examining wearing condition, the farmers avoided wearing protective clothing because that it feels hot, stuffy, and uncomfortable to move. This hesitant response of wearing the clothing was not shown significantly in case of female subjects who play an assistant role for spraying. Although the farmers wore protective equipments such as mask or gloves in a proper way as compared to protective clothing, they seemed to choose alternative way rather than best way to block pesticide completely. The satisfaction regarding to the fitting of protective clothing which the subjects showed low in all items of upper-lower clothes except waistline. It is necessary to improve the functionality such as relief from heat stress and convenience for movement rather than design or economic in protective clothing development. As a result of comparing the size of five kinds of commercial protective clothing, the farmers got confused to choose the product since designation method of size across companies showed a significant difference in an identical clothing size. In addition, the sizing system developed on a basis of a well-built man has become a hindering factor in wearing satisfaction of female farmers.

Field observations have been conducted to investigate the physical environment around oyster farms in Gamak Bay. Tidal waves near the two channels at the northeast and south of the bay had almost the same amplitudes and phases. Water temperature responded sensibly to the tides, rising at high water and falling at low water, except for the northwest region. The currents more regularly varied in accordance with a tidal period as long as they are at the faster-flowing region. A considerable flow has been found near the seabed of the northwest of the bay, normally known to be a stagnant area, and also the flow was opposite to the surface flow. Average moving speeds and directions of the flow at each station coincided well with patterns of the residual currents computed by Lee ef al. [2004], except for the northwest region. The discrepancy for the northwest region is not clear but it may have resulted from the facts that the computed flow pattern represents only the case of spring tide and in addition, a northwesterly wind prevailed all the observation time.

The biased estimation of low density rainfall network and radar rainfall has limited application to extreme rainfall in a small area. To improve this, more rainfall information needs to be produced. In this study, we analyzed the applicability of the vehicle rainfall sensor developed and used recently. The developed rainfall sensor was attached to the vehicle to observe the rainfall according to the movement of the vehicle. The analytical method used time series and average rainfall values for observations of rainfall sensors and nearby rainfall stations. The results show that the trend of observed values according to rainfall events shows a certain pattern. It is analyzed that it is caused by various causes such as the difference between the observation position of the rainfall sensor and the nearby rainfall station, the moving speed of the vehicle, and the rainfall observation method. This result shows the possibility of rainfall observation using a rainfall sensor for a vehicle, and it is possible to observe rainfall more precisely through experiments and improvement of rainfall sensors in various conditions in the future.

Various policies and services are being implemented in Korea and other countries, such as the expansion of convenience facilities for mobility support, the provision of special means of transportation, and the establishment of public transportation route plans and fare policies based on data and AI-based movement pattern analysis to ensure the mobility rights of the weak in transportation. However, A research is still needed to improve service convenience in order to more conveniently use the desired means of transportation in a necessary situation from the viewpoint of the transportation vulnerable. This study examines the policies and services for the promotion of mobility for the transportation disadvantaged, and presents a MyData-based service model for mobility support for the transportation disadvantaged. In the proposed service model, the transportation-disabled person can freely choose and use the means of transportation according to individual circumstances, and receive the same transportation welfare voucher benefits provided by the state or government. The proposed service model defines the MyData platform that supports the safe collection and use of personal data, the authentication of traffic welfare recipients based on MyData, and the payment function for fee settlement after using the service as key components. In this research, the service satisfaction from the user's point of view was investigated by implementing the proposed service model and providing a demonstration service for the transportation vulnerable in Daejeon.

The advent of the Fourth Industrial Revolution provides new civilized convenience, while the humanistic ecological environment is at stake. Therefore, establishing a desirable cultural ecosystem begins with an enduring tradition of traditional art.This study examined the dancing characteristics of gabbigochanong-ag, which maintains the nongsapul-inong-ag performance pattern. Two field studies and image analysis studies showed that gabbigochanong-ag maintained the characteristics of traditional nong-ag, which strengthened the solidarity and cooperation of village community members and shared community identity. gabbigochanong-ag encourages the participation of the members of the village community through mechanistic dance movements based on soundness, imitative dance movements with minimal movement, repetitive dance movements, and communicative dance movements, As a result of the change, the members of the group were attracted to each other. Although gabbigochanong-ag was not sophisticated or sophisticated, it had a dancing structure that could create aesthetics and marginal aesthetics of slowness from the swiftness and convenience of civilization and bring harmony among the members of the community with warm emotion.

Recently, many problems are occurring in the bee ecosystem due to rapid climate change. The decline in the bee population and changes in the flowering period are having a huge impact on the harvest of bee-keepers. Since it is impossible to continuously observe the beehives in the hive with the naked eye, most people rely on knowledge based on experience about the state of the hive.Therefore, interest is focused on smart beekeeping incorporating IoT technology. In particular, with regard to swarming, which is one of the most important parts of beekeeping, we know empirically that the swarming time can be determined by the sound of the queen bee, but there is no way to systematically analyze this with data.You may think that it can be done by simply recording the sound of the queen bee and analyzing it, but it does not solve various problems such as various noise issues around the hive and the inability to continuously record.In this study, we developed a system that records queen bee sounds in a real-time cloud system and analyzes sound patterns.After receiving real-time analog sound from the hive through multiple channels and converting it to digital, a sound pattern that was continuously output in the queen bee sound frequency band was discovered. By accessing the cloud system, you can monitor sounds around the hive, temperature/humidity inside the hive, weight, and internal movement data.The system developed in this study made it possible to analyze the sound patterns of the queen bee and learn about the situation inside the hive. Through this, it will be possible to predict the swarming period of bees or provide information to control the swarming period.
Coarticulation is affected by the continuous movement of the articulator within a limited time and space through the neighboring segments and various overlaps. This study investigated the differences in coarticulation characteristics of children with reading disabilities and nondisabled children in CVC and VCV syllables consisted of stops, affricates, and vowels (a, i, u). The subjects were 13 children with reading disabilities and nondisabled children in the 2nd to 6th grades in elementary school. Two second formants were measured. One was measured at the point where the vowel began, and the other was measured at the mid point of the vowel stable section. Regression analysis was performed with F2 onset and F2 of the following vowel to obtain the locus equation (LE). 3-way ANOVA was conducted to the slope of the LE according to the groups (reading disabilities vs. nondisabled), places of articulation, and phonation types. In CVC syllable, dyslexic children showed a flatter slope than nondisabled children. With respect to the places of articulation, velar or bilabial sounds showed steeper LE slope than alveolar or palatal sounds. There were no main effects regarding group and phonation types variable for VCV syllable, and the significant differences in the places of articulation were also differed from the results for the CVC syllables. This study confirmed that dyslexic children showed a different pattern of coarticulation slope depending on the syllable structure. We also found that the higher pause rate of the dyslexic children had a stronger effect on the coarticulation in VCV structures.
With 78% of current fisheries workers being elderly, there's a pressing need to address labor shortages. Consequently, active research on smart aquaculture technologies, centered on object detection and tracking algorithms, is underway. These technologies allow for fish size analysis and behavior pattern forecasting, facilitating the development of real-time monitoring and automated systems. Our study utilized video data from cameras outside aquaculture facilities and implemented fish detection and tracking algorithms. We aimed to tackle high maintenance costs due to underwater conditions and camera corrosion from ammonia and pH levels. We evaluated the performance of a real-time system using YOLOv7 for fish detection and the SORT algorithm for movement tracking. YOLOv7 results demonstrated a trade-off between Recall and Precision, minimizing false detections from lighting, water currents, and shadows. Effective tracking was ascertained through re-identification. This research holds promise for enhancing smart aquaculture's operational efficiency and improving fishery facility management.
One of the various mechanics used to treat unilateral Class II malocclusion is head gear with asymmetric face bow. We made the finite element models of unilateral Class II maxillary dental arch and power arm asymmetric face bow. We designed this experiment to observe stress distribution of periodontal ligament, reaction force, and displacement and to understand force system, so to predict the therapeutic effect. On the basis of computerized tomograph of maxillary dental arch of 25 years old male with normal occlusion without extraction and orthodontic treatment history, we made finite element models of maxillary dental arch and periodontal ligament. Then we modified that model to unilateral maxillary Class II malocclusion model of which maxillary left molar displaced mesially. Also, We made finite element model of asymmetric face bow of which right outer bow shorter than left by 25mm(RMO, Penta-FormTM/Medium size, 0.045 inch iner bow, 0.072 inch outer bow). After that, retraction force of 250g, 300b, 350g were applied to maxillary first molar. We concluded as follow. 1. The Net force that both maxillary first molars were received increased as the retraction force increased. Mesially positioned tooth received more force than normally positioned tooth. But, both tooth were received distal force, so distal movement occured. 2. Both tooth received buccal lateral force. In analysis of force element, as the retraction force were increased, force of X-axis at mesially positioned tooth decreased, and force of X-axis at normally positioned tooth increased. so lateral force component moved to the side received less force from more force. 3. There were rotation, tipping with distal movement in maxillary first molar. As retraction force were increased, rotation and tipping also increased. More tipping and rotation occured at the side received more force, that is, mesially positioned tooth. Though it Is small change, displacement of same pattern occur in normally positioned tooth
