Proper excitation voltage and fixed switching angle control scheme for SRM drive (SMR구동을 위한 적정여자전압 고정스위칭각 제어방식)

  • As the current shape of SRM is of pulse type and changed by the motor parameters and drive conditions, the influences on the drive efficiency by control method are more than other types of motors. In this paper, a proper excitation condition to drive a SRM with high efficiency is proposed and tested. It is derived from the conditions that the phase current of a SRM is to be flat-topped at various drive. The saturation effect of magnetic circuit is accounted for more accurate analysis. Experimental tests are executed to verify the proposed excitation method. This drive system is easy to commutate and also advantageous in reducing torque ripple. (author). 6 refs., 10 figs., 1 tab.

The Static Thrust Calculation of a Hybrid Type Double-sided Linear Pulse Motor (Hybrid 형 양측식LPM의 정추력 계산)

  • This paper proposes a new method to compute the static thrust of a hybrid-type LPM by the coenergy method, which can be applied to a nonlinear programming of the optimization techniques for the optimal design. In the process of the computation, the magnetic nonlinearities of the permanent magnet, the primary and the secondary core are interpolated by the cubic spline method. And then, the equivalent magnetic circuit including the airgap reluctance which is a function of the displacement is modelled by the permeance method. The static thrust which is a derivative of the coenergy is computed by the Newton Raphson method at each displacement. To verify this proposed method, the results of the compjutation are compaction with those of the experiment obtained from the DLPM with 2 phase and 4 poles.

  • In this paper, we propose the shape of extremely small thrust VCM for application of the Nanoindenter, which enables control of very small force and displacement. We performed optimization of the VCM shape using conjugated gradient method. And the purposes of optimization are the minimization of the permanent magnet size for the efficient systems, minimization of deviation of flux density from the air gap for operate on regular thrust and a linearization of thrust for a good control characteristic. The finite element method is used for characteristic analysis. The node moving method is used to redundant changes of design variables. As a result, the VCM produces a yew small force by the difference of flux density of lower part from higher one. Also, in a wide range of current (0[A]-1[A]), the VCM produces linear driving thrust by saturating the magnetic circuit path and operate on regular thrust by minimizing deviation of flux density of the air gap.

  • 영구자석을 이용한 다상 브러시리스 전동기의 역기전력의 파형은 정현파나 이상적인 사다리꼴 파형과는 다른 형태를 갖는다. 또한 다상 전동기의 경우 상호인덕턴스에 대한 이론적 해석이 쉽지 않아 시뮬레이션을 위한 모델 구현이 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 임의의 역기전력 파형을 갖는 7상 영구자석 브러시리스 전동기의 시뮬레이션 모델 구현 방법으로 회로 및 수식 을 기반으로 FEA(Finite Element Analysis)를 이용한 모델을 제안하고 시뮬레이션과 실험을 통해 제안된 모델의 타당성을 입증한다.

  • Mechanical spring and hydraulic pressure operated mechanisms are applied in most of today's High Voltage Gas Insulated Switchgear(GIS)s. This paper proposes a new type of operation mechanism for GIS circuit breakers rated at 245kV and 40kA. The Motor-Direct-Drive-Mechanism (MDDM) has many advantages compared to conventional operating mechanisms. It has a very simple structure with only one moving part, low mechanical stress and audible noise. It also allows monitoring, operation speed control and self-diagnosis functions.

  • 본 논문에서는 전기자동차의 1회 충전 주행거리 연장 및 연비 향상을 위하여 주요 운전 영역에서의 평균효율 극대화를 할 수 있는 다단 변속 회로를 제안하였다. 제안한 회로는 Thyristor를 이용한 직 병렬 변속회로로 구성되어 있다. Thyristor의 특성으로 인해 과도상태 없고 끊김없는 변속이 가능하여 추가적인 스너버회로가 필요 없으며, 낮은 스위치손실로 인해 AC전동기 시스템의 고효율 및 경량화를 기대할 수 있다. 제안한 다단변속 시스템의 타당성을 검증하기 위하여 1kW 급 시작품 1대를 AC전동기와 연계하여 변속 동작을 검증하였다.

  • In this study, we implement the laser pattern controller using function generator IC. Overall system consists of : (1) laser excitation circuit and laser tube, (2) two small mirrors to reflect laser beam on the screen, (3) two small motors for X, Y axis enabling each attached mirrors to rotate, (4) controller for motor control and user interface, (5) system power. We explain the architecture of the system and required theory to implement the system. Finally, experimental results are illustrated to show the performance of the system.

  • Electrical Power System (EPS) of Electric Vehicle which consists of batteries, motor and driving subsystem, has been modeled. A battery model is modeled with an electrical circuit representing a characteristics of real battery. Driving subsystem is modeled as three different level namely exact, average and functional models. Load profile includes road information, speed profile and EV mechanical parameters, which are incorporated into a reference torque in the driving subsystem model. A system model is integrated to simulate the performance of electric vehicle such as energy balance, battery status, and electrical stress of each subsystem.

  • Load models for the analysis and simulation of power system are often introduced when the more accurate result is required. This work presents a single expressed load model as T-equivalent circuit of induction motor, for the composite characteristics of various loads. The parameters of the proposed load model are identified based on the system identification method as Recursive Least Square identification method. Case study results show the accuracy of proposed load model, and compared with some field measurements.

  • This paper presents the analysis and the design of IPMSM for high speed limit with constant torque. The characteristics of IPMSM are calculated by using d-q equivalent circuit having the parameters, such as current phase angle, d-q axis inductances, effective turns. These parameters affect the output characteristics. In this paper, the improved IPMSM to widen the operating speed limit are designed by the results.
