This paper presents the moving object detection and tracking algorithm using edge information base on human perceptual system The human visual system recognizes shapes and objects easily and rapidly. It's believed that perceptual organization plays on important role in human perception. It presents edge model(GCS) base on extracted feature by perceptual organization principal and extract edge information by definition of the edge model. Through such human perception system I have introduced the technique in which the computers would recognize the moving object from the edge information just like humans would recognize the moving object precisely.

The assessment of wind-induced motion plays an important role in the development and design of the majority of today's structures that push the limits of engineering knowledge. A vital part of the design is the prediction of wind-induced tall building motion and the assessment of its effects on occupant comfort. Little of the research that has led to the development of the various international standards for occupant comfort criteria have considered the effects of the low-frequency motion on task performance and interference with building occupants' daily activities. It has only recently become more widely recognized that it is no longer reasonable to assume that the level of motion that a tall building undergoes in a windstorm will fall below an occupants' level of perception and little is known about how this motion perception could also impact on task performance. Experimental research was conducted to evaluate the performance of individuals engaged in a manual tracking task while subjected to low level vibration in the frequency range of 0.125 Hz-0.50 Hz. The investigations were carried out under narrow-band random vibration with accelerations ranging from 2 milli-g to 30 milli-g (where 1 milli-g = 0.0098 $m/s^2$) and included a control condition. The frequencies and accelerations simulated are representative of the level of motion expected to occur in a tall building (heights in the range of 100 m -350 m) once every few months to once every few years. Performance of the test subjects with and without vibration was determined for 15 separate test conditions and evaluated in terms of time taken to complete a task and accuracy per trial. Overall, the performance under the vibration conditions did not vary significantly from that of the control condition, nor was there a statistically significant degradation or improvement trend in performance ability as a function of increasing frequency or acceleration.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of continuous wave ultrasound and pulsed wave ultrasound that influence changes in pain and range of motion when applied to patients with temporomandibular joint disability. Methods: The subjects of the study were 40 selected patients who had been diagnosed with temporomandibular joint movement restriction and had endured pain for more than two weeks. These patients had visited K orthopedic surgery in Deagu measured from October 1, 2004 to March 31, 2005. The subjects were divided into two groups with 20 patients each. The one group was applied to continuous wave ultrasound and the other group was applied to pulsed wave ultrasound at a dosage of 1.5 W/$cm^2$ for a duration of 5 minutes and eight times for two weeks. The pain perception degree were measured by using Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) and the range of motion was measured by using a rule for each group. Results: The results obtained were as follows The change in the pain perception degree were statistically significant in both group(p<0.05) ; however, the continuous wave ultrasound group showed more difference in the average decrease in the pain perception degree than did the pulsed wave ultrasound group. Both groups showed significant results regarding changed in the range of motion(p<0.05) ; Comparing the difference in the average of the range of motion between the two groups, came back from normal the range of motion of temporomandibular joint at the both groups. Conclusion : Based on the results of this study, we found that both groups showed decreased pain and increased the range of motion, but the continuous wave ultrasound method had a higher therapy effect pain and the range of motion than the pulsed wave ultrasound method to patients with temporomandibular joint disability. With such finding, we expect that according to ultrasound therapy applicant method can be helped usable accurately to patients with variety symptoms temporomandibular joint disability.

Although autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by social impairments, patients with ASD frequently manifest atypical sensory behaviors. Recently, atypical sensory perception in ASD has received much attention, yet little is known about its cause or neurobiology. Herein, we review the findings from neuroimaging studies related to visual perception in ASD. Specifically, we examined the neural underpinnings of visual detection, motion perception, and face processing in ASD. Results from neuroimaging studies indicate that atypical visual perception in ASD may be influenced by attention or higher order cognitive mechanisms, and atypical face perception may be affected by disrupted social brain network. However, there is considerable evidence for atypical early visual processing in ASD. It is likely that visual perceptual abnormalities are independent of deficits of social functions or cognition. Importantly, atypical visual perception in ASD may enhance difficulties in dealing with complex and subtle social stimuli, or improve outstanding abilities in certain fields in individuals with Savant syndrome. Thus, future research is required to elucidate the characteristics and neurobiology of autistic visual perception to effectively apply these findings in the interventions of ASD.
Anticipation effect has been used as a traditional skill to enhance the dynamic motion of the traditional 2D animation. Basically, anticipation means the action of opposite direction which performs before the real action step. In this paper, we propose the perception-based video anticipation method to guide a user's visual attention to the important region. Using the image based attention map, we calculate the visual attention region and then combine this map with temporal saliency of video. We apply the anticipation effect in these saliency regions using the blur kernel. Using our method, we can generate the dynamic video motion which has attentive guidance.
When creating large crowds, it is unavoidable that the models and motions of many characters will be cloned. McDonnell implemented experiments focus on appearance and motion of characters to test user perception of crowds. As a result, appearance clones were easier to perceive than motion clones. In this paper, I researched about relation between character cloning and user perception for real-time game environment expanding McDonnell's research. This paper focuses on the way to recognition of multiple clones in dramatic environment free to change view point and has crowds move to every directions by trajectories. In particular, this paper shows the possibility of character diversification applied various shapes, colors and patterns to game item have important elements for game characters. Also, I suggests range of distances between clones by a series of experiments of user perception for clones's moving direction and distance.

The goal of this paper is to describe how to construct an integrated simulation system that integrates limited perception-based mapping with spatial reasoning, path planning, and human motion style in order for a virtual soldier to effectively communicate with other virtual solders and/or human participants in a simulation. Virtual human research often ignores or simplifies perception by using a full map (with omniscient perception). In addition, previous research used a placement node where virtual environment designers save in advance the required information. However, this paper also shows that the human-like movement behavior can be achieved by the integrated ECA system with the mapping that supports a spatial understanding and does not require the omniscient perception.
The objective of this research is to monitor and control the vehicle motion in order to remove out the existing safety risk based upon the human-machine cooperative vehicle control. A new control method is proposed to control the steering wheel of the vehicle to keep the lane. Desired angle of the steering wheel to control the vehicle motion could be calculated based upon vehicle dynamics, current and estimated pose of the vehicle every sample steps. The vehicle pose and the road curvature were calculated by geometrically fusing sensor data from camera image, tachometer and steering wheel encoder though the Perception Net, where not only the state variables, but also the corresponding uncertainties were propagated in ...
This paper proposes a new group mobility model for wireless communication. The mobility model considers the psychological and sociological behavior of each node and the perception of other nodes for describing interactions among a set of nodes. The model assumes no permanent membership of a group, capable of capturing natural behaviors as fork and join. It emulates a cooperative movement pattern observed in mobile ad hoc networks of military operation and campus, in which a set of mobile stations accomplish a cooperative motion affected by the individual behavior as well as a group behavior. The model also employs a physic model to avoid a sudden stopping and a sharping turning.

In this paper, we propose a band stop filter(BSF) for reducing drag-like effect of the low pass filter(LPF), a block by block adaptive filtering method, and a motion adaptive filtering method, which show better results in terms of PSNR or human visual perception compared to the conventional method using LPF. The BSF improves the draglike effects of the low pass filter by passing temporal high frequency components of video sequences which correspond to objects with large motion. The proposed adaptive methods also improve the conventional adaptive filtering by modifying the conventional algorithm and applying the algorithms for small blocks. The simulation results show that the proposed filtering methods show better results in terms of PSNR and subjective tests in most cases. Also in case of block by block adaptive filtering, it is verified that the application of the algorithm for smaller block gives better results.
