장애아동 건강증진을 위한 어머니의 돌봄 행위에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Influencing Mothers' Caring Behavior in Health Promotion of Children with Disabilities)

  • Purpose: This study was done to investigate the factors associated with a mothers' caring behavior in health promotion of children with disabilities. Methods: Data were collected by using self-reported questionnaires from 371 mothers who had a 3-12 year old child with a disability from July 14 to 31, 2008. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and hierarchical multiple regression analysis with the SPSS program. Results: There were significant differences on the mothers' caring behavior according to children's negative and hyperactive behavior, mothers' perceived burden, parenting efficacy, and social support. Children's characteristics explained 5.1% of mothers' caring behavior. The power of explanation ($R^2$) was 16.6% by adding mother's characteristics including mother's job, burden, parenting efficacy, satisfaction and stigma, and increased to 23.5% by adding social support. Conclusion: These results showed that mothers' caring behavior for their children's health promotion could be influenced by children's behavior problems, mothers' perception of burden, parenting efficacy, and social support. It suggests that health promotion programs for children with disabilities should focus on lowering subjective burden and enhancing mother's efficacy as a type of social support.

유아에 대한 생산적인 아버지 노릇 관련 변인 연구 (The Variables Related to Generative Fathering of Children)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine which of the variables were associated with generative fathering. The subject of the study is consist of 229 fathers who have 4∼6 years old in chonju. The data was gathered through questionnaires. The statistical analysis for this study were frequency. T-test. correlation. Anallysis of Variance(ANOVA), Multiple Regression. Cronbach's Alpha was used to test the reliability of the scales. The major results were as follows : First, there were no significant child's sex and birth in generative fathering. Second. there were significant father's job, income of home and type of family but there were no significant paternal education, father's age and where or not the mother works outside the home in generative fathering. Third. generative fathering was positively correlated with paternal childhood experience. paternal marital satisfaction and father's job satisfaction. Fourth, generative fathering was negatively correlated with parenting stress. Fifth, there were significant differences according to sex-role identity of father in generative fathering that is, generative fathering had more participation and responsibility when father had androgynous or feminine identity than when they had masculine or undifferentiated. Sixth, in multiple regression analysis, generative fathering was predicted significantly by paternal childhood experience, father's sex-role identity. paternal job satisfaction and parenting stress.

판매직 주부의 공평성인지도 ${\cdot}$ 역할스트레스 및 생활만족도에 관한 연구 (Perceived Equity, Role Stress and Life Satisfaction of Married Working-Mother Salesclerks)

  • The main purpose of the research was to prove, in a practical sense, the relationship among perceived equity, role stress and life satisfaction of employed wives working in sales departments. The subjects were employed wives working in sales departments who have at least one child and a spouse, living in Seoul and the Metropolitan area. The final data analysis used 487 out of 668 questionnaires. Statistical analyses were carried out using SPSS/PC WIN which included frequencies, mean, percentages, Pearson's correlation, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis. The findings of the study were as follows: 1) As their education level was low, the education level of their spouse was high, the communication level between couples was high, and the self-oriented perfectionism was low, their perceived emotional relationship was equal. As they were old, the communication level between couples was high, and the self-oriented perfectionism was low, their perceived position in sharing household chores was equal. On the other hand, as they were younger, the education level of their spouse was high, the reason for getting a job lay in supporting the family, and overtime hours worked, there was a higher level of role stress. 2) The influential variables which affect the life satisfaction, in order of importance, were communication level between couples, mother's role stress, age, non-financial reason of getting a job, and sharing household works. For relative contribution degree about life satisfaction, psychological variables among independent variables were revealed as the most influential ones. Thus, efficient communication between couples affected the life satisfaction to a great degree. Furthermore, the study proved that not only role stress variables but also perceived equity variables contributed to the life satisfaction.

청소년의 일상적 스트레스와 사회적 지지 지각의 관련성 연구 (A Study on the Perceives Stress and Social supports of Adolescent)

  • The Purpose of this study was to examine the adolescents'stress and social supports and the relationships of there two factors. Specifically, this study investigated the adolescents'stress and social supports depending on their sex, family status, socio-economic status. The subjects of this study were 467 middle school students in Pusan. Questionnaires were used consisting of adolescents'perceived stress and social supports for data analysis, Cronbach's $\alpha$-coefficient, frequency distribution, percentage, Oneway-ANOVA, t-test and Pearson's γ-coefficient were used. Major findings were as follows: Adolescents'stress were significantly different depending on their sex, father's educational level, family income and family intimacy The source of the adolescents'social support sources were different depending on their sex, family status, father's educational level, mother's educational level, family income and family intimacy. Adolescents'social support types were different depending on family status, lather educational level, mother educational level, father\`s job, family income and family intimacy. There were negative correlation between stress and social supports.

다문화가족 방문교육지도사의 셀프리더십과 직무몰입에 관한 연구 (A Study on Self-Leadership and Job Involvement of Multicultural Family Home-Visit Instructors)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate differences in self-leadership and job involvement based on the education levels, majors, and teaching experiences of multicultural family home-visit instructors and the influence of self-leadership on job involvement. Methods: 668 home-visit instructors participated in the online survey from 140 multicultural family support centers in Seoul, 6 metropolitan cities, 9 provinces, and other cities and counties. Data were analyzed through frequency, percentages, Pearson's correlations, one-way ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$ post-hoc test, and stepwise multi-regression using SPSS 21.0. Results: The main findings are as follows. First, instructors who were high school graduates had significantly higher scores in self-leadership than the other groups. There was only a significant difference in self-reward of self-leadership based on their majors. There were no significant differences in job involvement based on the education level and major. The greater their home-visit teaching experiences, the higher their scores in self-leadership and job involvement. Second, the stepwise multiple regression model showed that self-expectation, self-goal setting, constructive thinking, and rehearsal of self-leadership explained 49% of the total variance in job involvement. Conclusion: Even though the high school graduates had significantly higher scores in self-expectation, rehearsal, and constructive thinking of self-leadership than the other groups, over-generalization should be avoided because the sample size was relatively small. Based on the finding that greater home-visit teaching experiences was associated with higher self-leadership and job involvement, it would be necessary to improve working condition to prevent instructors from changing jobs. These findings stress the importance of providing opportunities for home-visit instructors to develop leadership, thus improving job involvement.

산후조리원의 모자건강관리 현황과 제도화방안 - 지역사회중심의 모자건강관리센터(TMIC) 개발을 위한 전략 - (A Model for Community Based Mother Infant Care Center - TMIC(transitional mother infant care center) using a Sanhujoriwon -)

  • The purpose of this study was 1) analyze the current state of Sanhojoriwon; and 2) to suggest the new model for the community based mother infants health care delivery system: strategies of TMIC are related to Public Health policy, cost-effectiveness, mother infant care provision of medical professionalism, and so on. Method: Forty-seven workers from seventeen Sanhojoriwon participated to analyze several aspects of Sanhojoriwon. Using a questionnaire developed at Korean Sanhojori Research Forum (KSARF), such as the traditional and medical concept of the Sanhojori, postpartum care, Korean traditional postpartum care, job description on women and infant care at Sanhojoriwon, professional management, health care policy and the educational need. Results: Based on the descriptive study results, the TMIC, the community based transitional mother infants care center was suggested as a new model for the cyclic public health care system related on the reproductive health, using an already existing related center, Sanhojoriwon. Also, several strategies were presented on the TMIC.

어머니의 보육지식과 어머니-교사 의사소통과의 관계 (Maternal Knowledge of Childcare and Its Effects on Mother-Teacher Communication)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between maternal knowledge of childcare and mother-teacher communication. The participants consisted of 240 mothers whose children were enrolled at seven childcare centers in Seoul. Respondents were asked to complete a series of questionnaires reporting the important aspects of their childcare, the frequency of mother-teacher communication, and individual characteristics. Information about childcare's structural and procedural characteristics were obtained through interviews with the directors of those centers. The results indicated that mothers only answered 45.5% of questions correctly, and reported a lack of knowledge about childcare services in their respective centers. In particular, mothers didn't have information about caregivers (e.g, education, year of job experience, license, etc). Actual maternal knowledge was significantly correlated with the length of time which mothers were associated with their childcare and the frequency of mother-teacher communication. In addition, there were significant differences in the maternal knowledge regarding childcare services according to mothers' educational level. The results of this study imply that effective parent education programs are needed for mothers who want to enroll their children in childcare centers.

일하는 어머니의 취업특성에 따른 부모역할만족 (Parental Satisfaction and Employment Characteristics of Working Mother)

  • The purpose of this study was (1) to explore the difference in parental satisfaction regarding personal/family, work, and psychological variables of employment characteristics, and (2) to investigate the most effecting variables on the parental satisfaction. For this study, the working mother with children aged under 10 year were surveyed. The results of this study were as follow; (1) There were significant differences in the parental satisfaction according to work time, job preference, income, the difficulty of work life. However, working mother's personal and family variable were not found as the related variable. Psychological variables were correlated with parental satisfaction. (2) Maternal role efficiency, dual role conflict, flexibility of work, marriage year, income, psychological stress, expanded family, durations of occupation, spouse support significantly predicted parental satisfaction. Psychological variables were important in parental satisfaction of working mothers.

일.가정양립태도와 환경이 취업모가 지각한 모자간 자원제공에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Work-Family Related Environment and Attitude on Resource Exchange between Working Mothers and Their Child)

  • This research tried to identify how different types of environments related with work-family reconciliation effects the amount of resource exchange between working mothers and their child. In this study, we applied theoretical concepts such as 'Defamiliarization'(rights of mothers to access the work force without any environmental obstacles) and 'Familiarization'(a movement trying to balance work with family and child). This study is an analysis of valid questionnaires filled out by 220 female respondent's who was holding a job and also had children attending elementary, middle, or high school at the time answering the survey questionnaire. Results of this survey are as follows. Mother's attitudes toward familiarization and child's school environments related with defamiliarization had critical effects on mother's perceived resource exchange. And in a further analysis, among the clustered groups of mothers the group which consists of mothers who try to work hardly on both work and family had the highest degree of the resource supplies to their child.

아버지의 양육참여와 유아의 역할수용능력 및 친사회적 행동과의 관계 (Father's Child-Rearing Behaviors and Children's Role-Taking in Children's Prosocial Behavior)

  • The purpose of this study was to answer the following questions. (1) Is there any relationship between father's child-rearing behavior and children's role-taking, between father's child-rearing behaviors and children's prosocial behavior?(2) Is there any relationship between children's role-taking and children's prosocial behavior? (3) Is there any differences in father's child-rearing behaviors, children's role-taking and children's prosocial behavior in relation to children's sex, SES, and mother's job? (4) what are the most important predictor variables which influence on children's role-taking? (5) What are the most important predictor variables which influence on children's prosocial behavior? The subjects of this study were 72boys and 70girls attending the nursery schools and their mothers in Busan. For the measurement of father's child-rearing behaviors, Choi's(1991) questionnare were used and for children's role-taking, children were interviewed with the Flavell's apple-dog stories. children's prosocial behavior was measured by amount of candies to share with classmates. The results were as follows: (1) There were significant correlation between father's child-rearing behaviors and children's role-taking, between father's was positively related to children's prosocial behavior. (2) Children's role-taking was positively related to children's prosocial behavior. (3) There were significant differences in father's child-rearing behaviors, children's role-taking and children's prosocial behavior according to children's sex, SES, and mother's job. (4) Father's child-rearing behaviors and SES were the most important predictor variables influencing on children's role-taking. (5) Children's sex, children's role-taking and father's childrearing behaviors were the most important predictor variables influencing on children's prosocial behavior. The findings stated above seemed father's child-rearing behaviors and children's role-taking, influenced on children's prosocial behavior.
