Post-modern society leads us to accept diversity and variability instead of pursuit of the absolute truth, beauty or classical value systems, thus leading to hybrid phenomena. The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristics and expressive effects of hybrid expressions through which to provide conceptual bases for interpreting expanded meanings of fashion illustrations that express aesthetic concepts of hybrid culture. Hybrid refers to a condition on which diverse elements are mixed with each other, so any one element can not dominate others. It is often used to create something unique and new by a combination of unprecedented things. Hybrid can be classified into four categories: temporal hybrid, spatial hybrid, morphological hybrid and hybrid of different genres. Temporal hybrid from a combination of past and present in fashion illustration includes temporal blending by repetition and juxtaposition. Spatial hybrid shows itself in the form of inter-penetration and interrelationship by means of projection, overlapping, juxtaposition and multiple space. Morphological hybrid expresses itself through combination of heterogenous forms and restructuring of deformed forms. Hybrid of different genres in fashion illustration applies various graphic elements or photos within the space, and represents blending of arts and daily living. Such hybrid expressions in fashion illustrations reflect the phenomena of diversity and variability of post-modern society. Hybrid expressions in fashion illustrations predict endless possibility of expressing new images through combining various forms or casual elements and can develop toward a new creative technique.
After detecting the edge which is applying the morphological operators to the hybrid FCNN, we could analyze and compare. The hybrid FCNN is completely removed to the noise in the image, and worked in order to obtain the result image which is closest to the original image. Also, the morphological operator is applied to the image as the method in order to detect more good the edge than the conventional edge. FCNN which is the pipeline type is completely suitable to detecting the image processing as well as the hardware size. In this paper. we would make the structure elements of the morphological operator the variable template and the static template, and compare with the edge enhancement of two images. After being the result which is applying the variable template morphological operator and the static template morphological operator to the image, we could know that the edge images applying the variable template is superior in a edge enhancement side.

MF(Morphological filter) is generally composed of several morphological operation, which are the diverse structuring element. The two basic operation are erosion and dilation. The two other operation, opening and closing, are defined based on these two operation. Performance of open-closing(OC) is better exellent than close-opening(CO) to reduce noise of image data with Gaussian noise. In this paper, to use the hybrid median filter in processing the image, is shown that hybrid median filter has better results image quality than other filters, to analyze by computer simulation.

The purpose of this study is to show how to gain the morphology of the Hybrid Spatial Structures and to get the geometrical data such as node coordinates, member relationships and graphic images. To form spatial structures, we have developed morphological aspects of general spatial structures, programming process and techniques. Structural design has many processes. Especially, it is very important to consider the determination of structural configuration. Regular Hybrid Spatial Structures have complex configuration, so we need to make use of automated computer process to determine structural shape in Hybrid Spatial Structures. We have applied morphological aspects to double layer plate, single layer dome, double layer dome and tensegrity structure.
The plant "Hong-do-go-deul-ppae-gi" has been considered as Crepidiastrum × muratagenii, a hybrid between C. denticulatum and C. lanceolatum, based on its morphological traits and geographical distribution. To reveal the hybrid origin of Hong-do-go-deul-ppae-gi, we examined additional morphological traits of this plant and its putative parents (C. denticulatum, C. lanceolatum, C. platyphyllum) and analyzed one nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer (ITS) region and four chloroplast regions (trnT-L, trnL-F, rpl16 intron, and rps16 intron). As a result of examining the morphological traits, putative hybrid individuals were classified into three types based on the habit, cauline leaf, outer phyllary, and achene beak traits. A molecular analysis found that the ITS sequences of Type 1 and Type 2 individuals showed additive species-specific sites of C. denticulatum and C. lanceolatum. Plastid sequences of Type 1 and Type 2 individuals showed C. denticulatum and C. lanceolatum sequences, respectively. However, Type 3 individuals had ITS and plastid sequences corresponding to C. denticulatum. Accordingly, Type 1 and Type 2 individuals not only share morphological traits with C. denticulatum and C. lanceolatum but also show additive species-specific sites for C. denticulatum and C. lanceolatum, and not C. platyphyllum, supporting its origin as a hybrid between C. denticulatum and C. lanceolatum. Type 3 had morphological traits similar to other hybrid types but was distinguished with respect to outer phyllaries and demonstrated some resemblance to C. denticulatum. In a molecular analysis, Type 3 was found to be identical with regard to the sequence of C. denticulatum and was judged to be an ecological variation of C. denticulatum.
The purported four hybrid origins of Asplenium in Korea were tested based on morphological, cytological and DNA sequence data. Asplenium castaneo-viride, A. ${\times}$ uiryeongse, A. ${\times}$ montanus, and A. ${\times}$ kitazawae share several morphological characteristics with the Asian walking fern A. ruprechtii and related taxa as parents and show a sympatric distribution with the putative parents, raising the possibility of hybrid origins: A. castaneo-viride (A. ruprechtii and A. incisum), A. ${\times}$ uiryeongse (A. ruprechtii and A. pekinense), A. ${\times}$ montanus (A. ruprechtii, A. trichomanes, and A. incisum), and A. ${\times}$ kitazawae (A. ruprechtii and A. sarelii). We investigated flow cytometry and chloroplast DNA sequence data (rbcL, rps4-trnS, and rps4-trnS intergenic spacer) to clarify the hybridization and origin of each hybrid. In the flow cytometry analyses, A. ruprechtii shows diploid (2x) only, whereas A. castaneo-viride (3x, 4x), A. ${\times}$ uiryeongse (3x), A. ${\times}$ montanus (3x, 4x), and A. ${\times}$ kitazawae (2x, 4x) exhibit polyploidy, suggesting hybrid events along speciation. The rbcL and rps4-trnS and rps4-trnS intergenic spacer data suggest that A. ruprechtii is one the maternal ancestors of all four hybrids. In addition, the rps4-trnS and rps4-trnS intergenic spacer data indicate that A. incisum is also the maternal ancestor of A. ${\times}$ kitazawae and A. ${\times}$ montanus, proposing multiple hybridization events for these two hybrids. In A. ${\times}$ montanus, morphological features such as the leaf forms and sympatric distributions of the species also support the multimaternal hypothesis, but the morphological features of A. ${\times}$ kitazawae must be examined with consideration of hybrid events. To clarify the complex hybrid evolutionary lineages of the four Asplenium hybrids, further research with taxon sampling and molecular markers should be conducted.
This study was carried out to demonstrate morphological, cytological and molecular evidence for intersubgeneric $F_1$ hybrid between Glycine tomentella and G. max cv. ‘Baemkong’. Morphological features of $F_1$ plant for pistil and stamen, flower color and growth habit showed intermediate type between G. tomentella and G. max cv. ‘Baemkong’. Chromosome number of $F_1$ plant was 2n=39, which explained the evidence of $F_1$ hybrid between G. tomentella (2n=38) and G. max cv. ‘Baemkong’ (2n=40). Polyacrylamide isoelectric focusing pattern for esterase and peroxidase also showed that the $F_1$ plant was true $F_1$ hybrid between G. tomentella and G. max cv. ‘Baemkong’. From RAPD analysis, we identified that 62 primers showing bands in $F_1$ hybrid had both bands from G. tomentella and G. max cv. ‘Baemkong’, which suggested that this was true $F_1$ hybrid. Based on our results from morphological, cytological and molecular analyses, we suggest that the $F_1$ plant was true intersubgeneric hybrid between G. tomentella and G. max cv. ‘Baemkong’. Our results still remain us further study to recover fertility of $F_1$ hybrids. The occurrence of maternal and/or paternal inheritance in $F_1$ hybrid from intersubgeneric cross between G. tomentella and G. max cv. ‘Baemkong’ need to be explained.

Original binary image can be reconstructed without any distortion by MS(morphological skeleton) image. Though we reduce some points in a MS image, there is no problem to reconstruct original image by it. And then, there are two methods of LMS and GMS which reduce the redundant points of a MS image. The redundancy degree of a GMS image is zero and it is less than that of LMS. And then, GMS image is the best thing of the three kinds of morphological skeleton image to enhance the compression efficienty by the Elias code. But there are continous SKF=1 points in a GMS image whenever using 2 dimensional structureing element. Those points in a GMS image gives rise to a bad compression efficiency. And then, solving this problem, this paper proposes hybrid structuring elements algorithms for binary image compression.

The interspecific hybrid of Salix caprea and Salix gracilistyla has never been identified or studied in Korea. Accordingly, this study investigated the flower morphological characteristics of the interspecific hybrid between S. caprea and S. gracilistyla and compared the interspecific hybrid with S. caprea and S. gracilistyla, respectively. The female flowers were investigated for 12 characteristics and the male flowers were investigated for nine. For the female flowers, those of the hybrids were larger than those of S. caprea and S. gracilistyla in terms of catkin length (CL), bract length (BL), and bract width (BW). The hybrids are intermediates between S. caprea and S. gracilistyla in terms of ovary length, width, and stipitate length as well as gland length (GL). For the male flowers, those of the hybrids were bigger than those of S. caprea and S. gracilistyla in terms of CL, BL, and BW. The hybrids are intermediates between S. caprea and S. gracilistyla in terms of catkin width and stamen length (SL). A principal component analysis (PCA) of the female data showed that the first principal component (PC) explained 57.5% of the total variation. The first PC highly correlated the ovary stipitate and pistil style lengths. The analysis was divided into three groups of S. caprea, S. gracilistyla, and the hybrid by the first PC. The results of a PCA of the male data showed that the first PC explained 35.7% of the total variation. The first PC highly correlated with the adelphous SL and was divided into three groups of S. caprea, S. gracilistyla, and the hybrid. The results of the discriminant analysis showed that S. caprea, S. gracilistyla, and the hybrid were distinguishable by flower morphological characteristics. Therefore, the hybrid was distinctly separated from S. caprea and S. gracilistyla by flower characteristics.

A male, presumed to be an intergeneric hybrid between Tanakia lanceolata and Rhodeus pseudosericeus, was collected in the Boryeong Daecheoncheon Stream flowing into the Yellow Sea in the Republic of Korea. Morphological and molecular phylogenetic analyses were performed to discriminate the definite origin of the estimated natural hybrid. As a result of the morphological analysis, the color of the dorsal and anal fin rays edges of the natural hybrid individual, the upper and lower body colors followed the morphological characteristics of T. lanceolata, and that blue longitudinal stripe in the center of the caudal peduncle, the incomplete lateral line, and the barbels absent followed the morphological characteristics of R. pseudosericeus. In addition, as a result of the cytochrome b (cytb) gene analysis of mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), the natural hybrid showed a nucleotide sequence similarity of 99.82 to 100% with T. lanceolata, and the maternal species was identified as T. lanceolata. As a result of the recombination activating gene 1 (rag1) gene analysis of nuclear DNA (nDNA), the natural hybrid showed double peaks pattern reflecting both the single nucleotide polymorphism sites (38 bp) between T. lanceolata and R. pseudosericeus, and the paternal species was identified as R. pseudosericeus. Therefore, a natural hybrid estimated male of Acheilognathinae analyzed in this study was found to be an intergeneric hybrid between a female T. lanceolata and a male R. pseudosericeus.
