Development of Blue Fluorescent Light Hole Transport Layer of Thiophene Base (싸이오펜 기반 청색 인광용 정공수송층 개발)

  • We were designed the hole transport layer of the new composite skeleton structure having a high charge mobility and thermal stability. In this paper, a hole transport layer material based on thiophene molecular structure capable of hole mobility characteristics and high triplet energy was designed and synthesized. The structures and properties of the synthesized compounds were characterized by NMR, fluorescence spectroscopy and energy band gap. As a result of NMR measurement, it was confirmed that when analyzing the integrated type with the position where the measured peak is displayed, it agrees with the structure of hole transport materials. The emission characteristics of the hole transport layer material showed absorption characteristics at 412 nm and 426 nm, respectively, and exhibited emission characteristics in the range of 469 nm and 516 nm.

  • The role of viscosity index improver's(Ⅶ) additives for modem engine lubrication is complex. Under the condition of atmosphere or low shear rate, the characteristics of Ⅶ added lubricant is verified and quoted frequently for mathematical model of lubricant behavior. However, recent research shows that added lubricant has the characteristics of shear thinning at high shear rate condition although it performs well enough over the whole range of working temperature. At high shear rate, they show significant decrease of apparent viscosity irrespective of temperature. Many experimental researches verify that Ⅶ added lubricant shows boundary film layer formation on the solid surface as well as shear thinning effect by its polymeric molecular characteristics. The intend of our research is to verify the effects of Ⅶ from the viewpoint of continuum mechanics, because conventional Reynolds'equation with only pressure-viscosity relation cannot fully predict the lubricant behavior under the Ⅶ added condition. In these aspects, Reynolds'equation of Newtonian fluid model lacks the reflection of real fluid behavior and there is no way to explain the non-linear characteristics of Ⅶ added lubricant. In this research, we mathematically modeled the Ⅶ added lubricant behaviors which are the characteristics of non-Newtonian fluid behavior at high shear rate and boundary film formation on the solid surface. The consideration of elastic deformation in the contact region is also included in our computation and finally the converged film pressure and the film thickness with elastic deformation are obtained. The results are compared with those of Newtonian fluid model.

Biological Characteristics of Protein Hydrolysates Derived from Yoensan Ogae Meat by Various Commercial Proteases (프로테아제 종류에 따른 이용한 연산 오계육 단백질 가수분해물의 아미노산 및 생리활성 특성)

  • Natural-derived protein-derived low molecular weight peptides have been known to have physiological activities such as antioxidant, hypertension relief, immunomodulation, pain relief and antimicrobial activity. In this study, the low-molecular peptides were produced using commercial proteases (alcalase, bromelain, flavourzyme, neutrase, papain, protamex), and the antioxidant activity (DPPH scavenging activity, superoxide radical scavenging activity, hydroxy radical scavenging activity, and metals chelation capacity), constituent amino acid and molecular weight of the peptide were analyzed. Enzyme reaction was performed by adding 50 g of chopped Ogae meat slurry and 2%(w/v) protein enzyme into the enzyme reactor for 2 h at a pH of 6 and a temperature of $60^{\circ}C$. The degree of hydrolysis(%) after the reaction ranged from $36.65{\pm}4.10%$ to $70.75{\pm}5.29%$. The highest degree of hydrolysis of protamex was 46.3%, and the highest value of papain hydrolysate was $70.75{\pm}5.29%$. On the other hand, alcalase hydrolysate showed the lowest value of $36.65{\pm}4.10%$. Bromelain-treated low molecular weight peptides showed the highest DPPH radical scavenging activity and the lowest scavenging activity of alcalase-treated peptides. Superoxide radical scavenging activity showed that bromelain treated low molecular peptide showed the highest radical scavenging activity of 50% or more. Hydroxyl radical scavenging activity ranged from about 16.73 to 69.16%, the highest among bromelain-treated low molecular peptides. $Fe^{2+}$ chelation abilities showed a distribution between about 17.85 to 47.84%. The chelation capacity of the hydrolysates was not significantly different without any difference to the enzymes used. The results of amino acid analysis showed differences between hydrolysates of alcalase, bromelain, flavourzyme, neutrase, papain, and protamex enzymes. The most amino acid was glutamic acid. The molecular weight distribution of the enzyme hydrolyzates was in the range of 300-2,000 Da, although the molecular weight distribution differed according to the treated enzymes.

  • Specimens of Bosmina longirostris collected from various freshwater habitats of 84 localities in South Korea from October 1981 to August 1997 were examined, and seasonal changes of the cladoceran populations in Late Kwangjuho from October 1995 to August 1977 were analysed. In this paper, B. longirostris in Korea was redescribed and figured, with a discussion of morphological characteristics. Some ecological features of the species were noted.

  • Gray mold of blueberry caused by Botrytis sp. is reported for the first time in Korea. A detailed description of the fungus is given, along with its rDNA internal transcribed spacer sequence. The fungus was identified as Botrytis cinerea based on mycological characteristics and molecular data.

  • Tolaasin is a channel forming bacterial toxin produced by Pseudomonas tolaasii and causes a brown blotch disease on cultivated oyster mushrooms. When tolaasin molecules form channels in the membranes of mushroom cells, they destroy cellular membrane structure, known as 'colloid osmotic lysis'. In order to understand the molecular mechanisms forming membrane channels by tolaasin molecules, we have investigated the electrophysiological characteristics of tolaasin-induced channels in lipid bilayer.(omitted)

A detailed description of this Korean specimen is given, along with its rDNA internal transcribed spacer sequence. On the basis of mycological characteristics and molecular data, the fungus was identified as R. oryzae Went & Prinsen Geerligs.

  • 기체 시로의 정밀한 분석이 가능한 공명이온화 질량분석장치(Resonance lonization Mass Spectrometor)를 설계, 제작하고 그 특성을 분석하였다. 두 개의 터보펌프(turbo-molecular pump)로 차등펌핑하여 1*10-7Torr 의 진공도를 얻었으며, Nd:YAG 레이저로 광펌핑되는 색소레이저를 분자빔에 조사하여 공명다광자 이온화현상에 의해 발생되는 이온들을 가속시켜 질량을 측정하였다. 아닐린을 시료로 사용하여 분석한 결과 최대 분해능 200을 얻었다.
